Absolute PR job from the late 90s. Enjoyment came from the nostalgia.

i loved this actually. didn't learn as much as i would like to about the insides of football excellence but vinnie wold be the fist to admit that his auto wouldn't be ideally aligned to that :)
it talks of his relatively poor upbringing north of London and his break in Sweden and his return to Wimbledon and progression in his career when he played for Chelsea and Leeds inter alia. he comes across as a nice guy but i do remember him playing in the 90s and feeling intimidated just watching him on tv. the famous "balls" incident with gazza is explained and the other crazy antics the "crazy gang" used to get up to at Wimbledon is also very very interesting. the back cover of the book i have is hilarious. it shows a snap shot of vinnie challenging ince (then at Liverpool) for the ball. ince is off the ground with his foot on the ball and guess where vinnies foot is, on inces shoulder. hilarious. not as good as some of the other autos i read recently but certifiably worth a read for any footballer. :)

A bit dated now but still a good read, good that it doesnt take 100 odd pages going on about his youth and gets right into the good stuff

Nice to read about how Vinnie got into football and acting. Interesting and informative - lovely to see a softer side of the hard man.
