OMG! I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!!
I was so excited for this book to come out and WOW I was definitely not disappointed. This story will hit all your emotions like a freight train. I was so consumed from the first page I read the whole book in one afternoon. It starts out with a bang and the aftershocks just keep coming. At one point in the book it made me think of the Wizard of Oz movie where it goes from black & white to beautiful color. Lol.
Alpha Connell's character has grown into a man that is revered and respected and grown in all aspects of his life. He brings the Blackshadow pack from nothing but shame, pain and sadness to something spectacular.
Excitement & Chaos, Sadness & Hope all come together as well as love, devotion, & loyalty to make the Blackshadow pack something to be proud of and it made this story just perfect for me. My emotions were being pulled in all different directions & I LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT! Lol.
I love all the new additions to the series and can't wait to find out which characters book is next. Lol. I hope it's Alpha Lyle of the Spirit Walker pack and I'm dying to find out what happens with Alpha Aurora and the Blood Pearl pack. Jan you're killin me here! Lol. The suspense is at times so intense I had to pause to wrap my mind around everything that's going on. IT'S SO EXCITING! Lol. There are moments that will have you laughing out loud and crying the next or laughing so hard tears are rolling down your cheeks. Lol. It made me aware that my mascara was not waterproof like I thought it was. Lol. The sex scenes are gentle with just enough passion and sexual tension to make it Smokin Hot. Leave it to Jan to leave me an emotional mess. Lol. I FREAKIN LOVED IT!
I EXTREMELY RECOMMEND THIS SERIES TO EVERYONE!

Loved Alpha Connell and Luna Hope's story.
We start out seeing how strong Hope is until she and part of her pack travel to the Blackshadow pack when she takes off immediately when thinking she might find her mate, and needs to have some assistance in realizing that her future is to be with her mate. She is struggling with her history but is strong and is willing to attempt to move on.
Alpha Connell has had to make lots of changes due to his family problems and is working extremely hard to get all his pack back on board with goals for the future. He is hoping for his Mate to step into his life but never did he imagine she would show up so quickly, and then disappear before he could recognize her.
They both work hard to help the pack recover again from the negative history and also become closer due to problems that pop up due to another history.
Action to keep us involved throughout.
Glad they each got their HEA.
Can't wait for more about the KOW.

Another brilliant book by this author! After not really liking Connell in book 1 he totally redeems himself in this book by becoming the alpha his pack wants/needs and proving he is nothing like father. Luna Hope is just the mate he needs. She has however got her own past issues that rear its ugly head but with the help and support of other packs they all work together to solve these problems. I’d advise you read book 1 before this book so you have all the background of the packs.

Great Read
I was super excited to read this book after loving the first book. Wow I was not disappointed Blackshadow was just as good as book 1. I’ll be honest I wasn’t over keen on Connell in the first book but after taking over as alpha after his dad was killed he made up for it and ended up being a brilliant character. He did amazing taking over the pack. Hope was his perfect match and pack Luna. I fell in love with Hope straight away she was kind hearted and caring and a great person. This book for me had it all, there were really funny bits to help with the heavy parts. It gripped you from the very beginning to the very end. I loved all the characters and world building I would recommend this book to everyone. Honestly if you haven’t read this series go back to book 1 and enjoy you won’t regret it.

This series is the first time I've read anything with shifters and it's all because I love J.E. Daelmans writing. The second book in the series highlights a pack from the first book, if you haven't read the first one I recommend it for some heck story. Connell is the new Alpha and has to earn the trust of his pack due to his evil father that nearly destroyed them.
He thinks it's time for him to find his mate, enter Hope. She's belongs to a pack in the mountains, and both picks think they can help each other.
This book has everything, suspense, will make you laugh, and fall in love with the characters. And if course waiting for the next book.

The Blackshadow’s alpha is dead, and his son Connell needs to step up and become the new alpha gaining the trust of the pack but also growing it so that pride is restored. Add into this mix most of the pack searching for their mate’s, this excellent book continues the Kingdom Of Wolves storyline with old and new characters. We meet Hope, who never knew her father but decides to be part of this new pack. There are many side plots along the way, but once she and Connell meet, they realise they are true mates. Both of our main characters have much to learn along the way and grow into their Alpha and Luna roles. There’s plenty of action, suspense, drama and danger within the plot, encouraging the reader to keep turning the pages and be drawn more into this world.
This is the 2nd book in this series so far and this world had me completely involved and invested. Highly recommended.

I love all the characters in this book and am looking forward to reading about them finding their mates. There are some continuing storyline’s in this book that I’m excited to read in future books. Amazing!! Was prepared not to enjoy this one as much as the first but I was wrong!! Jan just never disappoints. I love Connell and Hope’s relationship as well as the pack’s growth. I enjoyed meeting old friends and am ready for number three!! If you think you’re only an MC reader, don’t cheat yourself.

Feelgood tale
Who would have thought Connell could turn out to be a magnificent Alpha! His father destroyed the pack and caused so much pain to so many people, Connell has been fighting an uphill battle. Taking his pack to war is the last thing he wants, but he can’t let an evil Alpha win. I have to admit, I didn’t put the book down once I started it. Loved it.

Great shifter series.
Great 2nd book detailing how connell turnaround a pack that was ailing in book one. He meets his mate Hope and they both help the pack grow. Hopes' father tried to take her and following the war new relatives are found. Look forward to the next in the series.

J.E Daelman is making me into a paranormal/shifter reader one book at a time! Once again she takes us back into the Kingdom of Wolves series. This time she is focused on the Blackshadow Pack. I would highly recommend reading the first book, Wolfsfoot if you have not yet. This book will be that much better if you do.
In this book Daelman takes us back to Blackshadow Pack where book one started. Connell is now the Alpha of the pack, a job he is not taking lightly. He is trying to right all the wrongs that his father did within the pack and trying to rebuild. This will cause him to have to think outside the box a few times in order to turn the pack successful again. Along with all of that he has to deal with his wolf who wants to find his mate.
Once again the world and storyline that J.E. Daelman has created with these characters is so vibrant and imaginative, the characters being shifters doesn’t bother me in the slightest. With the hints she has in the last few chapters I find myself waiting impatiently for the next book in the series!

Jan takes us back into the Kingdom of Wolves, and this time with the new Alpha Connel having to rebuild his pack and the trust within, and get the bad taste that his evil father left behind. He also knows that he needs to find his mate as well.
Hope has her own past to reconcile with. She's with a group of shifters in Northlands Park and they become aware that they're going to be allowed to join a pack to have each other's backs, so they make the journey to the Blackshadow Pack. Several in the group discover their mates here, including Hope.
Come enjoy the adventures once again, and remember not all shifter stories are alike, because Jan still gives us the entertaining moments in these books, just like her MC stories.

Read it in one day. I couldn’t put it down.
After reading the first book I immediately downloaded the second. I got nothing done as I read this in one day. J.E. Daelman has built a world and created interesting characters and situations as the plot develops. There are funny scenes which add to the enjoyment of the read. The twist at the climax is unexpected.
You really must read book 1 before this book or you won’t understand the backstory of Connell. He comes into his own as he takes on his roll as pack Alpha. Hope grows from running away from her mate to a loved Luna. The story arc continues and the set up for the next book in the series weaves its way throughout the book.
I certainly hope Book 3 comes quickly.

She is a healer and her father is now an alpha of another pack. He refused to claim her mother after they were together just one night, they were fated mates. She left to raise Hope by herself, never telling her mate. His father wanted him to mate another for pack politics. His new chosen mate was barren. When Hope's father finds out about her, he comes for her. The other packs and the council help fight them.
Awesome story...hope there is another one regarding Auroras pack.

Connell’s redemption
Love love love this series! I read the first two books all in one day!!! After the first time I met Connell in book one, I didn’t think I would ever love him as much as I do. He has proven to be nothing like his father. In fact, he is an amazing leader, friend, colleague. The way he found his Luna is actually so sweet and definitely showed that he has a softer side. I loved this so much. I am so excited to get the next book in this series. I’ll be waiting patiently and with great enthusiasm. ❤️

After the first book, I wasn't sure I was going to like Connell, but he proved me wrong. Connell and Hope are mates, who finally found one another. I really liked these two together and how they run their pack. Connell is a compassionate alpha. Hope was different than I have seen before. I loved her. They steamed up my Kindle and made me laugh. I enjoyed this story. It kept me turning the pages. I look forward to see what happens next.

This is the 2nd book in the Kingdom of Wolves series and it's about the pack that Tati left in book 1. I would recommend that you start with book 1 or else you will be lost in the references to the past. This is the story of Alpha Connell and his Luna, Hope. I am not going to spoil the story, but I will tell you that it has suspense, some humor and romance. I enjoy reading the author's work, and will recommend this book and her other books to anyone who is interested.

Alpha Connell and Luna Hope make an awesome couple. Connell has grown so much from when he was introduced in the first book. I love how he has worked to become his own man and right the wrongs of his father. He found his Luna in Hope and she shows strength that she didn't know she had and together they make a powerful couple. Great read and I can't wait for more of this series to come out.

I love all of J.E. Daelman's books. I'm more accustomed to her MC books (which are so engaging and have wonderful humor), but I am thoroughly enjoying this shifter series as well. The world-building is amazing. The challenges the characters face are intriguing. These books leave you rooting for the good guys and for love!

What a great 2nd book. Almost better than the first one which I loved. Alpha Connell story was fantastic and Luna Hope was bright and cheerful even before she became Luna. The characters within the story added a great deal to it. Cannot wait to find out what happens in the next story

This is a nice enjoyable shifter read. I struggled a little with the writing in the previous book. It seemed a little drawn out and dare I say ponderous?

Can Connell turn the pack around and return it to its former glory? Well dive in and find out.
The curveball with Zoella adds some intrigue. The creation of different Councils that includes all of the pack, like the Warriors Council, the appointing of a gamma and a delta that blend in perfectly with the pack was a great move.
With a great storyline and flow we see the progress of the pack and their kingdom as alliances are made a d a line is drawn in the sand.
