A vampire princess. Seven hot sorcerers with secrets. A journey to save the world.
With the help of my seven giants, I stopped my stepmother from destroying us, but the danger isn’t gone. New powers are rising inside me, ones that could damn me or save the world—but only if I can control them.
And that’s not all. A new enemy lurks beyond the mountains, one determined to steal the power that sustains reality itself.
To protect everyone, my seven men and I must reclaim my throne—and with it, the magic my kingdom holds. But my people still think I’m a murderer, and I’m barely in control of my vampire side. Plus, to get home, we’ll have to cross the Wild Lands, a cursed territory overrun by feral magic.
There’s no way around the danger, and time is running out. But if there’s one thing I’ve learned from surviving my evil stepmother: I’m not the naïve princess I used to be.
Anything that threatens me or the men I love better run for its life.

The only thing kept me going through this book were the spicy scenes, which were knowing (excuse me Niko!?) but as far as plot goes I feel like nothing happened in this book. They walked from one place to another…. That’s it. I also don’t love the new additional romance companion. I liked the 7 “dwarves” because they all trusted each other and knew each other but this random dudes comes in and gets to be intimate with her before 3 of the other main guys do. It just didn’t feel organic (said like Kourtney Kardashian IYKYK)
I read this second installment of the Forever After Crimson series as an ARC read and very much enjoyed the new take on vampire nature and how it intertwines with the magic of the land.

Gweneira and her sexy dwarves survive the attack of the queen, Melisandre, with help from a source they all thought was long gone, destroyed by the queen and her minions. Unfortunately, they will be of no help in the return to Gweneira's kingdom through the ever changing and malevolent Wild Lands. While Gweneira is carried through the forest the men are realizing just how treacherous and deadly the forest has become. Gweneira has to wonder if she can convince her people, who think she murdered her father, that she is the lesser of two evils, and that she and her men are the only ones standing between her evil stepmother and the darkness the queen invited into their world. This is an absolutely fascinating retelling of the classic fairytale Snow White. The characters are well written, and unique. "Snow White" and the men in her life continue to explore their relationship in some very steamy, and deliciously dirty interactions. Some exciting action, magic, dark shadowy creatures, and unexpected twists in the plot make this a must-read dark paranormal romance. I highly recommend this book to other readers.

Wow… just wow. This is book 2 and it has hints of Snow White and the 7 Dwarves but is sooo sooo much more.
Gwyneria .. a princess and more.
7 Men who offered her shelter when she fled the queen…
Ozias, Roan, Niko, Dex, Clay, Byron and Lars. Each a massive man … built like giants and all willing to share 🥹. Well… at least the men willing to admit they want/need her.
Then there’s Casimir..unlike them and more like her. Someone with the same needs as her and also willing to share.
Then the story … I mean we have a wicked stepmother, a plot began when Gwyneira was just a babe. Wars, witches, wild magic and evil … the need to save a nation but will they want to be saved by her?
I can’t wait for book 3 … I really need to know if the remaining three stubborn @ss men finally show their true selves ….

Gwyneira was victorious with the help of her seven dwarves but now she has changed into a new being by her step- mother and have to navigate what that would mean for her. There are new challenges and truths to discover that has been buried during the wars. Although the step- mother was defeated new enemies emerge. This was all very interesting and well written. It took me a mo ent to understand the jargon of this world but definitely worth it.

GWYNEIRA is just a baby when her mother is killed by a dark witch. Melisandre fed her blood to bind her to her. Years later the plan that Melisandre had put into place is being enacted. But the huntsman who was sent to kill her lets her live. Now she's with seven dwarfs (giants who aren't tall) and she is drawn t6o all seven. The fight is on to save them and her. Who will win? Such heart stopping action it will leave the reader breathless.

I loved the first book and this second one has plenty more action, danger and steam as Gwyneira and her seven dwarves face new challenges and truths. A thrilling, spicy read.

I read the first installment of this series, and it was alright. Probably because nothing really happens as we're still getting acquainted to the characters as the story progresses.
But man, things took a turn for the worse in this second installment. From a random male character joining the harem breaking the illusion of the "seven dwarves" to random mm scenes with no build up and with no heads up from the author.
I'll dive into the details and explain what I found as issues:
#𝟭.) 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗷𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗺
I normally have no issues when female leads gain a harem throughout the series and have no issues with new male leads being introduced. But I think I found it an issue in this book due to the fact that the rest of the MLs have known each other for nearly 6 years and bonded through shared emotional trauma. Whereas, this new addition to the harem completely comes out of nowhere and essentially feels like an outsider compared to the rest. It also doesn't help that there were references to 7 in the first book, which makes things feel even more isolating for the new male lead.
I think my opinions would be different if the other male leads weren't as familiar with each other as they are or if the female lead met some of them later on. Because, I just think it makes for an awkward situation to establish this bond between the male leads and then have only ONE who is isolated out of that.
Bonds can obviously be built and forged along the way. I don't expect EVERY character to be friends right off the bat. But, still......
I understand that the author wants to focus on character development, as at least 2 of the 3 male leads seem to be dealing with trauma. I also understand the appeal of the angst behind it, as they want the fl but have been denying themselves since the first book.
BUT, it just bugs me that while these characters have been going through it and are denying themselves of what they want, a dude can just come in, easily join the harem, call the fl his "fucktoy", and easily have sex with her. 😐 Things were made 10000x worse when one of them seemed to feel insecure and saddened that the fl wanted to be with the new ml in his pov......
Like, are you serious.....😑 That pissed me off and made me feel sorry for that ML.
As someone who isn't into MM in WC, imagine my surprise when I got to the part where the new addition to the harem sticks it(🍆) in Dex (the "leader" of the MLs) as Dex is in the fl to "feel him f*cking her".
Can't say I'm surprised, because it's becoming a habit for WC authors to not tag their books appropriately or give the proper warnings. All I can say is I'm disappointed, because I feel cheated with the time I've invested reading........
I don't care if other people enjoy and like reading mm in WC, because I understand that people have different reading preferences and that's great. But not everyone is a fan, and I'm sick and tired of authors not taking this into account.
People are literally paying and investing time to read these stories. The best thing authors can do is to be decent enough to have the appropriate tags and heads up so readers can decide for themselves if they want to read or not.
I love this retelling of Snow White. Sierra gives a twist to the fairy tale that I love. The plot is very unique and leaves you on the edge of your seat waiting breathlessly for what will happen next. I love the characters! Both the book and characters are well written. I can easily relate to them. Sierra has an amazing imagination and pulls her readers into the story as if we are there and participating. I love her writing style and can’t wait for book 3.
