In a beta-ruled world where betas are sterile, the breeding of alphas and omegas is strictly controlled.
Silver lives in the Hall of Alphas, a fancy prison where alphas, considered dangerous by society’s standards, live out their sad lives while donating weekly quotas of semen to the world’s breeding programs via milking machines.
Tobin, a sensitive beta, works as a fluffer, someone who helps keep alphas with various sexual dysfunctions aroused for the milking machines so they can properly knot and meet their quotas.
Normally, omega heat scents piped into milking rooms are enough to send an alpha into rut, but when Silver loses his sense of smell and can’t knot, he is sent to the infirmary where he becomes Tobin’s responsibility.
A waaay more than professional relationship ensues.
MM romance, novella, first time, forced breeding programs, knotting, milking machines, high heat, a surprise bond, HEA.

A tiny bit of omega smut. Or at least that's what I thought. Somehow this short story was in the wrong folder. I put it under smut because the TWs clearly state: forced breeding, knotting, milking machines … And yes, it is, but at the same time it's a pretty adorable story and neither the alpha character nor the beta/omega character are typical and yes the initial situation is not good, but what develops between them is true love and the author manages to create a fitting atmosphere in the few pages and made me believe in them and empathize with them. Nevertheless, please pay attention to the triggers, because I, for example, am not a fan of slavery in any form whatsoever and get a stomach ache every time. That's why it took me a while to read this. But since I'm having a weird week, it was a good fit. And luckily for me, my anxiety was greater than the book was terrifying. But yes, there is also enough smut in there.
He was magnificent and should never have been brought down to this level in my opinion. He looked like a great king, a healthy, virile alpha, and yet he sat before me all in white on a milking bed, all his muscles and will and inherent power slackened, diminished. 🥺💔🥺
“Oh my, oh!” Silver yelled. Thick cream started to fill my mouth. I drank it down hungrily, not caring about anything in that moment but getting more, getting it all. I was thirsty for him. Had been for weeks in my forced denial. And now, coming off the longest heat I’d ever experienced in my life. I wanted this man. He was mine. He was for me and I was for him. Why and how and when it had happened didn’t matter. It was a truth between us and that was that. 🤤🔥🤤

Minor spoilers probably ahead

Content warnings: a kind of slavery where all alphas are kept as prisoners and milked for their seed, omega heat, infertility Cheating between MCs: No Other person drama: No Breakup: No Kinks: knotting
Another entertaining addition to this series, but way too short and choppy. I wanted the relationship build-up and I would have liked Silver's point of view too. An epilogue would also have been nice. But the bones of the story were great. We can hope that she'll expand it one day.
Once again some niggles made my brain trip up. Why was Silver in a different type of garment, than any other Alpha in the establishment? His had fastenings down the front. Every other alpha we've met has had velcro sides, so they could come off without unchaining the wearer. And I simply cannot believe that there would be no cameras inside the infirmary bay. Nope. No way. There are supposedly cameras everywhere else, but not there? I don't believe it.
Another Omegaverse short story, with a vaguely humourous situation. Silver, a captive Alpha, solely used for his semen, loses his sense of smell, so cannot get aroused enough to produce semen when subjected to the omega smell (which is supposed to "do it" for him). Enter Tobin - a fluffer - with obvious results HA!! Lots of forced orgasms, a milking machine, AND a mate bond between the two :) Silly nice!
I wish this had been a bit longer and gone a bit further with the characters and the storyline. All Alphas are taken to The Hall and held captive by betas. They are milked of their seed everyday. Tobin is a fluffier that helps those that need more stimulation. He falls for Silver and Silver for him. Did they have a happy life? Have children?
Kinky little medical play short with a “fluffer” who aides an alpha in getting aroused enough to be milked.
Looks like there are full length novels in this universe, but I can rarely get into the almost inevitable mpreg side of omegaverse stories. This was just kink … and love in the strangest of circumstances.
Brief novella , part of a series, featuring Tobin a "fluffer" and an alpha Silver. Dystopian alt-world, a relationship built, a risky change effected. Story is complete for its length and pleasing.
I loved this unique look into what else was happening in this world. I thought it was nice to see the roles be a little different and how this world handles situations when things aren’t going perfectly. Great addition to this world.
Don't Miss Silver's Story. This is a MAGNIFICENT Novella and another great addition to this wonderful series!!! This is a series that is like no other currently out!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK AND THIS CAPTIVE ALPHAS SERIES!!!!!
It was way too short. Hopefully the authors decides to turn it into a full length book at some point. We needed to see the relationship develop as well as how their escape turned out.
