Jesse Leigh Murray lives and works in the Pacific Northwest, which is basically made for readers and writers. After spending a decade writing horror and dark fantasy under another name, she is overjoyed to finally be focusing on her true passion: cozy mysteries. Never saw that ending coming!

Even better than the first Maddie mystery, this book just kept me guessing until the very end. I love a good mystery, but I absolutely love all the curve balls thrown in to keep me glued to the page trying to figure out whodunnit! This one was much more emotional than the first one and gave the characters so much more depth and interest. I absolutely enjoyed reading it.
