I was intrigued before starting this book only for the reason that it is a million sold book but I do not enjoy reading it. The book does not have a capability to grip the reader and stage after stage, chapter after chapter I was searching for the reason why this book had been written. The author tried to mold a motivational lesson via story but some how he could not create a euphoria for the reader.
Best Line of a book is :
You don't know what you don't know.
Overall I thoroughly not enjoyed and hence giving it a 1 Star.
Note: I could not find the version where it was just the main character's story of meeting the greatest networker(s)
I didn't enjoy this book as much because I had already read the Power of Habit by Charles Huhigg. The concepts of your habits and your beliefs shaping your life did not sound new because of this. This books seemed like a nice story of a man discovering a mentor to teach him these concepts about habits and beliefs - which is the part I enjoyed. Perhaps this was because I listened to this as an audiobook.
I loved reading this book! Putting powerful principles into story form made them very real and actionable for me. It helped me recognize how many mentors are available to me now and how to open myself to contribution and association.
It provided me the bridge between believing in the principles and believing them, so they show up in my way of being and in my resulting actions.
If you feel stuck read the book. If you lack direction, read the book. If you want more power in your relationships, read the book. In it you will find keys to greater power and mastery over the circumstances of your life.
It's been quite some time since I posted a review. This book was such a pleasant read that I had to say so. What the author teaches and how he teaches it makes it so easy to understand. I believe it is a good idea not only for network marketers to read, it is good for anyone considering it to read as well. The insight and lessons are incredible!
first off, I would just like to say I could write this book in a month simply by going to a random coffee shop in any major city and asking random people how they turned from poor to successful using network marketing.
Disappointing read for a get rich quick scheme. 1 star because i truthfully got little to no value out of this book.
I learned that you should be constantly asking questions about someone. It was also interesting to learn about how it's about doing what you learned instead of just what you learned. There was also a new mindset that I wasn't used to, which was about how binary success is.
Говорит о банальных вещах МЛМ-бизнеса, отрицая интернет. Есть некоторые толковые советы. Но вообщем книга больше похожа на насмешку над теми, кто не смог преуспть в этом бизнесе! Как можно быть таким несдержанным?!
If you liked this book in any way, then you guys will REALLY LOVE "Life's Golden Ticket" by brendon burchard ( my review of that book too can be found in profile and reviewed bookshelf)
Reason I recommend that is because it's a more universal and in-depth broad spectrum of self help and success metaphors like this book - but without it being geared towards network marketing
Other than that I'd still recommend this book either way... as great inspiration of any kind is welcome food for my brain anytime :) - but not as immense as some people have made this out to be...yet the principles are worth repeating regardless how many times we have heard them and not ground braking
.. I was wondering if anyone knew if this book is based on a true story? ... To Our Continued Success! Seemy www.Waseem.tv/Blog

This book is an enjoyable read about the often misunderstood and disrespected industry of network marketing. Personally, i've got a aversion towards this industry as well and the recent boom of this industry put in search of answer out of curiosity and a dream to own my own business. Hence, i was recommend this book and i took it to heart and found that this business is just like any other business out there and the logical person-to-person approach really have more impact on creating not only loyal consumers but long-term partners and residual income.
The book opens with a very common story of a beaten down person ready to quit his network marketing business and what follows after that is a meeting that would change his life forever. Without revealing too much of details here i would really recommend whoever that's interested, curious, or have ANY questions with regards to HOW network marketing can be a vehicle to realize their dreams and ambition to pick up this book and really study and practice the principles behind it.
A quick read, but here are some good pointers about having a team with you: 1) Number one teach people to have fun 2) Teach people have the skill to succeed 3) Help people to develop and grow. 4) Win when you can.
But interestingly when you do 1,2 and 3. 4 will come naturally. Because when you are having fun in the game of life, and able to impart with a new knowledge to your team mates and they benefit from it and do grow and develop themselves. You may lose that match, but you have won their hearts. In the long run that's more important.
And like the imagination that has helped you visualize what it comes to be.. as I believed when you write something, and really believe it, with all your convictions, and also act it out, it will come true.
It completely changed my perception of life. Really astonishing. It's about a Networker not having any success in is network marketing business, that decides to drop out after this last event he is going to attend... and them something remarkable happen's: he is "touched" by The Grateast Networker in the World who invites him to go to his house the day after, so he can learn on how to be successfull. It's mostly based in very simple dialogs and espiritual stories. A must.
And after being invited to the authors house to get to know him, I can tell you that this book is REALLY A MUST! Really.
the story is interested to read... give a spirit to success... since 2 years ago i want to read it, but i just stay in "want" to buy, until i bought it for my boyfriend... and i read it before i gave him hehehe... a good story that everyone should read...
Advice for network marketers, like knife-salesmen and Amway, presented into an exciting narrative. Some of the characters are so good, this could be a movie, even though the profession behind the book is so commonly disrespected.
This book started out pretty good and had promise but it's basically a book about visualization ... if you want a house, picture yourself in the house, etc. So it definitely wasn't what I was expecting so I was disappointed.
