Okay so I mean the idea was there. I feel like I've said that recently for another book as well lol.
I was a bit quick and they said fake dating a lot, I got tired of it. They were cute together though.

Storyline was good, although it was nothing new. It was very repetitive…there was no need to say “fake dating” that many times. I would have liked the characters to be more developed and for Logan not to fall in love with Nora on like the second page. What the heck…it’s like they came off the elevator and he fell in love. It was never fake for him supposedly…

It was definitely a cringy read, but it’s great if you’re stuck somewhere and need to be entertained.

Also, lotsss of grammatical errors. Lots of commas in wrong places. Yikes

An okay - clean romance. Felt almost written by AI. The conversations and some phrasing was clunky.

This sweet, clean book is a workplace/office, fake dating romance about Vice President, Logan and researcher, Nora who both work at Coltech. They meet for the first time one evening at the lift when she runs into Logan and the CEO, Harold. Logan somehow introduced Nora as his girlfriend to the boss without her having even spoken to Logan.
They get together to discuss the situation and find out they can help each other. Nora has debts that she has to pay off after making some foolish investments and Logan is after the company's top job but he has to appear more stable and family orientated, hence needing Nora's help.
So they embark on a fake relationship but somehow both become very invested in the other, there is instant chemistry and their relationship starts feeling very real.
This was a charming read with endearing characters and such romance between these two. Logan was a really caring man and completely the opposite of what Nora thought he would be like. Nora is very smart and beautiful but is a bit insecure with men and she cannot believe that someone like Logan would really like her.
The book was well written and I didn't want to stop reading their story. It was a heartwarming read which has a bonus chapter if you subscribe to the author's newsletter.
This is a clean story as there is no swearing and this book only describes kissing.

Wtf did I just read?
The fact that some thing are contractions and most are was irritating.

Some lines from the book
*I shake my head. “I think that is all. Don’t be nervous. Things will be fine.”
*Once I am inside, I need to pay attention to her. I don’t want Nora to feel left out or out of place.
*Nora blushes. I love making her blush. She looks so adorable when she blushes.

Fake dating is mentioned an obscene amount of times. (89)
They are supposed to do this for 6 months, because of the CEO has a proposition for the 2 VPs before they can take over as CEO. (Which all employees fear) Which will require them to do a few things to show they are worthy. Most of the book takes place within 2 weeks and the only thing that required is to have a casual lunch with the board members.

The entire fake relationship reads as if they are teenagers who've never been in a relationship. "He held my hand, omg, im in love" im all for clean romances, but this is on a different level. There's barely any real dialog of substance. And in the end everyone quits anyway.

Not sure if it rates the four stars I gave it. I assume the author is from the UK - this is just personal, because I cringe when I'm reading a story taking place in the US , but Logan or Nora are using the lift! We ride in elevators in the states. There are other British phrases. Please double check your usage with American words. The story was okay, but there was no depth, no real conversations, and when people spoke it was stilted. And use contractions; when we talk we usually use I'm, I'll, we've, you've, etc.

Cute story but felt like it ended suddenly. The story line was just picking up for me and I was getting into the adversity of the book when it ended abruptly. Enjoyed the writing style tho. Will be reading more from. this author.

It was mid, not good but not terrible.

The book was very fast paced. I finished in four days , its more wattpad vibes than an actually book. I didn’t hate it but it was fast paced and i wish to not read a book like this again.

This was an easy read for me with genuine romance ❤️ I really enjoyed reading this and seeing the characters evolve.
Couldn’t stand James as a character so intrigued to see what is to come next

I understood the idea but not a single plot point was developed. It was all very rushed and felt like a rip off of the love hypothesis

contemporary romance

I enjoyed how much I wanted the couple to get together. The author built up the tension between the two.
