To be honest the whole M/M and M/F/M scene is not really my thing as such when I was approached by the author to provide a honest review I was a bit skeptical. However, I decided to move past my skepticism and give the book a try and I am so glad I did as I would have missed out on what I believe is a great start to a brand new and exciting series. I am impatiently waiting for the next book in the series.

The story flowed and was easy to follow. It was told from 3 POV's which personally for me helped me to better connect with each of the characters. I was able to understand every emotion they were experiencing.

Rock the Viper is a very hot and sizzling read about love, jealousy and betrayal and I would recommend to readers who love this type of story.
Please don't wait too long to get your copy as you won't regret it.

I was given an ARC copy of Rock The Viper for my honest review.

I honestly enjoyed this book if I could give it a 4 1/2 I would. I do want to say this book is a M/F/M. I loved the love triangle between Peppa, Juan and Noah. This story is told by three different points of views each one telling their own side of the story where you could understand each one's feelings but I also found their to be times it was a repeat of what I just read a few pages before. It was a fast pace read it drew you in right from the beginning and made you want to turn page after page to see what was going to happen next. I was reading and concentrating so hard on the story and what was happening I didn't realize I was at the end of the book. This book has a cliff hanger and I cant wait to read what happens in the next book. Sammie J is a new author and I think she has a lot of talent and I cant wait to read book 2 in this series. Well done Sammie J

This was such an interesting set up for a story, but the narrative ruined it for me. I couldn't finish it.

The story is written in alternating first person narrative, but each chapter goes back from the same point in time so we read the same scene three times. Drove me completely nuts.

Shame because the concept of rock star vampires was a new one and I really liked the idea of 'entwining' for life with one - or in their case, two - committed mates.

To make matters worse, this was peppered with inconsistencies (the vampires can read minds one minute, but the next they're pondering who could've done something), spelling errors and mixed tenses.

A decent editor could probably salvage a decent story from this, but I've got too many good stories lined up on my kindle to waste any more time on this. Sorry.

So here's the thing, usually I'm very certain on what I want to see in a book. I don't read rock star type books anymore as it seems to have been done to death and they all started sounding really similar. Ugh. I like my female characters to be uber strong, take no nonsense from anyone type of people. I hate cliffhangers with the passion of a thousand burning suns, and avoid books written in British English as the accents tend to bug me. With that in mind I wasn't 100% sure exactly how I would feel about this book and was almost reluctant to read it. I'm now here in the interest of public awareness to implore you all, do not make my mistake!! This was an utterly amazing read. Although the book does have a rock band, it is in no way typical to any other I have come across. It is so totally unique and I loved every minute of it. It really got under my skin, one of those books that when the real world intruded and I unfortunately had to put my kindle down (shock horror!) I couldn't stop thinking about it. I was wandering about wondering what was coming next, how would it all play out? I couldn't wait to get back to it and find out for myself. I loved the characters, Peppa although not the strong no-nonsense type I usually prefer was brilliant, I loved her 'voice' and she often had me laughing out loud with her comments. She did tend to run at the first sign of trouble but it really didn't affect her appeal for me and it honestly wasn't actually until I'd finished the book that I realised it was even happening. As for the men in the book ,there are several and each one is hotter than the last (trust me, I saw the pinterest board) In order to keep this spoiler free though I'm not actually going to go into any detail about the males in the book. If you like hot alpha males you really need to read it though. The story is told in alternating POV's which I loved as you could then experience the scene more fully. It was easy to follow and a quick read. With this being the authors debut book I can only see good things in the future, onwards and upwards as they say and I think Sammie J. is going to be one to watch in 2014. :)

Congratulations to Sammie J on her first book which was a good read. I love paranormal romances and this one has a great beginning. Sexy vampire Juan, and super sexy human, Noah are both in love with Peppa, who is also human. This combination leads to some strange conversations, bits of jealousy, hot steamy sex scenes and of course some heartbreaking moments. There's also some suspense with a little guess whodunit. A little something for everyone.

The story flows along well and I am looking forward to the next book in the series. There is a cliffhanger and I think the next book will get into the meat of the new boy band "Vipers" .

This was a great read by new Author Sammie! This book is held in 3 POVS sense it is a story about a threesome! I really loved the flow of this book and that we did get all the main characters POV. I will let you know though that it does end in a cliffy so beware but ohhh so good! If you enjoy a hot read.. with some M/F/M action this is your book! I did feel that the Male POVs could have been shortened a tad as it did get repetitive after getting all the scoop in the females POV but I did like reading what they thought at the time also! I cant wait for this to come out and I cant wait for book two!! What a HOT HOT HOT READ!

This was an interesting read, it is written in three POV's. What did I love about this book?
It was an emotional rollercoaster, I spent the whole book either hating or loving one or other character. I confess that I did imagine awful ways to kill off one of the characters, I did not realise that I was capable of such violence.
But this does say something for how this author can describe her characters and how you get pulled into the story.
Again this is a well written story, very emotional and has moments of pure joy and next thing many tears.
Very excited to read the next story to see where this very sexy love triangle is going.

This book was one of those one-click “I really shouldn’t have but I’m really glad I did” treats.

Returning to earth after a total book hangover, I needed something which was an easy read and a return to sanity fix and Rock The Viper fitted the bill perfectly.

Yeah, I love my band-based books and yeah, I love my paranormal books so this for me was probably a no brainer but still, I really loved the concept of rock stars who are vampires.

Written from three different POVs, the story is told from the eyes of Peppa, an internet café owner; Noah, Peppa’s roommate’s brother and owner of Devil Records; and *swoon* Juan, a drummer and vampire with the band Viper. The concept of three POVs for me worked well but at times the story was taking a few too many steps backwards before moving on, but that is literally my only criticism and possibly the reason I have given this book a 4/5* and not more.

In an attempt to refresh her relationship with her boyfriend, Peppa has one of those, oh no I really shouldn’t have done that moments, and as a result splits up with her boyfriend, and employee of Devil Records, Jacob. In order to help her to move on, Peppa’s friends take her out to where Viper are playing. Seeing Jacob across the bar, Peppa is keen to avoid another confrontation but instead finds herself talking to Noah and soon starts to see him in a new light. Having upset her a long time ago, Peppa has always disliked Noah but she starts to change her mind, that is until Juan strolls up and suddenly the three of them find themselves experiencing a WTF moment.

My body ignites for this man I don’t care anymore what this thing is between us, I’m ready to embrace it, to give myself over to these feelings.

The story progresses with Noah, Juan and Peppa coming to terms with their feelings for one-another but Jacob has other ideas though and is not keen to let Peppa go without a fight.

The rest of Viper are as equally dee-lish and you are drawn to Cruz and Saul as much as you are to Juan but Juan is the ultimate alpha male in this story and even the man-whore who is Noah finds himself out of his depth and experiencing feelings he has not felt before.

Don’t ever doubt what I feel for you is real, I may not be human, but I feel like one, my humanity still exists. Yes I need blood to live and my heart no longer beats, but I’m not a monster.

As the author says, this book has M/F/M & M/M loving which was an additional treat for those who like these books. The storyline was well written though and believable and natural, well apart from Juan being a vampire, and although I can sometimes be put off such books, this for me was extremely well written with the sexiness of the relationships not overpowering the storylines at all.

If this is what hell feels like then send me straight there.

This book did end on a forewarned cliffie though but the good news is the author has confirmed that the next book is in the pipeline, which is such a relief because I need so much more from Viper.

Finally, I loved that this book was written in British English, such a welcome change.

REVIEW
This book is written in POV so for some that may not be good but I have to say..This book was FANTASTIC..
In this book we have Peppa, Noah and Juan. There lives become tangled together.

Peppa has just recently broken up with Jacob her boyfriend of about 10 months because he simply has no time for her. He works non stop for Devil Records. Noah is the Owner of Devil Records and is Peppa’s roommate Lara’s brother. He hurt Peppa when they were about 14 yrs old and she has never really forgiven him. Lara whom is Peppa’s roommate and her best friend Monica decide they all need a night out and Noah’s is having some big party to show off the new band who just signed with Devil Records Viper . Of course they didn’t’ tell Peppa that Jacob would be there . While up at the bar Peppa runs into Noah and Juan and when they all three get pushed up close to each other and touch something electric goes off. No one is sure what it means . They all three begin to know each other and in that they also must now protect Peppa and Noah’s sister from whom they don’t know yet.
They are a 3 some !! They are Entwined !!

This book is freaking HOT !!! if you don’t like the m/m/f and m/m thing then It may not be for you but it is well written .. There is Great Action, Great Passion and just HOT !!!

this was a bit disappointing ... or to be precise, more than a bit.

Normally I love different POVs but here the execution was not really well done. I like to see what the characters think, not their renarrating the events like they are not involved. it took a lot away from the events, which were happening.

I was also not happy with the characters: Peppa started out as a nice person but at the end she was a bit annoying for me.
Juan was a very smooth character - I was missing the edges of someone, who is that old.
Noah was my favorite and it literally hurt, that his POV was so badly done

also, there was no real development in the relationship. ...

so all in all, it was not what I hoped for and it was not even that good, which was disappointing as it could have been good

Boy, I wish I could have been a fly on the wall for all those sex scenes. How can one person love and be loved by two? That is the question. This does have a cliffhanger ending but it is worth the wait for the next book.

Oh, Sammie J! How could you do this to me? A cliffhanger ending that I was NOT expecting! I mean, I knew there was going to be a cliffhanger, but not like that!! But I did enjoy the book that preceded it! This is an interesting read. A little ménage action, a little suspense, a little rock n’ roll and a little paranormal all rolled into a story about three people with a crazy intense connection. There’s a little drama with exes, a little drama with family members and at the center of it all are three characters that I actually liked. Noah is just perfect to me. He never pushes for too much in a situation and the way he cares for everyone is really endearing. Not to mention, he’s a hot music promoter. Peppa is a little weak for a heroine, but I think she has reason to be and I like her anyways. I also like that she actually speaks up and talks about what upsets her instead of allowing for more misunderstandings. Now, onto Juan. He’s a rock star and a vampire. Yum. I likey and I wish I was Peppa. Being the filling in a Noah-Juan sandwich sounds heavenly. I am intrigued to see where things go for Viper, and for the other band members. I will definitely be picking up the next installment in this series. I need to know how things are going to pan out after that doozy of an ending.

I would give this book 3.5/4*. I did enjoy it and i was drawn into the characters' lives although it took a little while for me to get into it but once i did i really enjoyed it!

I was surprised at finding out a certain bit of info about the band but i won't say what it was, don't want to spoil it! Was a good surprise though!

It was told from the three main characters' POV's, Noah, Juan and Peppa's. I like this and the way it is done but sometimes i found it was a bit repetitive because they would go over the same part of the story from all of their POV's. It did help to see what else has happened while they are on their own or with others though but i didn't think the repetitiveness was necessary all the tie.

There were definitely a lot of HOT scenes in this which really makes oyu have to fan yourself!! lol The ending is a cliffhanger and OMG i need to know what happens next!

Overall a good first book by this author and I will definitely be reading the next one when it's out!

I was given this book by author Sammy J for an honest review. This is book 1 of the series from the author.

Peppa was not satisfied with her boyfriend because his work always came first and she is fed up with it and him. Noah is a hard working ladies man but after 1 night in a bar his life changes so he only wants 1 woman in his life, Peppa. Juan is the sexy drummer for the group Viper and holds a dark secret from everyone but he wants Peppa and Noah in his life and in his bed.

This is no ordinary erotic paranormal romance book because it is told from the POV of Peppa, Noah and Juan. At first it was a little confusing the keep switching around but once I got into it more I could not put the book down and I had to finish it. I was that pulled into the story and into the 3 main characters.

This book has mystery, hurt, anger, jealousy, romance, sex and vampires a must for any erotic paranormal romance reader. Because of the M/F/M and M/M sexual situations this book is for mature readers.

I give this book 5 Stars out of 5 and I can not wait to read book 2

First let me say, The cover is HOT!
I really liked the three POV, it really let's you get to know Peppa, Noah & Juan with whom I just fell in love with.
A three some is hot, but make one a vampire and it becomes HOT HOT HOT! And it wasn't all sex, there is an amazing story line with twisting plots that keep you guessing. I was sure knew who the perpetrator was, not only was I off by a mile but I was jaw dropping shocked by who it was...I never saw that coming. Then the person I originally suspected did become a danger to Noah and Peppa...So then it seems like things are finally gona work out for our happy trio and BAM, POW, ZAP!!!!!Holy cliffhanger Batman.....The next installment can't get here soon enough for me! Well Done.,

Here's the thing, I'm not into the paranormal but I love rock stars. My interest was piqued by a blog and I just had to read this book and thank goodness I did - I loved this book!

The story is a 3 POV and though some sections were repetitive it was interesting hearing each characters take on the emotional situations. The interactions between Juan, Noah and Peppa are seriously hot. The whole story appealed to me especially the vampire twist. The whole story was an emotional rollercoaster culminating in a truly hideous cliffhanger. I'd gone straight to buy the next one only to find it is not out until later in the year! Arrgghhh!

I loved the story, I really did. I always get excited about multiple POV books because I love the different perspectives but I found this a bit of slog to get through after I got about halfway in. With every exact scene written x3 one after another, it moved too slow for me but I did enjoy the characters.

I saw this book circulating on Facebook and absolutely loved the cover! I came over to Amazon to read about it and found lots of 5 star reviews. I have to say though that the few 1 and 2 star reviews are what piqued my interest and made me want to one click to read it. I've never read a vampire novel before and was somewhat skeptical. I was thinking bloody, killing and violence. Boy was I wrong!!!
The characters were amazing. Peppa was such a tenacious beautiful young lady who had just been unbridled from a controlling unromantic relationship. She fell into a rekindling with Noah, a handsome friend who she had known for years and the both of them had long suppressed their feelings of attraction. That developing relationship had me from the get-go. The sexual tension as they fought their feelings had me saying "Come on..Just do it!. .would you two????" More about that later....
Enter the hot rocker band Viper and the hot, sensual, beyond sexy band member named Juan...who just happens to be a vampire. (He could bite me any day). When these three touched bodies in a club, they became 'entwined'. I wasn't sure about that until I read farther into the book. The relationship between the three of them was hot, it was filled with desire and it was filled with love. I could feel the emotion that passed between them. Juan could read their thoughts and it was magical.
I learned that a vampire was not necessarily a violent, blood sucking person. Juan was quite different from that! I don't want to give away any spoilers, but suffice it to say, the sex was hot between the three of them when it finally happened.
As for the point of views, I found several readers turned off by this. I can honestly say that this is what I needed to connect with the characters. Since the relationship was a threesome, I personally needed to get to know each character in a very intimate way. This was a very emotional threesome and while the scenes may have seemed redundant to some readers, if you truly read the book you would see that each scene, from a different character's POV was indeed different. You got to read and feel what that character was feeling. I felt this totally connected me with them and made me feel each gripping emotion and sexual desire. When the three of them finally got together, sparks literally flew. You wait for this to happen, knowing eventually it would and then when it did, it was epic.
Now, about the entwining and the true vampire thing, I feel this will come out in the next book. Juan held back his desire to taste human blood and fed on animals. I have a feeling that will change and I'm anxious to read the next in the series. Oh and did I mention Sammie J left us with a cliff hanger???? Naughty Naughty! Now we HAVE to read the next book! Well written and I can honestly say I'm a vampire virgin no longer:) Five stars to you !

I could not put this book down! Sammie J has a way with words, especially the words of love and lust!! She brought these characters together in a very realistic way with a touch of magic. I love her use of the "Point Of View" style. Each of the main characters told the story/scene as it happened to them. It let me get into the heart and soul of each character!! Sammie's description and use of everyday language really stands out. She is down to earth as she tells the story from all points of view. I am truly bewitched with Juan. I've always had a thing for guys with long hair! As you read more about him, you can't help but fall in love. Juan's despair and worry over losing his loves made my heart hurt. I wanted to give him a hug and tell him it will be okay.
Please consider Sammie J. as your next author of choice. I am (im)patiently waiting for the next book in the series. I'm sure it will be another HOT read from her. Thank you Sammie for bringing me into the Viper world. It's refreshing to read a book with a great plot, sinful sex, and a kaleidoscope of heartfelt emotions! Keep rocking my literary world!!

Well, this is an interesting one to review. First of all...Surprise..it's a PRN! I had no clue until part way in to the story. Not that I minded and PNR but it was just unexpected. I liked Peppa, Juan and Noah and their story was good but I wasn't thrilled about the way the multiple PoVs was done. This is the first story I've read by this author and since this is a cliffhanger I already planned to read book #2 as well. Past that I"m not sure if I'll read more of her work because of the whole PoV thing.

Peppa is co-owner of a coffee shop with her friend Lara. Her and Lara are roommates as well and Peppa has a love/hate relationship with Lara and with the way Lara acts I wonder that there's any love in there at all (Lara is horrible!) but they have history. When the story begins, Peppa was dating a guy named Jacob but when he spent too much time ignoring her for work she got pissed and broke up with him. Unfortunately, once she dumped him, Jacob decided he didn't like it and now is acting all weird and jealous and is trying to get her back.

Noah is Lara's brother and Peppa's hated him since they were teens. He doesn't know what he did to piss her off but he finds her attractive...even more so when she breaks up with Jacob. Noah and Jacob work together at a record label and they've recently signed a new band that looks to be the next big thing.

Juan is the drummer for an up and coming rock band named Viper. His brother, Saul and friend, Cruz, are in the band with him and they're concentrating on making it big and hiding what they are. This wont be easy since they're vampires and being a star will put them in the lime light.

The story begins with Peppa dumping Jacob and then fast forwards to a few months later. Peppa is going out with Lara and another friend to catch Viper's show. Noah is there and Peppa isn't thrilled to see him and Jacob is there with an escort trying to make her jealous and acting like a jerk. Peppa tries to stay away from Jacob but does end up chatting with Noah. Noah asks why she hates him and surprisingly, Peppa tells him why (an incident where he embarrassed her badly, in front of friends, at the age of 14). While they're talking, Juan comes over to talk to Noah and they get squished a bit by the crowd. This pushes the 3 together and as soon as they all touch there's an electrical current that they all feel that rushes through them. They all feel the connection but are confused by what it could mean. Juan doesn't realize until a few days later (when he can't ingest blood from other humans) that Peppa and Noah and his "entwined" which is basically the vampire's soulmate. It's unusual but in this case it appears that Juan has two and now he has to try to win them and figure out how to tell them the truth about how he is and get them to accept him and not tell his secret.

Noah is rather a man-whore so Peppa isn't happy about the sudden attraction she has for Noah and thinks his interest in her is fleeting and he'll break her heart as soon as she leaves his bed after sleeping with him. She figures the same thing about Juan as he's a rising rock star and could have anyone. Peppa has a bit of an image issue...it seems like it was propagated by her ex, Jacob, and her supposed friend, Lara, who apparently takes to putting anyone down around her whenever they look good. To be honest, I liked Peppa fine but I couldn't stand how she put up with Lara's crap. Regardless of Peppa's attempts to put off her attraction to the men, Juan and Noah manage to work their way in to her life and eventually get her to believe they only want her. It's not easy though as there's much drama and such to deal with along the way, mainly in Jacob and Lara but there's some internal issues between the trio as they try to come together in to a menage relationship. There's a definite Gay-for-you vibe (brought about by the entwining) between Noah and Juan but they only get at far as some kissing in this book. Just as things seem to be working out the story ends in a cliffhanger with Noah unexpectedly missing.

Overall I enjoyed this story. I liked the characters and I thought the story was a good one. The main thing that brought it from a 4 star to a 3 star for me was the way the author did the PoVs. The story is told from all 3 PoVs but I wasn't expecting EVERYTHING to be told from all 3 PoVs. We are constantly sent back a few days in time to see how each of the 3 handles things. I.E. 1st PoV is Peppa and it's rather detailed description of what's going on along with her feelings. Then that's done and we're propelled a day or a few back in time to see the same thing from Noah's PoV...this time a little less detail but still going over the whole thing with his feelings included. Then we're propelled back in time again to see that day (or days) from Juan's PoV...a little less detail but still going over pretty much everything with Juan's feelings included. While I found it interesting to see all 3 PoVs, the constant back and forth in time and seeing the same scenes over and over got rather annoying by the end. I still plan to read the next book though because I liked the story and want to see how things turn out for the trio. :D

This was a good book for a first time author. The story of Rock The Viper is told in 3 point of view and this is my first time reading a book that is written like this, at first it was a little confusing, but then I realized that it was good because you got to know each one of them felt and thought and how they each reacted to different situations that arose. Peppa dumped her boyfriend Jacob because he didn't make time for her, so she goes to a pub to hear a new band with her bitch of a roommate Lara and her friend Monica. Noah her roommates brother and a guy who she has disliked for years, who is a owner of a record label is there to sign the band. Juan is the drummer in the band Viper is also a vampire feels a strange energy and doesn't know what it is about comes face to face with his mates or has he says his entwined one's. This book had some of my favorite things that I love reading vampires, rock stars and ménage. My only compliant is that it was light on the ménage part and even lighter on the M/M/F and I thought it would have been more erotic. The book had a nice flow to it and this trio had a lot working against them, Jacob who did everything to keep Peppa from moving on with Noah. Lara who I would have slapped was selfish who I think took her roommate and business partner for granted and I still can't understand why Peppa didn't stand up for herself. Then their is Juan and the whole I'm a vampire thing having to tell the two people that he is in love with. I also would have liked more backstory about the trio all we get is that Noah and Peppa have know each other for years, overall this was a good story and well written know errors in spelling or grammar. The book does end with a cliffhanger and I am looking forward to reading the next book I hope that there is more erotic and M/M. I would definitely recommend this book.

This book felt excruciatingly long, as each of the 3 lead characters told the story from his/her point of view, at the first person. The main problem was that every one started exactly at the same point of time and went to the same point, so each part of the story all over the whole book was told 3 times. Obviously having different point of view on the same episode could sometimes bring out something new but it often could feel as repetitive. And here, there were too few differences in the narration to make those endlessly recurring repetitions any other than boring. I did not care much for the writing which I found too familiar, though at least the editing and spelling were rather correct. The characters did not manage to take much flesh in my opinion. And the vampire twist that I was not expecting, was definitely not my cup of tea and did not seem to have any special touch.
Considering the cover, I was expecting some hot and steamy scenes. But those were really short and lukewarm at best.
A waste of time in my opinion, which certainly convinced me to steer clear from this author from now on. However it might please other readers and I read worse.

Hmmmm how to review this book? I am not a big fan of Vampires and I probably didn't pay attention when I got the book because I would not read it if I knew it had vampires. Having said that, the book was very good. I enjoy a good menage and even though you don't really get full menage action until book 2 (and just a little bit), I still enjoyed the book. I didn't give 5 starts only because the 3 POV. Its great to get different point of views but about the same passage of the book 3 times was just a bit much for me. I would have enjoyed much more if the 3 points of view were taken with a forward approach not going back to the same passage 3 times.

Have been a while since I read a book that a girl cry so much like Peppa in this book. OMG! if you don't like a crying baby non stop this book is not for you but I would still recommend it. It was well written and with some suspense to spice it.

This story revolves around a MFM triangle but the triangle is a love one. Each playing their own roles and each having their own emotions. This is why the book has 3 different POV. It is not an easy read if you can't keep track of multiple POV in one book. Also keep in mind that there are parts that are repeated within the book but some of it is so that the reader understands that all three individuals involved feel the same way or how they felt about what is going on. Good job. Now off to read book two..... Forever Viper!!!!!
