Ich sag ehrlich es hat mich bis Seite 297 komplett abgeholt. Ich hätte ihm absolut 5 ⭐️ gegeben wären da nicht die letzten zwei Seiten. Das Endkönnte so schön und wholesome sein aber nein es endet völlig unbefriedigend mit einem offenen Ende ohne das es Teil zwei gibt!!!! Es ist mit Witz und viel Liebe zum Detail geschrieben und vermittelt ein sehr schönes Bild auf die Zeit. Natürlich merkt man dass das Buch vor gut 30 Jahren geschrieben wurde, aber es hat mir insgesamt sehr sehr gut gefallen.

Nachdem Ursula Winkler Witwe wurde, wird ihr erst klar, wie stark ihr Mann sie dominiert hat. Alles drehte sich nur um ihn. Aber sie bewundert ihn immer noch. Er war so ein starker Mann. Sie übernimmt die Leitung der Verpackungsmittelfirma. Ein Konkurrent will sie aufkaufen, sie denkt nicht dran. Dann bringt sie aus Versehen einen Mann um. Es bleibt nicht der einzige.

Ich habe dieses Buch gelesen, weil die Autorin in meinem Heimatdorf wohnt. Sie war Journalistin beim Südkurier und wurde zur Bestsellerautorin mit internationaler Leserschaft.
Leider war das Buch viel zu unglaubhaft und hatte auch sonst Mängel.

I was not expecting this
I stole it from my mom and I really enjoyed the reading, its funny and easy to read
but it have so many miss parts
like she killed 2 guys and no one saw the first man's body????!!!
she just killed 2 random guys in the begginning and they just forgot about that
The portagonist urgently needs a therapist, at first I didn't understand if she really loved her husband since the relationship between them was quite disturbing, it seemed like there was a lack of salt and there wasn't enough communication between them, but she always mentioned that she admired her husband comparing always with the men she dated because he was strong and courageous and the others were weak, the first men were a walking green flag and she was so stupid I just wanted to throw a brick at her. and literally, I freaked out at the end, firstly, the book for me only started seriously when she looked through her husband's files and discovered the photos of Winkler cheating on his wife and about the Luxembourg bill and also the prostitute scene and the ending OHMY!!! I always knew that her husband had not died of natural causes, but I had never suspected the detective lol and WORSE what he did to Ursula was really horrible

Whow! I had really big expectations from this book and it didnt disappoint.
I really like how Gaby is writing descriptions. I almost every time do skip these but not in this book.
It had a really good plot twist but the reason i gave this book only 3 stars it’s the ending. I dont really know if i can call this a “spoiler” couse it was an open ending.
It is all about preferences but i really dont like these type of ending. I waited 211 pages and was courious about the end and nothing.
So my advice is, if you arent a fan of opend endings you should think if you want to read this book.💖

Nachdem Ursulas Mann Walter begraben ist, muß sie sich alleine weiter durch's Leben schlagen und die Verpackungsfirma leiten. Oder etwa nicht alleine? Hat Walter immer noch Einfluß auf sie? Und die anderen Männer, die sich einmischen wollen? Nein, bei Ursula handelt es sich um eine emanzipierte Dame, die den Widrigkeiten des Lebens mit eigener enormer Kraft trotzt und lernt, das Leben zu geniessen. Ein Roman oder ein Krimi ähnlich dem talentierten Mr. Ripley.

Ursula als main character wirklich ganz schwer zu graspen. Ihre trockenen und männerhassenden Kommentare waren wirklich amüsant. Mich hat aber echt gestört, dass sie nach einem Mord oder einer Vergewaltigung keine Gefühle zu haben scheint. Es hätte mich gefreut, wenn sie ihn solchen Momenten etwas menschlicher beschrieben worden wäre.

A premissa até parecia interessante, mas rapidamente se tornou uma leitura aborrecida e sem grande sentido. As situações são cada vez mais exageradas e pouco credíveis, e nunca consegui envolver-me verdadeiramente com a história ou com as personagens. Acabei por não terminar o livro.
