I'm more interested in using found items as trellises, but this was a fun flip-through.

With spring a few days away I am longing for a good gardening book. The cover of this one drew me to it.

This book contains numerous color photographs and detailed descriptions of different projects that aren't too unreasonable for most people to do.

I'll admit that the obelisk is a little over my head and that I have never heard of waxed lashing twine. Others are of medium and easier difficulty.

Even if you don't follow the instructions in this book, it will spark some other ideas.

The title would be more accurate if they took for beginners off the end and replaced it with “in a weekend”. They’re not complicated but maybe a bit too difficult for me. Lots of good, useful and simple projects.

As an avid gardener I found this lacked in design skills, too rudimentary for my tastes. It was nice the step by step instructions, but there was not a single design I cared for 😟

This is really geared more toward someone who is handy with building things. It gives specific, pretty simple instructions but it's not something I can do myself.
