I enjoyed it, but I’ve got one big gripe with Harry Styles: A Little Golden Book Biography: it barely talks about his One Direction era. Like… hello? That was an entire cultural moment. You can’t just speed-run through the boy band years like they were a brief internship before his solo glow-up.

And while we’re at it, let’s address the real injustice: the total lack of praise for Niall Horan, the unsung hero and spiritual adhesive of the group. Niall was the glue, the giggles, the guitar, the good vibes. Without him, One Direction would’ve collapsed like a poorly assembled IKEA shelf.

Cute book, but missing the 1D depth I needed. 8/10 — great illustrations, tragic Niall disrespect.

I purchased a copy of this book for placement in my Little Free Library, since I enjoy placing emphasis on people who contribute positivity and good to the world. I really enjoyed reading it myself first, and the illustrations are adorable depictions of Harry, his family and several other celebrities within his circle. The story wasn't really anything I didn't already know, but I look forward to passing the book on for a young fan to enjoy.
