Liana is a Tanzinite who was rejected by her people, because she was born without wings. She lives and works with humans with her heart sisters Tierra and Ranelle. Liana has been claimed by an evil socerer as his mate. On the night the socerer comes to claim her she is kidnapped by Aric, King of Nordain. He is trying to prevent a prophecy from coming true. If Liana mates with the socerer evil will befall his people. He realizes that Liana is his heartmate, but she is forbidden to him. Liana seduces him and ends up becoming his queen. This was a cute erotic fairytale.

First book of the year finished, first book into my 2023 categories
This book starts off straight into the spice, like opening scene. Faster than most smut books.
I couldn’t put it any higher because it kinda felt like the sex/ lusting was getting in the way of the story to be honest.
MC is destined to destroy a whole race if she mates with a man of power 😶
She’s on the run from the evil sorcerer who wants to claim her as his mate to control the kingdoms. The LI is trying to keep MC away so stop from happening. Cut to the forbidden love, as they’re instantly attracted to each other but don’t know about the positive side of the prophecy so they assume they’ll doom everyone. Well he does, she doesn’t know his a king.
Anyway, of course they have sex because this book is too horny for that not to happen. Enter some extremely horny but pro-body, pro-sex, love is love, the more the merrier, sexy and knows it, always naked elves who reveal dun dun dunnnnn she has two paths with the prophecy…and OF COURSE the LI is the right guy for her 🥴

A wonderful story about a young maiden who wants to change her destiny. Liana has it extremely rough, but life is about to change for either the better or the worse....Aric has it hard(yes pun intended), but will he throw it all away for what is Forbidden. Awesome story no spoilers just know your missing out if you don't read this story...a great reminder of just how wonderful writer Cheyenne can be.

I found this book for a dollar at Schulers! My lanta what a steal. I literally picked this up 24 hours ago and was busy during the day. When I had the the I was reading this book. Even true to hunt down a copy of the next book at a local bookstore. (was not there by the way) Anyways, I enjoyed this book very much.

The writing was a little off but I did enjoy the book. I'd have liked to hear more of the actual story and less about how they were in eternal suffering every time he wasn't shoving himself inside her 'quim'.

The plot sounded awesome when I chose this book. That was the ONLY THING good about this book. Every other page was a sexual scene. Not only that but it is a fantasy read. UGH!
