Karma /kahr-muh/, noun: Destiny or fate. Retributive justice. Inevitable consequence.
Unfortunately, the past isn’t finished with Stephen and Camille King. Although they have settled into domestic life raising their precocious twin daughters, Savannah and Sarai, their world is upended when Camille receives threats from an unknown enemy. It is up to Stephen to get to the bottom of it and protect his family from evil intentions no one saw coming. But who has it out for her, and why now?
Amid the shadowy threats made against Camille, a simmering romance unfolds with Aries Langston after her sudden breakup with Bill three years prior. Though Aries is thrilled about her new love interest and their physical chemistry is off the charts, will he be able to let go of his own past hurt and recognize her for the treasure she is? Aries knows she can’t compete with the woman who destroyed his heart and she’s not trying to.
Trent Johnson has led a modest life since he was released from the NFL. His top priorities are co-parenting his spunky teen daughter Portia with his ex, and keeping his distance from a neighbor who seems bent on making his life miserable. But when Portia goes missing, the unforeseen tragedy leaves Trent with more questions than answers.
In As Long As I Hope, the characters—some old, some new—are drawn together by their unflinching resolve to protect and save those they love while teetering on the brink of despair.
Teleah Moore (Scott) is an exceptional storyteller. She is a mother of three, an award-winning author, entrepreneur, and wife from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Brother: A Grief Story; Daddy, Why Did Grandma Leave; Lou, The Grief Dog; and G is for Grief: The ABCs of Coping with Loss are among Teleah's self-published children's books about grief and loss. She also wrote and published a memoir, Free to Grieve: A Mother's Memoir in Black and White, in which she detailed her teenage son's tragic and untimely death. Teleah employs her gift of writing as a powerful witnessing tool to help others overcome life’s formidable challenges. Her messages are centered on faith, hope, healing, and reconciliation.
I'm annoyed...what was that?! First of all, I'm still pissed at Aries because why wouldn't you establish your relationship with Bill and communicate with him about what your career goals were so yall could figure out how to make the relationship work. Then, you go for Gary? Gary?! Sis, please be forreal! Then, to even add Trent and Portia to the story was a stretch within itself. Also, the whole kidnapping thing was just left field and then to have Dre and Swift kidnap them but there wasn't even a true connection with Patrice, it all just felt forced and rushed. 2.5 stars and yes, I'm side eyeing everybody!!!

This last book in the series was dramatic and suspenseful. Camille and Stephen twin girl grown and taken over the household have daddy twisted around their little finger. Their nanny Portia Trents daughter were all kidnapped by Dre and Swift , Dre was Patrice cellmate so she get all the info on the Kings and want a slice of the pie . They demand 10 millions crypto but before anything happen they were caught and all were safe.Aries and Gary became an item, Stephen and Gary make up became friends again but not business partner. It's a lovely read .
this has to be my favourite book of this series. really enjoyed getting back into the world of Stephen and Camille King, they always take us readers on a rollercoaster ride I tell you!
Standout character for this book HAS TO BE ms Portia girl! 🥹😍 her chats with ms Epps throughout this book were some of my favourites! I just love how the author portrays the goodness of God in her books, they are so unique and such great reads!
Happy all the characters got their happy endings 🤍 (even Patrice 🤣)
These whole series was not anything I was expecting. Like idk what I just read to be completely honest. I feel like this series could have been something totally different and had so much hope in the beginning. Some things in the story line were just left field and confusing why it was apart of the book. Things felt all over the place & rushed. I’m honestly confused lol 😅 It has so much potential, but just wasn’t executed in the best way in my opinion.
Camilie and Stephen made enemies that they didn’t even know off, these enemies have concluded that they can’t allow them to enjoy family life with their blessings (the twin) and threaten their safety. An ex-sport man just wants to do right by his daughter and create a lovely home after moving to a new city. This new home happens to be in Aries’s apartment building. His daughter gets entangled with Stephen and Camille’s enemies just because she was in their house at the wrong time do the job they hired to do. Aries get a Second chance at love and the person she is deciding to do love with is a complete shock to Stephen and Camille, but they must learn to accept her decision.
This book was more emotional triggering and more suspense focus which I like
I'm finished! I really don’t understand what I just read. It seems like the author had a bunch of ideas and, instead of creating a new story, packed them all into this one. The Dre and Swift storyline was wild and unnecessary. Aries and her relationship with Bill were so annoying—just talking about their feelings could have fixed everything. And her relationship with Gary? Why not just add another character? I was already over this series after the previous book, but since it was a novella, I stuck with it. I'm just relieved it's over.
Oh my goodness the “Talk To God Series” was great. However, “As Long As I Hope (Talk To God Series - Book 3)” was exhilarating & fantastic‼️WHEW 😅 😮💨‼️I hadn’t anticipated that this book was “Auntie Anne Pretzel” (Sweet & Savory: 🥨 original, cinnamon sugar or jalapeño 💭)😋🤤good. Whichever, Book 3 was unexpected thrills, endearing chills & even HEA hookup (👀😉) plot twisted development type of good 🍿🫣🤭‼️Now, I just want three more…Teleah Moore books & hot pretzels too🤷🏾♀️🤭🤩‼️
I absolutely loved this book it kept me drawn in til the end. And even in the end I want more!! This book has twists ans turns and one of the first books i didnt already know what was gonna happen. Thank you for a great work! Teleah Moore you did an amazing job. Can't wait to read more of your books !!
Although I loved the first two books in the Talk to God Series, "As Long as I Hope" by Teleah Moore needed a trigger warning. The Book dealt with a heavy topic of Kidnapping, and I was completely caught off guard. Even though the book had a happy ending, I felt a trigger warning was needed as this was a shift in the series. I am glad to hear that there is a possible fourth book in the series. I hope it takes a more positive. I would love to see the series focus on Aries and her future!
This one is more suspenseful and dramatic. I enjoyed reading it. I thought I knew what was going to happen or who was the villain, but then I was hit with a curved ball.
A heartfelt story about holding on to hope even when life feels uncertain. Teleah Moore does a beautiful job weaving faith, love, and personal growth throughout the journey. Emotional in all the right ways—uplifting and real.
I enjoyed these first 3 books of the series. I look forward to book 4. The twist & turns kept me on the edge of my seat. But the love, hope, faith, & trust in God remained consistent!
3.5/5 I found the story to be quite engaging, and while it is a novella, I must admit that I would have enjoyed learning more about the characters. I had no idea there's going to be a Book 4, released in December, I can't wait to read it!
Portia was so on fire for God but her approach was so funny with Ms. Epps. I was a detective in book three because who would want to hurt Camille. It had so many twists and turns which I loved. I’m glad Gary and Aries had their happiness and a chance of love.
This was an Excellent read. Great ending to the series and the overall story for each character. I was very pleased with the realness yet grounding in faith!
IT WAS GOOD TO READ THE SERIES AND SEE THE WONDERFUL WORK OF GOD IN ACTION. I would have given up on Stephen in the first series. God's love is amazing
I loved Portia as a new teenage character. Her honesty was refreshing. The blog threats and kidnapping were not what I expected but overall great series!
Stephen’s dirty deeds are still popping up. Somebody wants the King family to pay dearly. Aries is starting to date. I don’t think either guy is worthy of her, but I was leaning towards the other, but decide that both men have issues so it prob doesn’t even matter.
