A spicy, moving, laugh out loud MM, dual POV romcom.

Once upon a time, a boy became so lost in love that he lost himself…

I’d proudly known and loudly declared who I was since the age of twelve. I truly believed no one, not Prince Charming himself, would ever change that… Until he did.

Asher Kim recklessly stole and then dismantled my heart. Left me with nothing but shattered dreams, Folklore lyrics, and cat collecting. Only then, when truly alone, did I realize how incredibly wrong I had been.

Well, now he’s back, just as lovely, and grumpy as ever. But so are the walls he’d built between us.

Would this time be different?
Should I let him back in?
Could the cats ever accept him?
Will I ever find my…

Bindi Kennedy lives in Melbourne, Australia with her husband, two eternally embarrassed daughters, and the true loves of her life, her fur babies. She loves potatoes, hates balloons, and has an unhealthy obsession with Scottish Highlanders in kilts.

When she’s not adding a heartfelt twist to her fun, flirty and spicy romcoms, Bindi can be found reading, or listening to Taylor Swift...probably while crying.

OK friends, this book was SO freaking funny and cute! Though Lost in Love dives into some really tough themes, the story of Teddy and Asher finding each other again was so sweet and a great break from all the crazy angsty books I've been reading. If you are on the hunt for a contemporary romcom with EXCELLENT banter (and MULTIPLE Outlander references!) you have GOT to check this one out!

When Teddy's best friend moves to Australia and leaves him alone for the first time in years, he realizes just how lonely he is. And then he runs back into his ex, Asher, who he clearly still has feelings for. Teddy makes it his mission to get Asher back by being his friend, and though Asher is reluctant, there is clearly still a spark. However, Asher's feelings about Teddy are complicated by several secrets that he's not ready to divulge. Can Teddy truly trust Asher again with his heart when Asher cannot trust him with everything he's holding back?

OMG, I am SO obsessed with Teddy. He's over the top, loud, and ridiculous, but he's also so sweet, endearing, and sincere. His funny one-liners and banter with pretty much everyone had me laughing out loud more than once. Excellent romcom vibes 🤌🏼🤌🏼, even when they are dealing with tough situations. This book has one of the best grumpy/sunshine situations I've read in a WHILE - Asher’s closed off demeanor is SUCH a sharp contrast to Teddy's exuberance, but I loved them both. And I loved how they really learned to be vulnerable with each other throughout the book - great character development (and spice!).

I've been meaning to read this one for a while - the book is beautiful, @bindikennedyauthor is a SWEETHEART, and gosh, it just sounded like a book I'd love. And I wish I hadn't waited so long! I loved every minute, and now I'm going to have go back and read the earlier books in the series because I'm so curious about the other couples.

Lost in Love by Bindi Kennedy is an heart-wrenchingly emotional & simultaneously cheeky & spicy MM romance. It’s a second chance romance with chronic illness representation in both main character as well as side character. As a chronically ill bibliophile, I am always grateful to see chronic illness representation.

Lost in Love is for fans of…
🩵MM Romance
🩵Second Chance Romance
🩵Chronic Illness Representation

I have mixed feelings about this one. Parts of it I really enjoyed. Then, there were other parts where my ADHD brain struggled to stay engaged. I will say that second chance romance & miscommunication are some of my least favorite tropes so that could have been part of my struggle. The repetitive lack of communication, especially near in the end, had me disengaged emotionally:

I think the author has a lovely writing style. I just think this story with some of these tropes wasn’t my particular cup of tea.

If you’re a fan of second chance romance, Lost in Love is out now!

I've eagerly anticipated Teddy and Asher's story since the first book, "Rules in Love." Teddy, a charismatic and endearing character, initially radiates confidence until Asher shatters his heart. The narrative unfolds with their unofficial first meeting and then leaps forward about four years. For readers familiar with the preceding two books, Teddy and Asher's relationship history is well-documented.

As Teddy prepares to bid farewell to his closest friend, Scarlett, who is relocating to Australia, he becomes acutely aware of the impending loneliness. Ever resilient, Teddy conceals his emotions by immersing himself in work. However, everything takes a turn when he unexpectedly encounters Asher Kim at his new job site after a two-year hiatus.

Determined to remain a significant part of Asher's life, Teddy chooses to be the best friend he can be. As they spend more time together, buried secrets and emotions resurface. The evolving relationship faces challenges from various fronts—family, friends, jealousy, past issues, health challenges, pets, and more.

Will Teddy grant Asher a second chance? Has Asher genuinely transformed? Will Teddy discover love that brings happiness rather than confusion? To find the answers to these questions and more, dive right in! I assure you won't be disappointed!

I got 15% into this book, and I dnf'd it. I just did not vibe well with Teddy. His character is very over the top and constantly talking about Taylor Swift. I don't mind that, but it felt like it was every other sentence. Also, I did not e joy his sense of humor. It was very sexual and almost crude. I also did not I got to the point where Teddy runs into Asher again the scene left a bit of a sour taste because it's alluded to Asher being in a possible relationship with his cousin and at this point I called it. However, I did really enjoy the writing style, setting, and side characters. I definitely think there is an audience for this book. Unfortunately, I'm just a part of that audience. I'm definitely going to try some of these authors' other works, and I'm looking forward to what she publishes in the future.

Wow. Another amazing book from Bindi!

What more could you ask for?

🧍‍♂️ MM Romance
😢 Angst
❤️ Love
🌶️ Spice

Asher & Teddy had some right shit to sort out, things to learn about themselves, about each other, but I loved it!

I’ve rarely found a MM romance to not have what I love in books, which is - angst, spice, and a heavy dose of romance. This book however? All three in spades!

The perfect spark 🔥

I received a complimentary copy of this book and am leaving this review voluntarily.

Teddy has always known who he is, and he's never apologised for that. After saying farewell to his best friend, Scarlett, he is struck with loneliness and a sense of feeling lost. When a chance encounter has him running into the man who still held the shattered pieces of his heart, all Teddy wants is a second chance. When he starts to question whether he should let Asher back in, and whether this time will be different, he decides that the best thing he can do is be the best friend that Asher has ever had. Will Asher and Teddy be able to deny the attraction they both still feel? Or will they lose themselves in each other in the hopes that they won't crash and burn?

I have been waiting for this instalment of the West Village series since I ARC read Secrets in Love earlier last year. I haven't read Rules in Love yet, but I'm aiming to get to it sometime soon. Secrets stole my heart, and I fell in love with Kennedy's writing, the world that she's created and the characters that she's brought to life. Kennedy is the first author that has made me physically laugh out loud, in two different books now, and that is amazing.

I'd met Teddy in Secrets briefly, and he was such a strong, domineering character that I couldn't wait to get to meet properly. He didn't disappoint. He is so full of sass that I'm worried he will explode, and his humour and wit just had me shaking my head. The blurb doesn't lie, he is unapologetically himself and doesn't censor anything. He is crass, he is sexual, he is rude, and he is loud. And I love everything about him. He puts on such a strong front that has you believing that nothing can break him, that everything just rolls off his back like water on a duck. But as the story progresses, you get to see behind that front, and see how vulnerable and caring he really is. I want to protect him from the world. Asher, I'll admit, I didn't like him in the beginning of this book. I wanted to throttle him for what he did to Teddy. As the story moved along, however, I got to see who Asher really was and by the end of the book, I loved him just as much as I did Teddy. Getting to watch Asher grow and evolve throughout this story was something that I'm not quite sure I have words for. Learning about him and why he made the decisions that he did, it really broke my heart for him. I'm still mad, but I know I'll get over it, I'm sure that Teddy has, so I'm sure that I can as well.

The story was one that, initially, I wasn't sure if I was going to enjoy as much as Secrets. Teddy is chaotic, so it makes sense that his story felt a bit that way as well. But as I read on, I became as enamoured with this story as much as I did with the previous one. I love how the two books I have read by Kennedy now; both have a different feel about them. They have their own vibe and their own...flavour, if that makes sense. Where Secrets is like fruit tingles, Lost is like fairy floss. I'm not expecting anyone to be able to make sense of that, hahahaha, my brain works in mysterious ways. What I'm saying is, even though these stories are set in the same world and the characters are all intertwined and cameo in each other's stories, the stories are not the same. This one was a solid second chance, finding ones-self, learning to trust again, overcoming fears, all in spicy romance with tablespoons of humour spread throughout. The front door scene, when Asher is drunk, absolute gold! I'm still laughing about it.

All in all, this was a fantastic instalment in the series, and I can't wait to finally get into Rules and see where it all started. If you're looking for a spicy but sweet MM romance that still deals with heavier subjects in a gentle but honest way, give this one a go. I will scream about Kennedy's books from the roof tops because I did not expect to love them as much as I do. With rich stories, and real characters that have depth and personality, how could I not.

A beautiful story about self acceptance, second chances, and the art of loving freely.

This book was my first ever mm romance, and I’m so freaking happy it was! What a stunning, hilarious, and fun journey this was!

I’m not a huge contemporary romance girly. In fact, you will only ever catch me reading contemporary when I need a fantasy pallet cleanser. But when I was introduced to this book by the author, I KNEW I needed to read it!

From the get go, I LOVED Teddy. I adore characters who are full of wit and proud of who they are. Teddy is the kind of character you want to be friends with and love being in the head of!

Asher is a character that takes warming up to (in my opinion), but once I got a good feel for him, I was just as hopelessly obsessed as Teddy!

I liked the initial mystery around Asher, although I do highly suggest reading the other two books in the series first so that you don’t feel overwhelmed with the characters like I did (user error, the author strongly encourages reading the standalones in order and I ignored her like a dummy!). Despite that, I was never once uninterested or anything less than deeply invested!

These men were both such beautiful examples of what it is to be a flawed human. They are relatable and loveable, and their love story is nothing short of perfection. There were so many moments where I was nearing tears because I felt everything they did. A particular scene with a parent had me so emotional I had to put the screen down and breathe. There’s something so raw and beautiful about books where people fight for their own self acceptance but are readily given it by their loved ones (not Teddy’s parents though. They can kiss my ass, nasty lil bitches).

Anyways, there’s so much more to this book, but I suck at reviews and am feeling all emotional after the beautiful ending to this story. So just take my advice and read this series PLEASE.

📚 Just wrapped up the roller-coaster that is "Lost in Love" and I'm still catching my breath! 🎢💖

✨ First things first, this MM romcom is a solid 4-star instant favorite for me. Teddy, our sassy hero, and Archer, the moody yet loyal love interest, create a duo that's both frustrating and endearing.

😂 Teddy's humor, quick wit, and abundance of puns kept me laughing throughout. Archer, on the other hand, is the kind of boyfriend who's ready to love to bomb you but is held back by his walls.

👪 The dynamic between their blood families is a roller-coaster itself. Archer's family gets a thumbs up from me, while Teddy's blood relatives? Let's just say it's not the highlight. However, the unexpected turnaround with Teddy's big brother was a pleasant surprise.

🐱 And who can forget the fur family? Cats play a significant role, and the question of whether they'll accept Archer back into Teddy's life adds an extra layer of humor and warmth.

📖 The story beautifully tackles the angst, sadness, and hilarity of Teddy and Asher's love. The found family theme, a personal favorite, is expertly woven in, delivering a powerful message about unconditional support.

😭 Bindi shattered my heart, then pieced it back together. Asher's internal battles and Teddy's kindness are so well-written; that it felt like reading their diaries. I may or may not have shed a tear or two.

👏 If you haven't dived into this series, especially Teddy and Asher's journey, you're missing out! This book is a perfect blend of romance, angst, and spice.

📚 Massive thanks for the ARC, and if you're on the fence about picking this one up, trust me, you won't be disappointed! 🚀💕

“𝓢𝔀𝓮𝓮𝓽 𝓫𝓪𝓫𝔂 𝓳𝓮𝓮𝓹𝓮𝓻𝓼.” “𝓕𝓾𝓬𝓴. 𝓕𝓾𝓬𝓴𝓲𝓽𝔂. 𝓕𝓾𝓬𝓴𝓮𝓻.”

This was my first experience reading @bindikennedyauthor, and it was an instant 4 stars for me.

Teddy is funny, unapologetically himself and full of sassy puns and quick whit.

Archer is moody and loyal to a fault, the best son and brother you could ask for but the most frustrating boyfriend.

One is ready to love bomb the heck out of you, and the other is terrified they aren't enough and holds it in it behind so many walls.

I loved Archers' Blood family, however, Teddy's blood can go eat shit.

Theodores' blood is snooty, privileged, and ignorant. The big shock actually ended up being his big brother's turnaround. That was a nice surprise.

And there's cats, can't forget the fur family

Archers Mum is the feed you until you spill your feelings type and his Dad... well, you need to read the book to meet him.

Both have bonus families that life gave them, and those were gems.

Their love is angsty, sad, funny as hell, and in the end, there are lots of tears from both fear and laughter.

And in the end, we learn secrets are never a good idea, even if you feel it's for the best. Just be honest and let everyone in the situation decide what they can handle. If you get a second chance at love, put all your cards on the table from the start.

Oh my gosh. You guys!! Bindi has done it again! And I am now an absolute sucker for Teddy... Just a shame he's going for his own team and not mine 😭 but oh my gosh. LOVED this book even though it ripped me to shreds too many times to count! Thankfully my heart was rebuilt again all those times but oh my gosh I panicked sometimes thinking it was the end for Teddy and Asher.
I cannot recommend this series enough to those who love themselves some dirty MM scenes or even just for some witty jokes.
I also love how deep and real this storyline got like ohmygosh. The real world issues... The BS that the LGBTQ+ community still gets these days is just.. *shakes head*. It's disgusting but so well written in this book. I just wish people would hurry up and get it through their thick skulls to just let people love whoever they want to love. It's none of their business!
Also... I'm so hoping we never hear from Teddy's mother ever again... Although I'd love to hear from Andrew and Camille again!
I can't wait for Bindi to hopefully release the fourth book in this series. I can guarantee I'll be there for it! Anything written by Bindi at this stage is just an immediate yes from me!

This was my first ARC read and also my first Bindi Kennedy book.
This is the 3rd book in the west village series however you don't need to have read the first 2, which was good for me!

What I really liked about this book was showing a true representation of what it's like to be gay and being scared to come out. I worked in the dance industry for a long time and saw many friends go through this journey of coming out and trying to be themselves and seeing people judge them and family not approve, I've witnessed a lot of bullying and harassment so could totally resinate with the story line.

Teddy is out and proud of who he is and Asher is not, it's a beautiful story of how they find each other again and get a beautiful second chance of love and happiness, they go through a few hurdles along the way like any relationship without giving many spoilers away.

What I didn't like as much was the spice in this book was on another level. Thats mainly why it's not a 4 star for me because I felt there was a little too much spice for me, I do love a bit of spice however not in every chapter. I did love Teddy's witty one liners though, he's a sweetheart!

I would recommend this book, I believe it's a lovely love that re blossoms and if you like spice then this is for you!
I really enjoyed reading an Arc before it was released! I have to admit - thank you :)

Where do I begin? Bindi absolutely broke my heart, pieced it together, broke it all over again and finally healed my heart along with these two wild, misunderstood, beautiful soft boys!

Teddy and Asher had a roller-coaster Romance, caught between what you feel, what you love and what you're afraid of.

This coming out story is filled with heartache, wanting, an insane amount of hilarious dick and ass related puns, two heart-warming MMCs who we met in book one that at times, you may hate them a little bit, but not really. And then love them even more along with horrendous family members and even bigger friends.

Found Family is one of my favourite tropes and Bindi has done an amazing job as that being the main message in this book series. Bindi's writing is nothing short of beautiful, emotional and joy of finding a little bit of yourself in every character.

It’s a story of love and coming out and is just written so beautifully!! It’s also extra spicy which how can you not love some spice hehe 🌶️

This is a must read romance and I’m sorry but the cover is the most stunning cover I have ever seen 💙

Here is a lil plot and if this doesn’t convince you to read this book I don’t know what will…
Teddy moved from England to NYC with his bestie Scarlett, Scarlett is now moving to Aus to start her new life leaving Teddy all by himself! It’s been 2 years since Teddy and Ashy broke up but there love story is only just beginning…
Both dealing with heavy and traumatic pasts and working through personal issues, will love be enough…

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review. I had not read the previous books in the series prior to reading Lost in Love. I don’t think this had a huge impact on the reading experience, although I might have felt like I “knew” the characters a bit better if I’d read the other books.

The very first page of this book captured me with how beautiful the prose was. I found the character of Teddy completely chaotic and the energy that brought to the story was dizzying - especially if I was reading late at night.

The book didn’t feel like a typical romance novel: partly because of the chaotic character energy of Teddy, partly because it was a second-chance romance story and the MCs both had some issues to work through. It felt like quite a long book (hard to tell reading the ebook). There were plenty of swoony romantic feelings throughout, some wonderful comedic moments and family dramas bringing the angst. It was a hard fought HEA.

Bindi Kennedy has an incredible talent for writing characters who are both so insufferable and so lovable and human. At times I hoped these characters would not end up together, at others, I thought they were the perfect math, but I always wanted to see what happened next. I appreciate the conversations around consent and safe sex which is something unfortunately lacking in a lot of adult romance. However I will say, how did they always have lube on hand where ever they were? Was it pocket sized?? Did they stash it before??? Overall this was a very fun, cosy, silly read which I enjoyed but it's not groundbreaking. I did find the intense polar opposite stereotyping a little much at times but they're just characters, it's just a book for a bit of steamy fun. Also, would Teddy please stop calling Asher Gay when he's Bi!!!!!!! Teddy has some internalised biphobia to work through...

ARC review for Lost in Love. Thank you so much for allowing me to read this book early!

Lost in Love is a MM, second chance, 🌶️🌶️ romance and can be read as a stand-alone (which is what I did but I definitely want to read more of Bindis books!).

This romance was such a rollercoaster in the best way! Teddy, the loveable, bubbly MMC and Asher the grumpy bartender are such fascinating characters that I fell in love with so quickly.

I loved Asher’s coming out story and seeing him battle with his internal thoughts and realise who he truly is.

Although I haven’t read the other books in this series yet, the found family element shone through and I felt the love the characters in this universe have for each other.

"Lost in Love" by Bindi is a heartwarming MM romcom. Teddy thought he had life figured out, until Asher kissed him and messed things up. Full of humor, heartbreak, and a quirky cat collection, it explores self-discovery, love, and second chances.
labsolutely adored Theodore AKA Teddy, his humour really brought his character to life. Theo came out when he was a young boy, he knew who he was and spent years of his life celebrating that. However Asher didn't find it as easy.
I loved the connection between both Theo and Asher, It did take me a little while to like Asher, but towards the end I loved them equally.
I highly recommend this books, Bindi has done a wonderful job telling a beautiful love story. I was left hugging the book at the end!

Teddy met and re-met Asher through several rom-com meet cutes. For six months they flirted, dated and snuggled but all in the closet - just as Asher was until he dumped Teddy. For two years Teddy can't get over him. Neither can Asher. It's heartbreaking to read of Asher trying to be selfless. Teddy is irresistibly funny, very British and a ray of sunshine and Asher is moodiness himself. Teddy is also the definition of flirtation and won't give up until he wears Asher down. This is one of the most emotionally crushing and yet amazingly amusing books I've read in a while - a superbly angsty tale that brings all the feels. A new author for me but a rising star in my books! I received a copy of this book through Booksprout and this is my honest opinion.

Bindi has officially turned me into an MM romance lover. This is my first MM book, and it definitely won't be my last ;) I had SO much fun reading about Asher and Teddy's second-chance romance, with the dual timeline helping to feel a deeper connection to these two and understand their dynamic.

!!THE SPICE WAS OFF THE CHARTS!! But beyond this, their love was passionate and pure, and I truly believe that's what made these scenes that much more sexy.

I laughed out loud, kicked my feet, fanned myself, and had a WONDERFUL time. HIGHLY RECOMMEND to anyone looking for an MM romance that warms your heart. Asher and Teddy have my heart forever, and I cannot wait to read your MMF romance, Bindi!!!

I’ve just finished lost in love and omg I’m Inlove with Asher 😭😭😭 just watching him come to terms with myself and seeing him blossom I cried

And teddys heart, he’s just so kind and loving he’s literally a human teddy bear 😩

I loved this story so much!

I honestly think I could safely say that Asher is my new favourite like his internal battle within himself his relationships and his true self was just beautifully written, it was like I was reading his diary of that makes sense like I felt what he was feeling within your words.

If you haven’t read this series I’m highly disappointed because everyone needs to read this series especially teddy and Asher’s story!

This was my first time reading @bindikennedyauthor, and it was amazing.

Teddy, the MC of the story, is witty, sassy, and full of puns. Archer is moody and loyal, but a frustrating partner. One is ready to love bomb, the other is terrified they aren’t enough. What could go wrong?!

Their relationship is a rollercoaster, a lot of ups and downs, and loop-di-loops in between. This coming-out-story/grumpy sunshine is filled with fun and spice. Like.. SPICE. 🌶️ If you love these tropes, I highly recommend this book.

Struggled to get into this book not sure if that’s cause I’ve been listening to audiobooks for the last few months but once I got into it I enjoyed Theo & Asher’s story. Theo’s sassiness was perfect. I always love a sassy character I just connect with them so much.

Teddy and Ash were the fluffy romance I needed to read. At times I wanted to smack Ash over the head with a rolled up newspaper but as the author unraveled the mental struggles that was keeping Ash from letting go of his asshole persona, I understood why he acted the way he did and felt sad for him. But Ted, with his heart bigger than his ego, the humor that constantly had me laughing or blushing, and his desire to never give up on love, it was such a beautiful journey to go on while reading Lost in Love.

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC for Lost in love and let me just say I NEED to read the rest of the series ASAP!!

This was an MM second chance romance, grumpy/sunshine, with found family - just YES
I also loved the chronic health representation!

This book was funny, easy to read and of course spicy 🤭
Bindi did an amazing job with this one and handled important topics within this book so well.
Definitely give it a go!

I have held a not so secret flame for Teddy since reading Rules way back in September and I have been chomping at the bit to read his story but alas I didn't have the time. I finally finally worked through my TBR to the point that I could pick this baby up. Let me tell you, getting to know my boy Teddy's ins and outs was both heartbreaking and beautiful. I wanted to b!†çh slap every single person in his family and I wanted to just hug him to pieces. I loved Asher too, not as much as my Teddy of course but in his own way he has become super special to me as well. This book did a beautiful job of capturing the hate and ugliness that same sex couples face when they decide to come out. I loved this book so much and it will 100% be a comfort read for me for sure.

I had high hopes for this book but it fell very short.

I’m not sure whether I should be offended for the gay community for the use of every stereotype, or for the males of the world who have had their minds and bodies represented so poorly.

There were many questionable “descriptions” in this that have left me utterly confused.

Teddy Digby is by far one of the best characters I've read about in a long time. I loved everything about this story! The drama and redemption kept me on edge the whole time. The spice was on point and it just gives you everything. ♥ 10/10 recommend this book!

Only managed to read about 45% of this, this was a personal thing, I just wasn’t vibing with the characters or the experiences they were having.

Will still try a different one of hers to see if I just don’t like this one not all of them
