Review written in 3rd Grade:
This is a very good story of a boy that wanted to go to school. It was written by Lee Hingman. It is about a boy named Peter. He was very lonely because he lived far out in the woods. Then his birthday came. He got a big cake with candles. When he blew them out he wished that he could go to school. But there was one candle left burning and Peter thought he would never go to school.
To find out if he got to school go to the library in our room.

The illustrations were nice and
attractive and appropriate.

It was a good--not absolutely great
storyline.

A good but not great picture book.

Children in general would enjoy it.
