Book Review
Title: Mr. Boring by B. L. Wilde (The Human Mating Site Book 7)
Genre: Novella, Romance, Erotica
Rating: 4.25 Stars
Rejoining Bella after being away from this series for a while actually made me enjoy the book even more. I really liked that a relatively small portion focused on the Mr. Boring, Garth, a mechanic Bella goes on a date with but he just rants about cars the entire time, boring the life from her.
This novella actually focuses more on what Bella wants long terms and her ever complicated dynamics with Jensen and Liam. We do see that Jensen wants more with Bella but she isn’t the woman he is looking for and both recognise that. Despite some of the best sex scenes in the series so far, Jensen opts to take a step back after the Christening where they are going to mess with Joel and it saddens Bella but she understands why.
Afterwards the girls end up going out to Liam’s bar and she hasn’t been since the night of the attack but she seems to be coping well. We see a growing attraction between her and Nathan despite him being in a relationship. It is Ava who explains that Nathan was the man she was trying to set Bella up with when she first split from Joel which is a little disappointing.
However, the star of the show for me was the dynamic between Liam and Bella. Liam actually confesses to Bella that he might be ready to give something more serious a try despite his reputation because of her. Ava said the same thing earlier but Bella didn’t really believe her but she has to admit that mentally she isn’t in the right place and she’s enjoying what she is doing right now. Liam gets really jealous and upset that Jensen is going to the Christening with her but he doesn’t give Bella a chance to explain before storming off.
The argument and the environment causes Bella to have a panic attack and it is Nathan that comes to rescue and from the conversation with Ava, it seems like he might be leaving his current girlfriend and he might be the one the next novella is focused on but I do wish the books were moving towards Bella choosing a man. Overall, I really enjoyed the book but it is starting to feel a little repetitive and while the relationship dynamic give me some relief I am waiting for the endgame to show itself properly.

Still recovering from previous conquest, Bella is having trouble trusting those around her. Not only that but it seems like she is making a mess out of everything. Now her car breaks down on top of that!? Gareth, the mechanic, seems interested in Bella. Bella has no interest in cars or anything but when Gareth hints that her car will be ready faster if she goes on a date with him, she says yes. Oh boy was that a mistake. This man doesn’t know when to shut up. All he talks about is cars even after Bella is very obvious with her disinterest. But hey! At least she got her car fixed.
I am still rooting for Liam and Jenson, more so Liam to win the heart of Bella. Even though he comes across as a player, he is willing to TRY for her. Swoon..

Last we left Bella she found out information re: Mr. Kinky Jensen. Now finishing with Mr. Rich, Bella gets a call from an old friend and things get extremely wild. Listen can I take Bella’s place because Jesus my gurl is lucky lucky. I like how Bella is comfortable in what she wants and decided she knows moving forward with Mr. Kinky won’t work. Now Mr. Boring what a snooze but dude take the hint. That tension between her and Mr.Player is hiding some serious motives. That shocker about Nathan wtf. Can’t wait for more

I need to know!!!
God, I love this series. I’m totally convinced the next book is gonna be about Nathan, can’t believe that was who Luna was going to set her up with I’m convinced that’s where she’s going to end up. It’s just something that makes me feel that she’s gonna end up with him but then there’s Jensen to think about and Liam arh. I can’t wait for the next book to come out and then the books are gonna be made into one big book so excited love this series and the quick read that they are, I always get my reading fix in with this series.

This is the 7th novella in the series that follows Bella and Gareth with some of the previous characters returning. This book picked right up where the last one left off with the unknown of David and Jenson being best friends. I loved seeing how possessive Jenson got over her but didn’t enjoy the date Bella went on with Mr. Boring. Towards the end Bella tries to overcome her trauma being back at Chicago’s but it didn’t go the way she had planned. I have a feeling for who the next book will focus on but I will find out sooner than later. I am definitely loving this series so far.

Sometimes you just have to go through the boring to find out what your heart wants or in this case doesn't want. And Bella sure is finding out what her heart doesn't want. While there's nothing super wrong with him, there's nothing there either. And of course her heart is craving other things, iykyk, wink wink. BUT, onward and upward... ha! That's what she said. (insert ridiculous childish giggle here!)

Bella has guys all around her and I can't figure out who she'll end up with - if she ends up with one ..... I think I'm still pulling for Liam .....
You meet a few new guys in this book and you get a few repeaters in this novella.

Bella is hitting her "stride" with the guys, and is finding herself with a full plate. In this one we met a "go no where" guy. But we luckily have a few guys popping back into her life. Setting up for a fast paced back end.

Bella, Bella, Bella. The things you get into have me hesitant to get on any dating apps. Mr. Boring did not come from a dating app. Bella meets him the regular way. Bella's car was acting up and she needed to get it towed to a mechanic. That mechanic was Gareth. Gareth did eventually use the dating app to contact Bella and they had a date. It was the most boring date of my life and I was just reading about it. How can Bella get out of this situation?
Bella's usual reinforcements were all busy. Did I mention that Jenson came back? Yes, Mr. Kinky came back with a vengeance to claim what was his. Bella still isn't ready to for all that comes with dating Jenson. She can have fun in the meantime though, right? Boy does she have fun. Jenson definitely knows his way around Ms. Bella. Bella knows she can't give Jenson what he really wants. Something is going on with Liam as well. I can't wait to see what Bella gets into next. This novellas are just right for keeping the readers engaged in this story. Ms. Wilde has a gem here.
