Jonah finds himself envisioning a future with Grace by his side, yet fears jeopardizing their cherished friendship by revealing his feelings. Now an Amazon bestselling author, Sylvia Price is an author of Amish and contemporary romance and women’s fiction. She especially loves writing uplifting stories about second chances!

Sylvia was inspired to write about the Amish as a result of the enduring legacy of Mennonite missionaries in her life. While living with them for three weeks, they got her a library card and encouraged her to start reading to cope with the loss of television and radio, giving Sylvia a new-found appreciation for books.

Although raised in the cosmopolitan city of Montréal, Sylvia spent her adolescent and young adult years in Nova Scotia, and the beautiful countryside landscapes and ocean views serve as the backdrop to her contemporary novels.

After meeting and falling in love with an American while living abroad, Sylvia now resides in the US. She spends her days writing, hoping to inspire the next generation to read more stories. When she’s not writing, Sylvia stays busy making sure her three young children are alive and well-fed.

Jonah and his brother are living in their home while working their growing business in the town. As happens many times their home is put on hold while they put in the long hours and Jonah realizes that the house is a disaster area. He talks to his brother and decides that they need to either cut back on the business or hiring someone to take over the household duties.
Grace in the meantime is dealing with her families problems and one of them is the fact that their farm business is dwindling and therefore the family does not have that much money. In order to help out she decides to find employment. After looking all over town for a job and being unsuccessful she wanders into the brothers business to see what they have and realizes that Jonah is an old friend of hers.
Jonah decides to tell her about what they are looking for and because of it she takes the job of managing and running their household. As the time goes on and Jonah and Grace rekindle their childhood friendship, Jonah realizes that he has feelings for Grace. But, will he be strong enough or brave enough to trust in the lord and the gift he has given him and take it forward.
This is book two of the series and I can't wait for book three. Such a heartwarming set of stories.

Finding Forever is the second book in the Amish Hearts in Hopewell series and I can't wait to return. This is Grace and Jonah's story and includes interactions with other members of their families. Both have had troubles affect their families due to accidents and illness but they rise above it except for Grace's dad. There are heartwarming moments as the town comes together after an ice storm.

Grace and Jonah have been good friends since they were in school together. They usually catch up on church Sundays but sometimes she would visit him in his family's carpentry shop owned and run by him and his older brother. She runs into town to run some errands and visits him in his shop and becomes their housekeeper since they can't keep up with the house and their business. From there their attraction grows and seems to become more. The story did end abruptly and there wasn't as much interactions with characters we've met previously which I would have liked.

Ms. Price is an author whose books I enjoy whether they are Amish or Christian stories. All are clean with a hint of romance and some have some sadness woven throughout.

This is another good series by Sylvia Price. This book centers around Jonah and Grace. Jonah and his brother own a carpentry business that is very busy. They don't have time to take care of their home. Grace needs a job to help with the expenses at her family's home. Her father has been injured, her mother and brother have passed from an illness that swept through the community. Grace and Jonah have been friends for years. When she tells him she is looking for a job in case he knows of someone hiring, it gives Jonah the idea to hire her to cook and clean for him and his brother. (Their parents have passed). As they start spending more time together, Jonah and Grace become closer. Their friendship turns to love. What will they do with this new found feelings that they have for one another? Read this book to find out. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I thoroughly enjoyed the prequel and the first book in the series. In this new book, Jonah and Matthew are brothers who have time for work but not for chores. Grace is friends with Jonah but doesn't go to Hopewell much. I loved how they reconnected. It was skillfully done.

It's a book where hardship and a helpful attitude come together to produce a heartwarming tale.

I felt for, and liked, Jonah ever since he had to take care of his cousin's children upon her unexpected death. I was happy to have him in a story again and like the development in his subplot and how he's matured and grown.

Grace's family is struggling financially after her father was injured and their home is in need of some repairs. Jonah and his brother Matthew are busy with their carpentry business, however they have little time and less experience in keeping the work at home done. Is there a way that Jonah and Grace could help each other out? They have been friends for years. What is happening with Gabriel and his new family? Mother nature doesn't play nice with some of the community. How will they handle the damage left behind? Will there be wedding bells soon and for who?.

I received a copy of this book from the author. Review voluntarily given.

Another great sweet HEA!

Sylvia Price is consistent in writing good, clean and wholesome romances for all ages. This book delivers. Jonah and his brother are too busy as wood workers to put any order in their house. Grace's family is in financial stress and Grace wants to help. When she sees the state of the mess in the brothers' house did she bite off more than she could chew? Friendship may just have it limits. Jonah doesn't want to jeopardize that friendship but will it cost him too much?
I loved the plot, how Price develops it and the satisfying ending and easily recommend this story.

Another good book in an enjoyable series. The story ‘plots’ build between the books because the lives of families in the g-may come in and out: visits, helping each other, fellowshipping, day to day events, etc. This book was relaxing and entertaining. I could easily place myself in the environment of the story's happenings.
I did receive an ARC and am pleased to leave my opinion… this series is an enjoyable, well written adventure. I do recommend it to anyone who enjoys clean, easy to read stories and/or Amish themed books. I look forward to the next book.

Grace and Jonah’s story flows fluently, without the constant repetition found in Book 2, making it far more enjoyable. The plot follows a similar theme: an Amish bachelor needs help in his household, potentially finding his soulmate in a member of the community who has been known to him for many years.
The author tackles the community feeling among the Amish in a well-researched manner, demonstrating their habit of putting all personal needs aside to assist those who experience difficulty.
I received a review copy via StoryOrigin and this is my honest opinion.

Jonah Hershberger and his brother Matthew find it hard to manage their house with their busy lives as carpenter business.  Jonah  offers the job of being their housekeeper to their childhood friend Grace  Schrock and she accepts. A special friendship builds between Grace and Jonah.  A great read. I enjoyed the ARC copy  which I received via Booksprouts and leave a honest review. I recommend this book to other readers.

The second book in the Amish Hearts in Hopewell series is focused on the story of Jonah and his brother Matthew, who live together in bachelor squalor. When Jonah employs his long-time friend Grace to clean up the home, the relationship between them slowly develops into a closer one. The way this development is handled is cleverly done, around activities and upheavals in their small community. A sweet read!
I received an ARC from the author via StoryOrigin, but my review is given voluntarily.

Jonah and Matthew are typical men: working at their business they have no time to keep up their house. Grace needs a job to help support her family. Jonah & Grace know each other. They are a perfect match to help each other. I am glad I am not Grace because the house is so neglected there are no clean dishes, dust is thick, dirty clothes abound, etc. But love may be discovered for Jonah and Grace. Grace and Jonah have been friends for ages, but their new working arrangement has each thinking they'd like to be more than friends.

The story is short, but time passes so it doesn't all happen in a rush. The characters are sweet and relatable.

This is my voluntary review of a copy I received from Booksprout.

Sylvia Price uses the sweet romance between two young Amish lonely hearts to remind us that when we wait on the Lord, He will give us the desires of our heart. Be a part of the community as they rally together to rebuild after a severe storm. Not to mention you'll enjoy some beautiful scenery.

Jonah and Matthew own a carpentry business and are so busy they don't have time to clean their house. They decided to hire a housekeeper.

Grace, a friend for many years, was looking for a job to help her family. When she told Jonah she was looking for a job, he hired her. While working at their house, she and Jonah were spending some time together.

Would their feelings change for each other, or would they remain friends?

I received a free ARC, and this is my honest opinion.

Excellent!

A wonderful second book in the series! You meet more of the community while still keeping up with the ones from book one.

Terrific reminders of how we can face times of trouble.
