--

OVER 1,000 PAGES OF NONSTOP ACTION! It's a ruthless universe out there, with humanity reigning supreme, treating alien lives as mere collateral in their unending quest for dominion. Yet, amidst this injustice, a band of alien warriors rise against the odds. They're not just soldiers; they're Thunderstrike.

Once enslaved, these alien fighters have earned their freedom by shedding blood for Earth, serving in a military that values them less than the humans they protect. Their grit and valor have carved out a reputation that precedes them across the galaxy. But now, they find themselves wrongfully accused, their honor at stake.

In the fallout of a botched mission, they stand accused of a crime they did not commit. Their names are tarnished, and they're being used as scapegoats for a burgeoning threat that promises doom for humanity.

But Thunderstrike is not just a name, it's a testament to their resilience. Now on the run, these warriors must do what no one else dares. They must navigate a universe that seeks their downfall, to bring the real culprits to justice and restore their tarnished honor.

If you like aliens of all shapes and sizes, playful banter and dark humor, plus endless space battles, you'll love the THUNDERSTRIKE series!

These two authors always deliver the best in sci-fi extra terrestrial adventures and they do not deceive in this adventure either.

A crew composed of army veterans from different species across the entire known Universe, have formed a team that navigates space in the Upheaval, a star vessel and pick up assignments in order to survive and make a profit in a world ruled by humans where aliens are either in the military of used as slave labour.

One mission consists of taking aboard a very important dignitary from a distant planet and delivering her to a specified destination. While doing so and under their protection, the dignitary is murdered and the crew is accused and arrested by the humans as responsible for the murder even if they had nothing to do with it. One solution is left. They must travel the galaxy in order to clear their name. One problem, though. There is a war raging.

As rare as it appears, in my opinion, book 2 is better than book 1.

Wolf and his crew of ex-military alien fighters known as Thunderstrike are still fighting their way to the Frontier where their goal of reuniting each team member with their families can be achieved.

But, like the saying says,:"Beware of what you wish for."

They fight every inch of the way with the Alvai on their tail looking for Wolf. Why? No one knows.
They thought that humans were slavers, well guess what? They're not the only ones.

They reunite with other Alien species they used to call comrades in arms and the bonds are re-established in seconds. Together, they strive to reach their goal. However, humans, 8 to be exact are now part of the crew as the Earth galaxie is being destroyed by the Alvai.

One of the best books of the series, this brilliantly written book by terrific authors, keeps the reader on his or her toes all through the book.

The authors have achieved the impossible. They have succeeded in bringing together species or factions that hate each other's gutts and fight, as one unit, for all the Alien races in the world.

Wolf still tries to figure out why the Alvai is so intent in meeting with him.

What a book deserving more than the 5 Stars maximum authorized by this platform

I usually start by giving my take on certain happenings in the book while trying not to give away the plot.

It is virtually impossible to give a taste of this masterpiece without giving away the plot.

I have been reading for a very long time and viewed films that litterally glued me to my chair, they were so good.

Well, this, and I repeat Masterpiece, is Action, Action and Action. Combat, Alliances, Treachery, constant changing of Faction's chain of command with new commanders feeling liberated and not compelled to honor the previous leaders commitments and conspiracies all through the book that I highly recommend and that is not the best part. The stories of two alien races will be r revealed at the end. Is Wolf the last Coyama, like Cooper's Last Mohican after his race was murdered by the Earth Galaxy Military? Who are the Alvai and what do they want with the highly decorated sargent?

Rating this book 5 Stars is not enough. It deserves a lot more. In my opinion, it is the best action filled book that I have read in the last 40 years.

Wolf, the Lament and its crew are on their final voyage with a definite goal.
Each and every crew member must and will be returned to his or her home planet.

However, this is easier said than done.

True to this captivating series, the authors have masterfully created and written, a breathtaking finale where , as stated before, each and every crew member including Wolf, will be returned to his Home planet or settlement depending on where their species has taken up residence.

From being attacked by their relentless enemy, facing a world where women are less than men and destined to be wed and used for the species's procreation, witnessing a tragedy of epic proportions, crossing a zone where two neighboring planets are at war because of simple dominance and greed, being attacked by a world dominance, pillaging and complete anhilation species that appear to multiply at will, and finally meeting his goal and keeping his promise, Wolf and his crew, the main characters of this great series created by Daniel and Joshua, have their task cut out for them.

As usual with these two authors using their gift, the reader is virtually taken on an adventure filled with every possible science fiction experience felt like reality. As far as this reader is concerned, the book merits more than the maximum 5 Stars given and I highly recommend the book.

Filled with action, bigotry, unknowns and adventures, this is a series that is a great read that I rate with 5 Stars and highly recommend, while looking forward to the next one. A must read.

I loved the story’s feel which is reminiscent of the “pulps” from the 1930s thru the 1950s. The story operates outside of our notions of physics. Travel thru space takes only enough time to enter the next scene. This gives it a rollicking feel that makes the words do cartwheels thru our imaginations. In fact this might make a great animated film. It has a classical construction that has both heroes and villains plus a few in between good and bad. It more or less follows the form that George Lucas used in the Star Wars series of films, books and games. Of course Lucas drew on the pulps of his childhood but refined for all ages and tastes.
The boxset is a great example of an extended storyline which honestly the story truly deserves. I think most readers would be left wanting more even after this box set. The author has delivered a really nice piece of science fiction.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Another fun filled adventure begins where our band of plucky aliens are on the run from everyone and must survive to clear their name. Then they figure out other things are in play and off they go with lots of twits and surprises kept me reading to the end. It was a riot with entertaining crew, crazy battles and lots of running. Entertaining and fast paced. A great setup to a universe full of human and aliens. Fast paced and lots of laughter kept me reading to see what out poor heroes would face and find. Happy to get an early copy and laughed my way through the story.

Fabulous

I simply loved the books. The characters were great. I especially liked how the males all were able to show each other affection and yet still very much “men”. The one thing that bugged me was how every time their spacecraft was hit the pilot was thrown around. Everyone else was strapped in but the pilot crashed onto his head every time!! In different spacecrafts too. You’d think they’d learn!

Peace for all , or suffer unimaginable destruction.

I enjoyed the different species , humans being the slavers...but, there was too many continuous situations of being almost killed while expressing a sense of morality verging on being a naive child.....luckily it was written well enough to be unable to stop.

Thunderstrike

This is quite possibly one of the best science fiction series I’ve ever read. I only happened upon it by accident. The characters were fantastic, especially the lead, Wolf. Amongst all the violence was the love and respect the main characters had for each other. Such a heartwarming story. I loved it.

Excellent set of books kept this old space opera fan well entertained.

Great characters, good pacing, interesting species, and plenty of battles to keep things moving. My usual bit about a couple of places that would benefit from some proofreading/editing. Not disappointed at finding an entertaining, engaging read.

Thunderous writing.

If you enjoy your reading full of space battles and explosives, then look no further! Daniel Young has created a universe entirely for you. Occasionally, the repetitive soul-searching can become distracting, but the protagonist's search for his true calling is truly an epic journey.

Enjoy.

Very long and intense novel set. Twists and turns abound. The characters are well developed over the entire 7 books. They never break character and their development over the novels are consistent with growth over a war.

A very good read

Excellent series, good characterisation, great storyline and a brilliant ending. I enjoyed the tense moments, the sadness and the happiness. Well written and in its own way quite deep and profound.
