Knight Barron, the second eldest son of the Barron family is led by duty, honor and chivalry.
Above all else, he is dedicated to his family. When it’s his turn to accept a marriage planned by his parents, Knight steps up fully prepared to play dutiful husband.
What Knight cannot foresee is another woman falling into his life. A woman that isn’t a part of the plan but has him intrigued. It doesn’t take long before Knight is questioning whether to choose family loyalty or his happiness.
Having two is far better than one and Knight Barron is open to the possibility.
I loved Knight. He was all BDE while still allowing Nova to lead. I loved there flow and how everything just worked for them. Knight was Casmis knight and shining armor. I personally didn’t feel the connection between Knight, Nova and Casmi. It was like Casmi felt she had to reward them cause of them saving her. Casmi brother was also a bxtch. How you never check on your sister for years. This was a cute arranged marriage finding the missing piece they didn’t know was missing.
Knight was such an unconventional twist to an arranged marriage trope, as it is a FFM story. You're re probably wondering, like me, how is this going to play out. Lets just say didnt expect for this story to take the turn it did, but it was brilliant. For the Barron brothers, it is tradition to bring in their twenty-fifth birthday married. However, I don't think the family could have predicted the events following the marriage to unfold in the manner in which they did. Novaline was the chosen wife for Knight and truly, she was his equal in every aspect. Their chemistry was instantaneous. Knight took his vows seriously, and he was determined to make it work. Enter Casmi into the chat. She is the third part of this trio but her story wasn't as beautiful as Nova and Knight's. Casmi was in an arranged marriage to a "boy" who broke her down mentally and physically. Knight was her true knight and shining armor. Getting to experience these characters, main and side, was a treat. Knight was the ultimate protector, a selfless lover with a big heart. When he told Casmi he would die and kill for her and Nova, he meant that! We Stan! I am looking forward to more from the Barron brothers! Good job!
Knight out trying to celebrate his birthday when knuckleheads begin a fight, during which he meets a women he is drawn too but doesn't know what to do about because he is supposed to get married soon. His new Bride Nova is perfect. I love how although strangers he was completely prepared to love and honour her. Nova was beautiful and confident and was the perfect fit for Knight. These three souls met and created a life together living g and protecting each other. Great blend of personalities and very little drama between these sheets. Enjoyable read wold recommend to anyone who like throuples.
I read a couple of books by this author and I decided to listen to the audiobook. Overall Knight dynamic with his wife and girlfriend was complex. I was happy that the couple girlfriend got justice from what her husband was doing to her. Overall good read.
It was a good read I enjoyed the characters however I wasn’t really feeling Casmi joining them in their marriage. We didn’t get to see what or who Knight and Nova were on their own becoming one because Casmi was always with them. I understand why they wanted to help her but I don’t feel as she needed to be apart of their marriage she could have been with anyone else and they just kept it on a friendly basis but I guess
4 🌟 Well, this was indeed a fast-paced, spicy, suspenseful, drama and somewhat action-filled GOODT time! And even though this was about a 250-page read, it read like a novella with how swiftly the plot was moving forward and... I ain't mad it.
Knight Barron is undeniably one of THEE perfect example of BDE! He had me squeezing my legs together a couple of times like, well dayum lmao. Nova was a straight badass outta the gate, and I'm always here for strong, confident, “knock a ninja on his ass if needed” FMC! Her and Knight were such a great match for one another, with Casmi being the balance their marriage needed imo. Because although Casmi had been through a sh*tty first marriage, she kept her feminine softness while being strong in her own ways.
Reads like this is why arranged marriage is one of my favorite tropes, because ML Bash honestly executed it so enjoyably imo. And although some of the details for the settings and rules of this particular “world” the characters existed in were vague, I don't feel it took away from the story, but definitely could have added so much more. I look forward to reading the other “Barron Boys” books in this series, especially Bishop's that was recently released.
ML Bash has yet to disappoint me, so I'll always recommend her books! 🫶🏾
This is really ML’s lane. The way she does these Why Choose books?! It’s truly a gift! Arranged marriage AND FFM?! Ate it up!
I loved that Knight was a traditional man just as No a called him. The one with some sense and such a sweetheart who didn’t play bout those he loved and women in general. But also a lil crazy…AN OPEN FLAME MY BOY?! 😂😂 Him and Nova both just being a lil confused but loyal to each other no matter what made me giggly! 😂 coconut yall both feel the same but yall mad! Nova was really that girl!!! From the beginning we knew Nova was not the one to play with and she wasn’t gon play with you! I loved her addition to Knight and the Barton’s. Baby said put me in the field!! Casmi my girl…she really was the strongest of them all because all that she went through and she still just hung in there and did what she had to do. Then when she really got the chance to step in her power…she did so without turning her back on who she is as a person. That softness was still there without HAVING to be there.
This was too good. I can’t think about another book for a gold 24hrs
I really enjoyed getting to know these characters and watching Nova and Knight grow into their relationship. I wish there was more development of their individual relationships with Casami. Even so, this is a good read!
“You can leave on your feet or beneath a white sheet, but I’m not discussing or explaining shit.”
ML Bash knows how to write some strong bomb ass MCs. Knight and his entire family were very much energy that i like. However, Knight is really BDE. That whole family is trained to go and i can’t wait to read the rest of the brothers. Overall, with the family i love how supportive they are towards one another. Whether it’s handling business or how you choose to love.
With this being an FFM romance/arranged marriage Nova was truly the perfect woman for him. She was badass, strong, and has sex appeal. Love how we watched her become so comfortable and soft with knight. The right person will bring it out of you. When y’all get to that night club scene though 😉. As Casmi comes in the picture you get to really see the beauty of just how much a gentleman Knight is and how Nova is protective of her. He loves and respects women and takes no bs in harm being done to them. Especially within the rules of their society’s arrange marriage laws. Casmi really had some trauma to work through and the way knight was with her is quite loving. Now i do wish we got a little more of the romance once Casmi came into play. Nonetheless, it was nice seeing how they all were together and then with each other individually.
Other quotes: “The devil I knew was better than the one i didn’t.”
“Keep your eyes on me or I’ll stop fucking you.”
“All I want is to make you feel safe, seen, and happy, baby. That’s everything to me.”
“We can’t go to war while our house is in shambles.”
“You belong on this dick just like Novalie belongs on this fucking dick.”
When it comes to writing a MC who is protective, honorable and loyal, M.L. Bash does not disappoint. Knight Barron is a traditional man. A husband who knows the seriousness in honoring and protecting his wife. Not only that, he has side to him that one might want to think twice about getting on. Ask Eddie. He learned the hard way. His parents did right choosing Novalie to be his wife. She’s strong, confident and not afraid to interject herself when she’s an another woman in distress. She is a woman that will not be shut down or shut out. Now, Casmi…phewww Eddie did her so wrong. Baby girl been checked out of that marriage. Knight and Novalie coming to her aid and sticking by her was everything. I was proud watching her slowly overcome the trauma she received from her husband. In the end, what Eddie got was mercy, he deserved worse in my book. On a side note, I’m going to need a book with Knight’s brother Rook. It’s something about the crazy ones I love. lol.
This was just okay. I really don't have twenty words that I care to write on it. It was just okay. I wanted to stop reading probably midway through it.
I have no other words not a d*** other word but perfection here utter Bliss and happiness I felt from this book. Nova Casmi and Knight we're everything I want it and I didn't even know it... I was concerned I wasn't gonna be a big fan of at least one of the girls but I love them both I love The communication between night and Nova and how they each Played off of each other so well. Casmi... I've been going through it for so long and she finally found 2 people who were her Soulmates and that just makes me smile I'm so happy that I read this book. Ml bash you did the thing with this one.
This is my first time reading this author's book. I like the Barron family and what they're into. I love all their names, and I enjoyed meeting Knight and Nova. I like that they were from the beginning interested in making their arranged marriage work. I felt bad for Casmi she was in a tough situation. I'm really not into reading about lesbian and multiple partners that don't interest me. Other than that, I thought it was a wonderful book. I look forward to reading about the other two Barron men.
Knight is the man when I say thank you for my man!! 😍 This story was so good!! From the beginning Knight stood ten toes down for Nova and I love that. The fact that he quickly realized who she was as a woman and a wife and NEVER tried to change her…whew. Watching this triad come to life was amazing to read. The love the support the caring they are one of my favorite triads to read.
This was a wonderful beginning to the series. Knight is a man any sane woman would want in her corner, bed (lordy), and life. The dynamic between the main characters is beautiful and believable. But the bonus is the relationship between the brothers. I cannot wait for the rest of the series but I feel like Rook’s story is going to be bananas and I’m here for it. Ms. Bash did the thing. Get this book!
Mannnnn that was so good. I loved every dynamic played throughout this book. I loved how each relationship wasn't forced even though it initially was brought on that way. I loved how each character showed growth throughout and loved how Knight was ten toes down for his family. In every way. There was no getting away with anything. He was a true protector. I'm looking forward to what's next from the Barron family.
I mean MFn Knight! This story was amazing! From the plot to the characters and the family dynamics. Awe it was good and kept a smile on my face the entire time.
Knight was so up front and a great listen! And he talked you through! IYKYK!
Also, what happened with Wes? Was there a talk we missed? It’s hard to believe Knight just allowed him back in
But truthfully giveme Rook! Because he is a true character
Great beginning to a family saga! I really like Knight but I loved Nova. She was everything ! I loved the badassness about her! I can’t wait to continue this series
I loved the character development in this book. I liked how she didn't rush their relationship. To me she let it build. She expressed the importance of counseling. And baby their chemistry was off the chain.
I loved this story—the love, the trauma, the redemption. It was all so well written and developed. I can’t wait for the rest of the stories for this family.
I loved EVERYTHING about this book. The characters, the world building, literally everything. I sincerely hope we get more Barron Family books (speaking directly to you here, ML Bash) 😁
I actually read the blurb for this one and was still not prepared!
This is the first organized crime book by ML Bash that I have read, and she did NOT disappoint. Knight Barron is turning 25 which means he will enter an arranged marriage which is tradition. Now as a reader this is obviously not my first rodeo when it comes to the arranged marriage troupe, however I was really pleased to see the rules/guidelines/vetting that is put into matching the couple.
Knight's parents went above and beyond to make sure his wife was everything he needed. A partner to be both his peace and motivation.
I adored Novalee. She is hella badass. I can't tell ya'll how many times her reaching for, checking, or pulling out her gun was mentioned. Her gun was her favorite accessory. She did not come to play. Right from the jump I was a fan of her and Knight together. Which is why I stopped and re-read the damn blurb because why would Knight be entertained another woman as indicated in the blurb??
After re-reading the blurb and peeking at other reviews I saw that this is an FFM!!!! WHATTTTTTTTT I was NOT ready for that.
Casmi is married to a POS man who abuses her and crossing the line by disrespecting the Barron Family. She finds herself acquired by the Barron Boys during some family bonding and finds herself with limited choices.
Knight and Nova are her saviors. I thought that I wasn't going to like Casmi being with them because I didn't want to see a broken woman with Stockholm feeling as if she owed them. But ML addressed every single concern I could possibly have. She made sure that Casmi did not have a victim mentality and made it clear that she was not indebted in any way. Her feelings were genuine and far from obligation. Casmi's strength was incredibly admirable in this story.
I loved that while Nova was confident and hella bad ass, her ability to be soft and vulnerable was explored.
Last but not least I appreciated the introspective look on society's views on polyamory and the dynamics of it are discussed beyond the physical relationship.
Overall, this was a fantastic read, I look forward to reading the stories of the other brothers. Knight was top tier, I had no complaints. There is a lot of action and family business. The spice is sprinkled within and it's HOT but this isn't a spicy heavy book. Chapter 20 however deserves a freaking award.
It was a good book but certain behaviors had me not wanting to really continue towards the end of the book.
I love that Nova has a voice of her own and can hold her weight. What I didn’t like is that it seemed that she only ever had Knight back publicly when his physical body was in danger. Both times that Knight got into it with someone behind either of his women, Nova chose to call out to Knight to get him to stop—as if he was the one to cross the line, instead of either removing him or checking the person he was getting into it with.
Now I don’t expect for her to even be in arguments when her man is right there to handle it. But as a woman who is very adamant about speaking up for herself and holding her own, you would think she would at least check her best friend for stepping to him when he didn’t need to. He literally did the exact same thing he was berating Knight about. Instead of stopping him, she called out to Knight to relax & then barely checked Wes in private. She should’ve been checking Knight in private if really felt a way about that topic and checked Wes publicly. Then she called Knight again when he was gon burn Wes for overstepping(this part kinda makes sense cause that is her best friend—but still🙄).
I also didn’t think Casmi fit as seamlessly into the marriage as I initially thought. It felt like she just kinda slid herself in there and they were fine with it because they were comfortable taking care of (nurturing her) her. I think they needed more building for it to feel genuine. I kinda started to feel like Knight and Nova would’ve been better off as just a couple, I loved them together. Fuck Dalton, Wes, and Eddie tho 🤗
And another thing…they can never make me hate Knight Barron. That is a man right there. Love me some him 🫦
