A reprobate dad. An innocent son. The perfect crime. A love story you'll never forget.
To avoid paying child support, Billy Luck commits the perfect crime. His son would die, Billy's problems would disappear...and no one would ever know.
BUT, something goes wrong, and Billy faces being put away for the rest of his life. Then the unthinkable happens, and he finds himself sentenced to care for the son he wanted dead.
Surprisingly, a change takes place that no one could have imagined (not even Billy); he learns how to love someone other than himself.
This was a riviting book - amazing - very gripping and emotional. I couldn't put it down. This plot was unlike any book I've read before.
There were so many twists and turns that I just had to keep reading to see what would happen next.
It is unforgetable - I thought about it for days afterwards.
I was sobbing so hard I had to stop reading it several times. When my family asked why I was crying I told them they just had to read this book. They weren't sure they wanted to end up like me.
This was one of the best books I have read. The story was so powerful and had such a beautiful redemption story. This was one of the only books I have read where I have cried. My only complaint is that there is no sequel.
