this book isn't for me. it wasn't realistic with the characters and their development. it seemed as if there was a lot going on in a short space of time and it didn't make sense. I DNF'd.
This is my first read by Autumn Rayne and the storyline consumed my attention throughout the book. The MMC Trent, the FMC Michelle, as well as the secondary characters, were given vivid personality through well written descriptions and good dialogue. This book is about discovering that things are not always as they seem, home is not necessarily a place with walls and family is not always by blood but of our choosing. Forgiveness and acceptance are attainable if sought after with enough fervor. This is a romantic suspense with material that may trigger some readers.
