This book was just as good as the first! I just love a good crime/thriller 🤷🏻♀️ Molly Black tells these stories very well! Once I start I don’t wanna stop until I’m completely finished 😌 again, my only real complaint is the editing… PLEASE get somebody else to do it… just awful 🤦🏻♀️ if these books were submitted as work for a writing test… FAILED 🙄 which is just wild considering they’re PUBLISHED! It’s not even about being grammar crazy or anything. It’s all the he instead of she or using the wrong name after a person finishes talking, completely misspelling names and various words, and again with the Jack/Jake thing… luckily that one I’m already used to but damn… it’s like, can you at least read over what you just wrote when you finish a chapter? That’s really all it would take 😂 just clear carelessness happening and it’s quite annoying tbh 💁🏻♀️ do better, Molly.
Sincerely, a bitch who is tired of having to go back and reread sentences to figure out what the hell you’re talking about. 🫠
Book two in the Tessa Flint series. This time they are hunting a killer who leaves a distinctive snowflake pendant on his victims. The victims are winter sports athletes and it takes lots of deduction s to narrow down the suspects. It turns out handy that Tessa feels no pain when struck her poor partner isn’t quite so lucky. Things on a slow burn between the partners still. Lots of action and the emotions get stirred up dealing with the families of the victims.
Again, in this second installment, there are many typos within this book. The storyline, while good and entertaining is almost verbatim the same as book one, only a different item the killer leaves behind with the victims. I think I'll be taking a break from this author to knock off some other books on my list. I hope if I do continue, that further installments aren't basically the same.
