Remind me not to use this book again next year. The writer is not a style i can get much out of & i find myself wonder what or why she brings these topics to the meditation. Yes I was disappointed .

Thought provoking reflections, meditations, and prayers based on the Mass readings for each day of Advent and Christmas. This little book provided good prompts for discussion for our church women's group this past Advent and Christmas season.

Very enjoyable, particularly liked reading reflections that mirrored the readings at Weekly mass. It added depth to the readings and sermons. I agree with Jess's review that the theme gravitated to women. Note: Received my copy free from my church.

Supposed to have finished it tomorrow, 1/12.... decided to read the last page today. This year's Advent book was more based on stories and inspiration of women. I really liked the theme this year

Picked this up at St. Placid Priory and enjoyed each daily reading. It’s perfect for advent lectio and meditation.
