A perfectly serviceable book about Travis Kelce, America's Favorite Boyfriend.

Here are some Travis Kelce Facts that I did not know before reading this book:
- He and his brother were so SPORTS that they broke windows in their house! And their parents didn't mind!
- He and his brother went to the same college
- He lost his football scholarship to said college because of his use of marijuana
- But then he worked hard and got his scholarship back
- He used to play Quarterback before he lost his scholarship
- He and his brother were the first brothers to compete in a Super Bowl on opposing teams! (I think I knew this once, but the memory had a half-life the length of one football game)
- He and his brother have a podcast
- He hosted SNL? Like, even before he and Taylor Swift were a thing?

OKAY IT IS TRUE I KNEW NOTHING ABOUT TRAVIS KELCE BEFORE TAYLOR SWIFT, AND UNTIL TODAY KNEW VERY LITTLE ABOUT HIM OTHER THAN WHAT I LEARNED BECAUSE HE WAS ADJACENT TO TAYLOR SWIFT.

It's true, I'm basically a tween girl.

This is a kids' book about Travis Kelce, a famous player for the Kansas City Chiefs. It talks about his life growing up, how he got into football, and how he became really good at it. The book shows how hard he worked to become a star and win big games like the Super Bowl. It's a cool story about how Travis followed his dreams and became one of the best football players. This book could be used in grades 2-4. This could be used for a project where students choose a famous person and give a creative presentation about this person’s life and accomplishments. It can be a group project or alone. They can present using a presentation, a poster, a video, a play, or anything else approved by the teacher.

3.5 stars. This was a very current biography of Travis Kelce. It talks about how he was a little bit of a trouble maker in school and how he's turned it around and taken things more seriously. It talks about his weed usage and I didnt love that, but we are Travis lovers around here so the rest was a fun trip.

I actually learned a few things. I think it's good to let kids know that success includes failures along the way. Kelce actually got kicked off his college team for drug use. He changed his ways and got back on the team but not as a QB but as a TE. Not a bad read, just quick and easy.

This was actually an entertaining book for children about a football legend. I learned a lot about him besides the bit I knew. Very well written and perfect for a kid or adult who would like to learn more about Travis Kelce.

I love Travis Kelce, and it's not that this book was badly written or anything, but it also didn't contain any information I didn't already know. The writing was a bit bland and dry, compared to some of the other books in this series. It was worth the quick read, but it wasn't all that memorable.
