Sylas Seabrook holds a degree in Mathematics and minored in Computer Information Systems. In 2020, he left the technology industry to pursue his dream of writing, publishing his first book, Arter, in 2022.

The Rise of Tribinius Cantus is his current, most popular project. It tells the story of a bipolar 16yo boy born without his limbs who stands to inherit one of the largest corporations on Earth, but discovers an 1100 year old secret and pledges to expose it to the light of day. This epic 10 book series takes us on the wild journey of Tribinius Cantus as he uncovers the truth, risks it all, and is forced to discover himself. It has an ambitious release schedule of 1 book every 3 months for 3 years, culminating with the book Jarev Reyes. The final book in the series carries a lofty promise: "Spoilers. Jarev Reyes knew them all. Anyone who read his story would know where it all began and where it all ends."

The Rise of Tribinius Cantus holds a special place in Sylas' heart as it has a bipolar main character--Sylas is bipolar. One of its goals is to take the reader inside the mind of a bipolar person to help build empathy in a disorder which is difficult to understand.

Fantastical worlds, new species and civilizations, imaginative takes on familiar tropes, and much more await those who join Sylas' journey into fiction. Come join us!

I adored The Ementhian by Sylas Seabrook. I pretty much went in blind and was so pleasantly surprised about how much I enjoyed not only the story but Sylas’ writing style. With interesting characters, great friendships, and ample action, I drifted off into this world and easily felt at home. The mental health representation was presented so honestly and down-to-earth. Having suffered with mental health issues most of my life, I felt seen in a way I never have before. I can’t wait for book 2 on audio!

I listened to the audiobook, which is wonderfully performed by Carlos Kasse. Carlos did such a fantastic job with character differentiation. The story flowed flawlessly, and I was easily immersed in the story by his performance. He also has a great female voice!

This book was amazing. The story was engaging from page one and the world building was fantastic. I was never bored or slowed down by overly verbose writing and overall the book was fun to consume. There were some heavy topics discussed in this novel and I would recommend understanding any trigger warnings before diving in if needed. Furthermore, I appreciate how these topics were addressed and that the story did not feel overly heavy even with their inclusion.

This novel was my first read by Sylas Seabrook and I adore this author. The writing style was easy to read and the prose was beautiful with amazing imagery. I would highly recommend both The Ementhian and Sylas Seabrook and I look forward to the next book.

What an amazing book. It was I can’t put it down. A different take on how we see the feature. A 16 year old boy with no limbs and has bipolar with the struggles he in-counters and the in-depth look into what it is like to have bipolar is incredible. But having an amazing friends to help him along the way the support system is amazing. Looking forward to reading what comes next for team Trib

This was a great book! I am not usually a sci-fy type reader, but this was really enjoyable. The representation and emotions and thoughts of a person who is diagnosed as bi-polar was really well written and in a digestible and even relatable way for those that do not have that reality. There was a way to empathize with emotions and feelings - it was understandable. I enjoyed that the chapters were short and quick paced. The way the love interest is built up in a sweet way, and all wrapped in the mystery of the world Trib is inheriting... very well done. Tackling right vs. wrong and ease vs. hard reckoning. I was so excited to keep reading when I got to the end because it was MOVING!

Great ya sci fi

On Earth, more than 1,100 years in the future...
Tribinius Cantus is a 16 year old, descendant of a business empire and a source of great power. He is also bipolar and hears voices in his head, no wonder then, when he's flushed with power he gets a god-complex.
Keeping him grounded are his besties, Ahnd and Liv, and a very mysterious coach.
Is his father good or bad and where exactly does the power come from?
This story has all the emotional angst that teenagers experience... only in a much cooler world than one we know.
Great concept, interesting plot, young vibrant characters and a pace perfect for young adults.

i told the author this woulda got 6 stars if some certain people would have confessed their love sooner.
alright, this book was amazing. I was a little nervous cause it was a longer sci-fi book and it's not my genre, but I was impressed, especially with Trib who is dealing with bipolar and had an episode that had me thinking about what my doctor said to me. It made me see, maybe i need a lil more help than i think.
anyway, the storyline, the characters (especially Ahnd) were amazing. I wanted more by the time it ended and want to read book 2 asap.

A deep book that doesn't drowned you in the depths. Great with plenty to enjoy for fantasy fans!

I have to say, for once I was surprised by a plot twist! This incredible world has captivated me! The three main characters are so relatable I was brought nearly to tears several times by their internal struggles. The villains have depth. Are they TRULY villains? Ultimately, yes. There are so many great lines, but I'm trying to choose only 1 as my favorite quote. Here it is: "... so long as my motivations don't cross with your's, you can trust me. "

I enjoyed many story elements. I love the cool things the vapor makes, the relationship between Trib and his dad kept me wanting to know what happens next there, and the character development of Liv was great. But the real kicker was the amazing ending to this book that has me begging the author to release book 2. Well done, Sylas Seabrook.

What a fun sci-fi ride! I loved the futuristic city setting. This book was action packed from the very first chapter! The characters are very compelling, as is the plot. This is a very enticing beginning to what is sure to be an amazing series. I can't wait to get to the next one, except that I'm hitting up the prequel first. The Ementhian gives a good dose of Tribinius Cantus, but now I want the backstory on Ahnd! I can't wait!

Very good YA story about a bi-polar dealing with ups and downs while overcoming a society full of half truths and lies. I love the sci-fi technology. I hope to see more in the future books. The only question is, will he find the truth he is looking for!?

Hang on you your kindle this is going to be a wild ride. This book starts off fast paced and doesn't let you down when it comes to pulling emotions for deep within your soul. Trib is an extremely relatable character and his experiences resonate deeply within me as I have chronic depression. You will not see the ending coming but when it does it will hit you like a ton of bricks. This book is well written and concise. You won't be wanting for more action. This is the definition of a page turner. If you're looking to adventure to a new world full of interest and intrigue look no further. The rise of Tribinius Cantus will have you hooked and craving more.

I could not put down this book, forget about chores or errands. I did not move from my couch until I finished it. I hope the next book comes out sooner than later! This book elaborates on how the bipolar diagnosis affects the character and makes it so we as a reader can relate to the struggles he goes through, while still being a social media persona, and the inheritor of one of the major companies; while somehow taking on an even bigger quest!
