Rate this book
Secrets of Fascinating Womanhood - Creating the Perfect Marriage This book will help you how to unlock all the love and tenderness in your husband. A book you will never forget. Discover with Angela, the beautiful teachings of the world famous “Fascinating Womanhood” course that has saved thousands of marriages. Inside, read how you can ... • Save your failing marriage. • Make your good marriage better. • Unlock all the love and tenderness in your man. • Develop your full potential as a woman. • Increase your self-confidence. • Feel happier, more lovely, more feminine. “One of the best books I have read on the subject of marriage and womanhood – I couldn’t put it down.” Nancy Campbell - Editor “Above Rubies” magazine. The Promise of Fascinating Womanhood When you sincerely apply and consistently live all the ten secrets revealed in this book, you will awaken deep feelings of warm and tender love in your husband. He will respect you and fiercely protect you. He will even adore you, and treat you as a queen. The Warning of Fascinating Womanhood When you begin to live Fascinating Womanhood, you walk a path of no return. Your man will never again be satisfied with the old you. Use restraint Apply Fascinating Womanhood with restraint at first, and with purity and sincerity, especially Secret Number Two. Let your femininity unfold and blossom naturally, just as a fruit tree blossoms in the springtime. If your husband should ever suspect that you are insincere, or just acting a role, he will not be able to respond fully to you. Your relationship will not bear the wonderful fruit possible with Fascinating Womanhood. Fascinating Womanhood is an immensely powerful force for good in your marriage. However, it also gives you the knowledge to manipulate men. Please strongly resist any temptation to abuse it in this way. Forgive yourself for past mistakes You will almost certainly come to realise that you have made some mistakes in your marriage. But there is nothing to be gained in continuing to blame yourself. Mistakes are learning experiences and stepping stones to future success. The Real joy in life can only be experienced by first passing through sorrow. The poet Kahil Gibran “When you are joyous, look deep into your heart and you shall find it is only that which has given you sorrow, that is giving you joy. The deeper that sorrow carves into your being, the more joy you can contain.” THE PROPHET The numerous True Experiences quoted in this book are extracts from hundreds of letters in the files of Helen Andelin, founder of the Fascinating Womanhood course. Only names have been changed. Angela’s story is based upon actual events, but names and details have been changed. Angela and her teacher are both Christians and this account reflects their Christian beliefs. However Fascinating Womanhood works for women of all beliefs and cultures. All that is required is trust in the wise plan of a loving God, and humility. No particular religious viewpoint is intended to be expressed in this book.

Oh, People who dislike Helen Andelin are hopeless (& humourless) romantics :) they sure make our world an interesting place! :)

This is a novelisation of Andelin's Fascinating Womanhood & it's supposedly based on real stories of women who applied the principles of Fascinating Womanhood.. After much nagging by my hubby, I watched the last episode of House of Cards last night & I'm also almost half way through Robert Greene's The Art of Seduction! Oh Dear! It seems to me Proper and Respectable Mrs. Andelin knew a thing or two about intellectual and emotional seduction ;) except of course she's a good religious lady so she present it as 'doing the right thing before the Lord'! Read it with an open mind & a sense of humor! It's not like I'm leaving my job tomorrow or stomping my feet like little girls..

I am one who has to finish a book once I start it, but I got permission from a few people who told me life is too short to read a crappy book. I finally said no more about halfway through it. If I could have given this book 0 stars I would have. It is very Debbie Pearlesque. There is a lot of manipulation going on in unlocking the love in your man. Pamper him when he comes home from work. Don't say anything that would upset him. Better yet just to leave him alone for about an hour before he comes to the table for his meal that you prepared for him with the groceries you bought with his money because you don't work. You only stay home and take care of his children and keep the home clean. You can only buy something for yourself if you save money by shopping for groceries wisely. If he's had an affair, own your part of it. What did you do to make his eyes wander? Forgive him and vow to do better. He should ALWAYS take care of the checkbook and the bills. The wife never needs to know or stress about the finances. That's his job. Don't gain any weight and never look frumpy. What if it still doesn't work? There will be plenty of bitter, angry women unhappy that their shenanigans did not change their husbands after all. Do this and our husbands will worship us? Um, no, thanks. I want my husband to worship Jesus. There are too many marriage books out there to waste time on the bad ones. Lots of grammar and spelling mistakes too. It's like no one edited it. I highly recommend Sacred Marriage or The Ministry of Marriage instead.

There are some really great things in this book and some really bad things. It’s quite quirky! Really interesting to learn more about the teachings that started the Fascinating Women movement to combat feminism. Definitely be very discerning. The original author was a Mormon wife.

The ideas in this book will work in all relationships with people in general. The secrets in the book will change you instead of the other person. I learnt to think before I respond to any person. This book should read it with an open mind, otherwise it can make one think that the author wants women to be door mats.

The timid and coy woman, who is still trapped in the biblical cocoon of naive submission and worship of men, will love Secrets of Fascinating Womanhood: To show you how to unlock all the love and tenderness in your Husband by David Coory. Why? a). because the book makes man the centre of everything; b). the woman is always wrong, the one to make the relationship/marriage work; c). everything the woman does is to the gratification of man, including sons and brothers; and d). it talks of the woman being dependent on the man (I wouldn't want that).

DISCLAIMER: Don't waste your time poring through all the pages, just go to the last five pages and read the summary.

Since one (wo)man's meat is another (wo)man's poison, the fanatic housewives would love this book, and I would say: go for it; because, honestly, there are quite a number of pointers for a happy marriage (let's agree - give the devil his/her dues).

Terrible, old fashioned sexist drivel. The author has many presumptions about both sexes, almost all of them strange and negative. I was also appalled at the number of times he stated that women should look and act like little girls, especially girls under 12. Wonder why he wants them to do that? Gross and insulting.

Eye-opening!

Secrets of Fascinating Womanhood has opened my eyes to things my husband has been saying for years that I just didn’t grasp. The book had a way of making it clear and plan. I always wondered when the scripture says that wives can win their husbands over. I understand it now. So thankful to have found this.

Beautiful, eye-opener. A must read for any woman who is about to enter into a relationship. This book is more like a manual, an everyday guideline, something you can never say, you have finished reading it. Its a must have, its more like your "hand-bag, you must carry it with you!!!

Interesting read. The concepts are a bit old fashioned but some are still applicable in modern day relationships. A mix of good tips and practical examples but some outrageous notions that would not be received as kindly by women AND men in today's world.

I'm a little appalled at the position encouraged for women in this book. The book came highly recommended about 5 years ago, and this year I finally quickly read it.

I would say it has a couple of ideas that will work for human relationships in general, which include a husband. And ideas that will work very well in relationships with our children.

What I have trouble with is the implication that a woman's main life objective is to be loved and accepted by her husband, for her to be easy and loving and trouble-free enough for him to enjoy her company. I don't know...I thought there was much more to a woman's life.

I read this book along with Fascinating womanhood. This book helps bring womanhood and femininity back to the forefront. The world has become toxic and the roles of men and women have suffered. The book should be read with an open heart and mind. It may seem ‘old fashioned,’ but that is exactly what we need in a time of great strife. We need to get back to the root of how powerful women truly are and how we need men as much as they need us. Life is about balance, this book gives us that balance once again.

I would recommend to read the "Secrets of Womanhood" for every women. Though I think it is specially important for those ladies who are willing to work on really changing themselves (instead of trying to change their spouses). It is not enough only to read a book. The 10 principles will work for improving the relationships only if the ideas are applied in practice and are used for the life.
