Lexi has always had a fascination with wild things…

The last few months have been… interesting, to say the least. After being abducted by aliens, crashing on an illegal pleasure planet, and joining a rebellion, Lexi is now tasked with piloting freed slaves back to their home worlds.

With one last stop on this latest voyage, she fully expects the trip to the primitive world called Shakti to be quick and routine, but this backwater planet holds more than its share of surprises.

Namely, a Heliosian slave.

Massive and beastly, they’re known throughout the galaxy for their viciousness. So why isn’t she terrified when this feral male with deeply intense eyes drags her back to his den?

Lexi is fascinated with wild things, but this monstrous alien may prove untamable.

Slavery is the only thing he’s ever known…

5th Born of M2V-47’s 3rd Litter has lived a life of subjugation and obedience. Abandoned on this alien world, he has one drive the natives from their forest sanctuary by any means necessary. For half a century, he’s followed that directive, alone, forgotten.

Until she finds him.

Capturing the little female wasn’t intentional, but now that he’s got her, can he ever let her go?

Slavery is the only thing he’s ever known, but to keep Lexi, he must learn to be more.

It's literally painful to put this book aside, the first 3 of the series being some of my favorite books of the genre. But this installment has all the problematic parts of those 3 and almost none of the endearing qualities.

There's still the listing of emotions that the FMC can "see" on the MMC's face/in his body language. I was able to ignore that previously. It's just accentuated here for some reason. Maybe because the plot isn't distracting me as much.

Here we have a great character: Ghost. He's our Bad Guy from earlier in the series, but we learn he's a slave controlled by a collar. Abandoned here for 50 years with his mission to collect the Shevari, he's lonely, touch starved and depressed. His mission is distasteful but he's powerless to stop it. He's a clueless, awkward, little, furry virgin and I'm here for it. And that's where my joy ends.

The first thing that bugs me is he has no idea what she is and has never seen anything like her. Really? You cannot tell me that he's never seen Lily. I thought he was the one who attacked her in book 3, but I was mistaken. Still, Lily was pretty prominent in the fight against him. You're telling me he never saw the strange, pink, short, furless female running around in clothes? Especially in contrast to all the 7+ foot, nekkid, white and black striped people?!

And then the romance was just chucked out the window. He gets aroused, she gets aroused and then he loses control and lunges for her, tackling her down to lick her...through her suit? I'm confused. Then he runs away, appalled at his behavior. She is so keyed up that she, in a strange, dark cave filled with wild attack beasts, masturbates. He comes back, gets horny again, she gets horny, then he runs away and she masturbates again. Like, within 10 minutes of last time.

It's possible they're some sort of fated mates, but I'm just pulled out of the story by the lack of romance and her lack of self-control.

TL;DR - I wasn't feeling it.

Sweet SciFi

I was really rooting for Lexi and Ghost in this book. Their story is sweet and does feature some miscommunication, but overall the story doesn't have too much angst or drama. Compared to other books in the series, this story is also less action-packed. You could read this book on its own without reading the others in the series, but I think it's better if you read the other Chosen books first since so many characters from the series appear in this book.

The latest book in the Chosen series! I skipped a couple of the earlier ones as the premise didn’t strike me as much, but when reading this one it felt like something I would enjoy! Unfortunately, it had its fun moments but also had moments that made me bored with the plot line of this particular book. However, I did think the premise of Ghost being stranded on this island was fascinating. The way he had to slowly drown out the voices of his masters as he tried to right the wrongs he committed against the people of the planet was interesting. The relationship lacked some depth but was good for a quick read on a rainy afternoon.

How long before another book release, please? I can't get enough from this world. Thanks, Stacy, for giving us a glimpse of Lily and her mates and their people. I want Lily to have a baby. 🙏🏽

Sweet and spicy

Gosh I just love this series so much. I’ve re-read the other 5 books far too many times. I’m so glad it’s continuing with the other ladies!

I really loved this one. It’s so sweet and very hot and it’s the perfect palette cleanser in between any darker books.

Love this couple. They were both slow to have a relationship but it was so nice seeing how he was all in right from the beginning, thinking up ways to make sure she kept him.

She was a little slower to understand he meant to stay with her but when she figured it out it was such a happy moment.

Totally looking forward to more Chosen books!

A super cute and heartwarming read for Valentine’s Day! I loved revisiting this world and tying up a loose end with Mr. Ghost “werewolf man” and Lexi! I adored their love story greatly!!! Also, finally Skaa got to be back with her family! And the elder Shevari was vindicated! I loved all the callbacks, Lily finally got her toothbrush, and Aria and co. cameos!!!🥰🥰🥰

It was such a sweet addition to the world of the Chosen series.
I was curious of the werewolf that Lily saw with the pantari in one of the earlier books. Finding out that the poor guy was a mind controlled slave that spent 50 years on a mission for a dead master was heartbreaking. Ghost was such an awkward guy at the beginning that I was worried he would never get it on with Lexi ;) thankfully he worked through the mess of his feelings and fears, with Lexi's help of course. As he was born to the slavery he couldn't fathom that she didn't want him to be her slave, from the beginning he tried to show her that he would be a good slave for her and worried how he was fucking things up ;) Lexi had to spend a long time with Ghost to finally got into his furry head that she wanted to free him, in which she fell for him, hard. How could she not? The guy was giant, yet so caring and careful not to hurt her that he melted her heart. She loved helping people, caring for them and bringing them back to their homes and families, so their big hearts fit perfectly together. I loved Ghost's sass when he got used to his freedom, he was adorably funny.
I hope for more stories in this universe, I'm invested in Lor's wellbeing, he seemed like a nice guy.

Even in your wildest dreams you never thought your new reality would becomes a nightmare. Lexi is a strong woman who feels responsible for the situation she and her passengers now see themselves in. Despite her leadership skills she is now chartering the unknown. Her survival skills are abundant but lacking. When she is separated from the rest of the females her adventure leads her to a mysterious figure she can only describe as alluring. Her instant physical attraction to him questions her own sanity.
Ghost knows that the time has come to leave this formidable planet. For decades he's been alone, put here to do one thing and one thing only. When he stumbles across a female he knows that the two of them must work together if they want to succeed.

Their interactions with communication is limited but entertaining. the chemistry between the two of them is undeniable. The adventure that awaits them can only be described as epic. This slow boil volcano is about to erupt.

So much passion and empathy was put into this story. You can feel the authors emotions shining through. Another amazing read Stacy!!!

The Perfect Conclusion

Finally Chosen and Taken are one! I loved the convergence of these two series. I also love Stacy Jones’ enviable ability to tell small stories just as well as epic ones. There are literally two characters present for the majority of this book, but it felt just as important, just as vital as books like Protector and Aria’s Ascension, which had huge casts of characters.

Also, the spice in this one is spicing. Whooo boy.

There wasn’t a single thing about this book, I think, that I didn’t like.

Unfortunately, learning it was written during a particularly difficult time for the author makes me wonder if they’ll continue with the series. I would completely understand if they couldn’t do it anymore, but I hope continuing it brings them joy instead. Not just because of my insatiable love for this universe, but also because I’d want the author to have that for themselves. A place of peace they can retreat to.

Regardless if this is just the most recent installment or the final book in the series, it’s been one hell of a ride and I will always, to anyone, recommend these books.

These will eventually be part of my physical bookshelf.

Wow, Stacy… you did not come to play with Found! 😍 This book is an addictive blend of adventure, sizzling romance, and jaw-dropping twists that had me glued to the pages.

Lexi’s journey is bold, chaotic, and completely fascinating, from alien abductions to rebellions, forbidden worlds, and unexpected connections. And let’s talk about the Heliosian… massive, intense, and absolutely unforgettable! The chemistry between Lexi and 5th Born? 🔥 Let’s just say I’m still fanning myself.

Stacy has this magical way of making you feel every moment, the danger, the tension, the longing. The world-building is rich, the pacing is flawless, and every chapter pulls you deeper into the Chosen universe.

If you love stories that keep you on the edge of your seat, full of heart-pounding moments and untamable passion, Found is a must-read. And yes, I’m already planning my reread, it’s that good.

It was an easy read. Lexi and Ghost were fine, though I don’t have much to say about them. I enjoyed the brief interaction between Lexi and The story also introduced a lot of new information and characters—just enough detail to spark interest without going too deep.

This book, along with the previous one, seems intertwined with another series. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was meant to spark interest in the Aria series, since it’s set in the same universe. I’m not in a hurry to read it, but it has definitely made me curious.

I’ve got to say, I was so happy to return to this world. It’s one of my favorite, so thank you for that Stacy! Lexi is quite the spitfire. She is thoughtful and caring for others. She sets out to free Ghost, but she gets more than she bargained for. Ghost has been abandoned for years. I loved finding out about the Pantari he was with, too. He is a slave and has no other mindset, so Lexi has her work cut out for her. This is a ‘he falls first’ scenario. Throw in close proximity and you get some spice! We were introduced to some new beings that I hope to see stories about, as well. I liked that this story was lower angst and more laid back. Found was a wonderful adventure and well worth the read! 4 stars, 3 spice!

A heartwarming story!
This is the story of one woman’s love for one male. Only he will do. I adore Lexi! She loves the work she does, cares deeply for the welfare of others, and always treats others as equals. Ghost is awesome! It takes a while for him to become accustomed to his changed circumstances, but with that comes a wonderful relationship with Lexi. Some extended one-on-one time with Ghost makes a very satisfied Lexi! Do read to see what develops in this delightful love story on an alien world. It’s excellent! I’d love to see more stories in the fascinating world of Shakti!

So sweet

This story was so good and I lived Ghost. Lexi was nice but she was the main issue for the 4 stars. After all she's lived through, she is still so reckless to the point that it's slightly too much. She also never believed Ghost he wast leaving until the marriage proposal? The man is chemically bonded to her and its impossible to break yet for months she still expected him to leave??

Also, if they can heal, why disnt anyone offer Lily the chance to be a mom she wants so much?

This really is one of my favourite series, and this book didn't disappoint. The creativity and world building always just captivates me. Even though its been a while since I read the previous book in the series, its felt all so easy to picture and pick right back off when I started this.
There really was a sweetness to this one too, and it's not something I tend to enjoy in a book too much but for me it just worked.
I always appreciate this authors work and this series just allows the reader to just escape and be transported elsewhere.

This sixth book in Stacy Jones’ Chosen Series is so very good!! It made me laugh. It made me cry. It made me FEEL. I absolutely love this series and I adore these characters. It was so much fun getting glimpses of characters from other books in the Chosen Series and also from the Taken Series and seeing how they all fit together in Stacy‘s highly imaginative world. I look forward to reading anything else that Stacy writes. She is a one click author for me, and always will be!

Gah! I loved it!

This is such a great addition to the series. It's a little more fluffy than the others but it funny and adorable and exactly what I needed. A fun, sweet, sappy love story between a human and her alien that brought a smile to my face. I adored Ghost and thought the pair were a perfect match. And to take this book over the top the cameos from other characters were amazing.

Found is a lovely story about being Found. Found for who you are, just as you are. Being found worthy. Being found worthy of forgiveness and a fresh start and most of all, being found worth of love. I absolutely adored this story. There was not a lot of drama or action but there was so much heart as two beautiful characters found each other and themselves. I wholeheartedly recommend this book and happily and voluntarily reviewed it.

The Chosen series is one of my favorites!I never realized until recently that the Chosen series and the Taken series are taking place in the same universe. So I did a reread of both series in reading order to fully immerse myself in the world.

Found was absolutely intriguing! I didn’t want to put it down! Loved Ghost and Lexi, they found in each other the perfect everything. Their story was one of love, healing, acceptance… and passion.

I was also intrigued by the water guy Lor.

My first 5 stars of the year!

I devoured this book. I accomplished nothing today while I read this. Didn’t eat, barely drank, one word responses. I loved this book.

I loved these characters. What I really loved was Ghosts small changes, to his speaking, to his handling himself, to him becoming by a free male.

I giggled, and swooned, definitely fanned myself, and a lot of smiling at my kindle.

The story of pilot Lexi and Heliosian slave Ghost. He’s a big, scary beast, she’s come to rescue him from slavery. You can imagine the rest.

I liked this story. It was light and easy, set in a lush tropical setting. I’m only knocking off stars because it was a fated mate/instalove story and those lack the buildup snd tension of ‘will they? Won’t they?’

It was an easy read though so I’ll probably read all the others!

Kinks/Tropes: aliens, primal play

Thoughts:

This one had more tension and less spicy scenes than the other books. However, the sexual tension between the two MCs was perfect! I am hoping for another book, but if not I think the series ending perfectly!

I would 100% read this series again and will be looking into the other books this author has written!

I love this world. I really liked this couple as well. Could have been more story, worldbuilding etc instead of the spicy scenes. They were too many.
Regarding when the author wrote this, it was incredible. And I hope there will be many more books in this series with all those promising plot branches...

great story!

This was a spin-off I didn’t know I needed! I love both of her series, and they came together so perfectly for this book. I had been curious about the Pantari trainer, and his story is so perfect, absolutely loved him. I am curious about if we will get another story for the aliens in the water, I’d definitely read it.

I was looking forward to hearing the werewolf man's story, but while his backstory was a little interesting, the romance in this one fell flat. Too much telling without showing, mostly erotica, instalust. I need to see the relationship build to be into it, and there was nothing to grab onto here. No conflict really.

great read

Stacy provided another great story that included other characters from her other books. The story flowed beautifully including other characters from past and present. Once I started reading it was hard to put the book down. Lexi was such a strong relatable character. Great writer

Such a feel good book! To be sure there are references to slavery of all types and abuse. This story though is about overcoming those circumstances, learning about what freedom means, and all encompassing love. I highly recommend this book and author.
