2.5 stars. This is a short book, which is good because when you are going through tough times you really don't have the energy to do a lot of reading. I can't remember reading any examples that really fit my situation, of people dying suddenly and not having made proper provisions for the survivors. It is more stories of people with lots of friends who do things like come over and help with kids or bring meals. This does not apply, but the stories were nice and there were a few good quotes at the beginnings of the chapters. The spiritual lessons apply to compassion and empathy, not focusing on loss.
Another amazing book everyone should read. Shows you ways through illness, loss and grief. Through stories and discussions approaches the issues most people try to avoid - how to help a friend, family member or acquaintance through illness without making things worse. Very helpful.
