After a decade in the beautiful Rocky Mountains, Jenna now focuses on her writing in her New England cottage where she enjoys gardening, hunting for sea glass, and perusing local book stores.
Novellas are bittersweet for me. I love them because they are short, to the point and you get to the thick of everything, but I always find myself wanting more. Wanting to know the characters more and where their relationship takes them. That note aside, I loved masked!! I didn't feel short changed on things (other than wanting more of Adriana and Cain's story) and that it was told and written incredibly well.

WOW! Talk about sexy! Masked grabbed me from the start I just wanted to keep reading. It’s is short and oh so super sexy it gets right to the point and takes you on one heck of a ride. My only thing is that it ended too quickly for me I wanted more to see where things might go don’t worry it’s not a cliffhanger at all it’s a very well ended story. As soon as I finished I contacted Jennifer to see if she was going to write another part to this story, she it is very possible that we could see more of Adriana and Cain’s story. I am seriously hoping there is more to come!
I love Jennifer’s books I have followed her work and she is fantastic loved every minute of each of her books. Great Job Jennifer!
Very short story that ends like it will be continued in another book. I am not sure what plans the author has for this book but it would be better as a series or to revise with an epilogue to tell the readers what happened to the characters. Adriana is a woman that has been hurt in her past so she prefers to have one night stands to actual relationships. This works until she meets Cain with just his voice he captivates her and when their night is over Adriana rule has to go out the window. Cain is a very rich and powerful man that sees something in Adriana that draws him to her unlike any other. This is a really good short story that I would recommend to anyone.
I typically don't read a lot of novellas because I feel like they lack a lot of character development which hurts the story in my opinion. This was not the case with Masked, though. I loved the fact that in just five chapters, I felt a connection with the characters and it left me wanting more. The sex was steamy, the dialogue was edgy and these 45 pages will be 45 pages I don't soon forget. Thanks for the great read, Jennifer Culbreth! <3
Jennifer Culbreth’s “Masked” is a bit of sexy candy. A quick read, you could definitely use this to get yourself in the mood for some hot lovin’. I love the chemistry between Adriana and Cain. Culbreth added just a smidge of domination to tease you even more. I wish this was a full-length novel! Can’t wait to see what else she writes. My only small complaint – the editing was a little rough – get a better set of beta readers next time.
A hot and sexy read of what one night of ecstasy can turn into. I suggest reading this while you are alone, bedroom props are optional, and some ice water handy to cool you off from it's steamy scenes. Loved it and I want more!

I've been following Jennifer Culbreth for a while now and have enjoyed all her book's. this was an unexpected treat. A short Erotica, sexy, hot and steamy, I enjoyed it other than the fact that it was just to short, then again it was a short Exotica. I totally loved it, and recommend.
Review: I enjoyed this novella from Ms. Culbreth. It was quite descriptive and had a good point behind the title, Masked. We all wear masks, whether they be physical or mental. The protagonist, Arianna, in the story brings her best friend to a masked party (think of "Eyes Wide Shut") where they can let go, get laid and not have to worry about looking back. Having your heart broken time and time again will do that to a person... grab that life switch and turn it off. That is until Mr Gorgeous Green Eyes comes into play. She's instantly allured by him and learns his name is Cain. The next morning, her sister calls her out on "swinging" with the billionaire. At this point, I found myself losing interest in the story. I've read quite a few of the average girl (some curvy, some "ugly") getting the billionaire bachelor who refuses to ever settle down. They meet at a masked party and he immediately knows who she is (there are reasons as to how he does, promise, he's no stalker). Now with my words above, I'm NOT telling you to not read it because, honestly, I did enjoy it. I am seeing a lot of this type of story going around these days. I would have given this five stars if not for this. Ms. Culbreth did a great job at telling her story.
Synopsis: Sometimes life's easier when you live it behind a mask. But what happens when someone comes along and makes you want to take that mask off?
I've read all of Jennifer's books and devoured them. This one is no exception. Although it's a short story it's a fantastic story. It's oh so hot. Certainly ideal as an adult bed-time story:) Well done Jennifer on another fantastic story:)
I was really enjoying this read. Very hot, right up to the very end. The end, it felt like it cut off mid thought. I'm not saying wrap it up with a nice little bow but SOMETHING. Other than the ending, it would be a five star!
3.5 stars. Book started out great but then seem to zoom through character development. There was definitely more to the story but the author seemed to be in such a hurry that I felt like I was reading a checklist of erotic steps.
