Bear Willis: Mountain Man: Get Off My Mountain!: A Mountain Man Adventure

Rate this book
The sixteenth Mountain Man adventure in a series from Peter Alan Turner!

“Bear Get Off My Mountain!" is a gripping tale of revenge, land disputes, and the fight for survival. A year after forcing Juan Costas to retreat to Mexico, Bear Willis faces an unexpected threat when Juan's brother, Aravo, discovers that land Bear believed to be his own is not. This unclaimed land is the source of a vital stream supplying water to Bear's ranch.

Aravo Costas legally acquires the contested land and begins the construction of a dam, jeopardizing Bear's ranch and livelihood. The tension escalates as Bear Willis must confront the challenges of reclaiming what he believes is rightfully his. As the battle for control of the mountain unfolds, loyalties are tested, alliances are formed, and the characters must navigate a treacherous landscape to determine who will ultimately emerge victorious. Will Bear save his mountain and ranch, or will Costas succeed in choking off Bear’s water supply? Will the mountain man fight Costas in court or in the mountains?

Writing has always been a lifelong dream. Finally, at 71 years young, that dream became a reality. I am honored to be part of Dusty Saddles Publishing, the leading publisher of Western Novels. Currently, I have several Western Series on Amazon: Chet Henderson: Texas Ranger Adventure Series, Bear Willis: Mountain Man Series, and Willie McGee: Mountain Man Series. Along with a co-write with my granddaughter.

In creating my Westerns, I wanted to do three things, be authentic, create likable characters, and tell a good story. With a lot of hard work and prayer, my books have been well received, so, I must be doing something right.

I live with my wife of fifty-three years and our cat Moxie on Rattlesnake Ridge. We are lucky that our children, grandchildren, and great-grandson all live close by. When I'm not writing, I enjoy woodcarving, fishing, and pampering my classic Jaguar.

I donate a portion of the profits from my books to Veteran charities, including the Veteran’s Independence Project.
