So close, yet completely beyond reach… Damien and Jill get along brilliantly as colleagues and as friends. They spend endless days under the bright spotlights of the reality TV show set where they work. Just friends, without a hint of something else.
But, Damien yearns for so much more. His insecurities stop him from acting on his feelings. He pushes her away when he really wants to draw her closer.
Obviously Jill only sees him as her chubby and nerdy BFF, right? Unless...
An emotional roller coaster of unrequited love, Best Friends Forever asks the age-old question: will they, or won't they? Can friendship lead to true love? Read on now to find out.
L. Moone writes steamy romance about big, brooding and devoted men who fall fast and love hard.
Her heroes might think they’re unworthy—but that won’t stop them from losing their hearts. Whether husky, grumpy, or cinnamon roll sweet, they’ll do anything for the women they love. And the heroines? They might act fierce and independent, but they've already melted just for him.

This is my first book by the author and while I enjoyed some things the story was very short so I felt some things were very rushed. Jill and Damien worked together and were in love with the other but they never knew. The first half of the book they keep working together without revealing their feelings and just at the end they realized they had feelings for each other so they getting together happened very fast in my opinion.
In general it was a good story but I’d love to read more about their relationship and everything else.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book.
Jill and Damien deliver love with a twist. Moone gives unrequited love a testosterone driven makeover that is all heart. Best Friends Forever is a delightful look at heartache from the male point of view. A positive message from a different perspective.
Back at Pinewood Studios where Decadent Desserts was filmed until truth and scandal revealed the real star of the show. Now instead of the show must go on, it's the crew must continue. Part of that crew is best friends Jill, the assistant to the producer and Damien, a camera man. Secretly in love with each other to the point they are the only ones that don't see themselves as a couple. Things heat up when given the assignment to do interviews for the upcoming new reality dating show... after a drunken, uncomfortable slip of the tongue from Jill. Damien is a big boy and feels that he isn't Jill's type and is now hoping to move on by trying to get into the rough world of dating to get over her. Little does he know, he's exactly her type caring, honest, loyal and absolutely loveable. What happens when the strain becomes too much on their friendship and the truth finally reveals itself?? Great characters that have that slow burn and keeps you turning pages with his/her POV. Loving the big boy twist to this series!! I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book and purchased a copy for my favorites collection. In so looking forward to the next story in this series... could it be Daniel!!!
This is book two in The Big Boy's Do it Better Series and it is Jill and Damien's story and it is a must read. Jill and Damien are best friend's and they also work together and would do anything for each other regardless of the situations but what happens when feelings get involved and they can't do anything about it as there friendship is the most important thing for them. Will they ever take a chance and step out of there comfort zone or will they just stay friends and miss out on something or only time will tell. I definitely recommend you read this book and series and you will definitely not be disappointed as it is a really great story about opposites attract and loving someone for who they are and not what they think they should be and it is definitely worth reading. L Moone is a brilliant author and writer and I can't wait to read more of her books in the future.

Quote: “Life's too precious to have to spend it alone.” ******************** Tropes: Friends to Lovers, BHM novella ******************** Triggers: Fatphobia, Negative Self Talk, Explicit Spicy Scenes and Adult Language ******************** I was looking for more, I guess. The switch from a plus size female lead, to a plus size male lead was the hook. As much of the story as we got was well written, but it was rushed. It starts out reading like the beginning of a full length novel. It felt like the author poured into the narrative until she decided ‘enough, put them together.’ Overall, it was okay, but not enough to make me want to try other titles by Ms. Moone.
Movie rating R, cover design 3/5, overall 3/5, romance 2/5, violence 0/5, and 3/5 spice.
This was my first book by this author and also my first book with a big boy hero. I was pleasantly surprised on both fronts. The story was short, so I tempered my expectations a bit, knowing there couldn't be as much story fleshing as with a longer book. Jill and Damien were the sweetest friends, and you really felt for them because they both loved each other, but didn't feel like they could tell the other. The way they came together felt so organic and beautiful. It was a really lovely story.
It's an interesting read, these husky men and the women that love them. Jill and Damien have been best friends for a while and I loved that about them. My only struggle is how insecure they both are. I'd like to see a little bit more confidence in themselves. They do have a good back and forth, and a great connection that's been built.
I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
This is the 1st book I've read written by L. Moore; I can’t wait to read more of her books.
This is part of the Big Boys Do It Better Series; it is a stand-alone book. Jill & Damien have been best friends for a long time; they each want it to be more but neither is willing to try. The one time that Jill did suggest more she was drunk and he thinks that was the only reason she suggests it.

I really enjoyed Best Friends Forever book 2 in the Big Boys Do it Better by L. Moone. Jill and Damien are best friends in love only neither knows how the other feels. They also work together, Jill as an assistant producer and Damien is a cameraman. If you like friends to lovers romance, you will definitely enjoy their story.
L. Moone's Best Friends Forever is part of the Big Boys Do It Better series. This is a sweet best friends to lovers story with fun characters. A touch of angst, but much more sweetness and some heat... this is a great story. I think I need to check out the rest of the Big Boys series.
3.5 stars A best friends to lovers story featuring a bigger hero who falls for his co-worker and friend. But will he take the chance when opportunity sends them to Glasgow? Will events conspire to bring them together?
The second book in the Big Boys Do It Better series a best friends to lovers story by a new Author to me. I enjoyed seeing Jill and Damien get their happy ending. I want to read the next book. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
