Fiona Davenport continues to be an author that I just love. The writing duo of these to always create a spicy novella, with lots of feels and heart and swoon. I love their stories I can’t get enough. And this one might be my favorite of this entire series. It has football, it had a grumpy sunshine feel, it had a hero who only melted for the heroine, it had so much sweetness and fire, and I couldn’t get enough. I loved everything about Finley and Rhodes so much. They were perfect for each other, and I loved every word of their story. I cannot wait for the rest of the series to continue because I am addicted!!

Rhodes is a football player for the Nighthawks at a gala event he meet Finley and instantly falls for her. Their attraction is mutual. He asks her to dance but are interrupted by her uncle Lennox who just happens to be Rhodes boss, the billionaire owner of the team. He threatens Rhodes and tells him to stay away from Finley.
Not wanting to cause a scene Finley leaves with her uncle and aunt. The next day she goes to the stadium hoping to catch Rhodes when he leaves practice. She is a new college grad and has been busy with graduating early so she never made time for boys and has never been interested, until Rhodes. He sees her waiting and they exchange numbers and plan a date. Everything goes well and they start their relationship, which includes sexy times. She’s a virgin he’s been celibate awhile. There is lots of dirty talk, breeding talk, and lots of possessive “you’re mine”. Rhodes wants to tell his boss about them but Finley tells him they should wait until after the Super Bowl to talk to her uncle. They sneak around and spend time together.
She attends the championship when she finds out her uncle won’t be attending, but he shows up and Finley tells him about her and Rhodes. He’s not happy and tells Rhodes he’s not good enough for Finley and he must not love her since he was hiding them. Rhodes explains and proposes to her, but she tells him not to propose because of her uncle, she tells him to do it when he’s ready and she promises to say yes. I love yous from both of them. He tells her he always planned to propose, he had a ring for her already.
At the Super Bowl he finds out she pregnant, uncle Lennox grumbles about her being pregnant before being married. Rhodes makes her a bet if they win the game she has to marry him in a month, if they lose they will wait a year to get married. Of course they win!
Cute epilogue, married ten years with six little girls.
I liked that they were both all in from the start, no games or misunderstandings. Even uncle Lennox caves quickly giving them his blessing.

I really enjoy this series. While they are all quick insta-love reads, it's fun to lose myself for a couple hours with these characters.
Rhodes, just like others on his team, takes a hot second to decide that Finley is his forever. Doesn't matter who she's related to, he's all in.
Finley has little experience with guys, but finds herself quickly wrapped up in all things Rhodes. They find an easy connection to each other, and their steamy scenes sizzle on these pages.
I enjoyed the chemistry between these two, and his sweet claiming of her, for his own. I recommend reading this series in order to have the best experience without spoilers, but you could read this as a stand-alone if you choose.
I was fortunate to receive a complimentary copy of this book and I happily leave my review. This author duo consistently delivers engaging and easy to enjoy books, and I recommend exploring the other titles in their catalog as well. I look forward to the next one!!

This is book number 10 of the The New York Nighthawks series and focuses on Rhodes and Finley. Finley is the niece of Lennox, the owner of the Nighthawks, who is extremely protective of her. When Finley goes to a charity gala with her uncle and his wife, she has an instant connection with Rhodes. Unfortunately, Rhodes is a player on her uncle's team and when Lennox sees the two of them enjoying a dance, he throws up serious roadblocks for them with some threats made. Rhodes and Finley know they are meant to be together and don’t try to stay apart from each other. They try to hide their relationship until the end of the season but they don’t try to slow their relationship down any. They know what they want and are both determined to get their happy ending together. This was a great story and a great addition to the series! I can’t wait to see what the rest of the series has to offer.

Insta Love, Possessive Alpha, Football Player, Owners Niece.... this book had everything I needed and more. Finley is the niece of Lennox Madison, owner of the Nighthawks and very protective of his family. So when Finley catches the eye of Rhodes Channing, Lennox is quick to try and scare him away. Too bad for him, Finley watched him fall for his wife and she wants what they have.
I loved that Finley took matters into her own hands and found Rhodes. She wasn't afraid to go after what she wanted. Rhodes wasted no time showing Finley what it meant to be his. I loved their connection and how they both went out of their way to make it work. Especially when they both stood up to Lennox. This book had all the spice that we expect and love from FD. I especially loved the scene with the couch and the jersey!!!!

I fully enjoy this story cuz I love forbidden(not even a little 🤣) like love story. Rhodes didn't expect that the woman who would be his is actually the niece of owner of the team. He is also a very alpha male which kinda 🥵🥵 . Finley is a independent woman who strive to live and make her own decisions in live and to see their love for each other is out of this world🥵. To see Rhodes reaction to keep there relationship to themselves is a very respectable cuz he doesn't want to keep it a secret but he does it cuz Finley told him to. It shows how he really respects and love her (swoon 😍).
I just can't wait for the next book to read and review 😍😍

Loved it!!! Finley just finished college and is ready to start her adult life. She is attending a gala with her Uncle Lennox who happens to be the owner of the Nighthawks. While at the gala she meets Rhodes. He is an offensive lineman for her uncle's team and also the first person to spark her interest.
Rhodes doesn't know Finley is related to the owner of his team. He just knows shes meant to his! But now they need to figure out the right time to tell her uncle all while Rhodes is helping the team making it to another super bowl.

This Duo once again definitely delivers on this insta-love story.
Rhodes immediately takes a liking to Finley and that’s that. I love that he knew what he wanted and didn’t play games, no matter if there were consequences or not.
I love that his friends are there and we get to see their knowing looks because they’ve been through the same things. Also, i lived for scenes with Glynnis - i love an old lady who is with it and has so much humor.
I was luckily gifted an early copy and I’m happily leaving a review. I love this duo for a quick easy read.

This was a short yet steamy book. I loved Finley and Rhodes together. All it took was one look for Finley and Rhodes to fall hard and fast for each other but Rhodes’ boss/Finley’s uncle stand in their way. I really enjoyed the instant connection and chemistry between these two are well as their devotion to each other. There is a little bit of drama but these two are able to get an HEA. I am really looking forward to the next book.

Oh my goodness. I loved Rhodes! He was so possessive and obsessed with Finley. He was so good to her too. Their chemistry could not be contained. It was that hot. I absolutely adored them together. I loved how everything happened, the timeline. Rhodes did not waste anytime making her his. I really loved both characters. And actually all of the secondary characters too. Lol. I'm really excited for more from this series.

The book was okay. It follows the same recipe as all their other books and, of course, uses the same vocabulary. I'm disappointed that all of their books are starting to sound redundant. All of the heroes in a selected series have the same voice. If a book were written with all of them together, beyond their experiences, you wouldn't be able to tell them apart. I was so excited when I first found this writing duo because I'm a huge Alexa Riley fan, but their writing is starting to fall short and lose my interest.

Finley & Rhodes are instantly a fun & sweet couple! I love the way she goes after what she wants. 😁 Rhodes is all in from the moment he catches sight of her, so no complaints there, either. LOL
I also enjoyed seeing Lennox in overprotective mode. He's a hoot! I mean, we already know this, but I just always adore when he comes on the scene.

I enjoyed the New York Nighthawks series. Was happy to see that there were going to be more books added to the series. Rhoades and Finley were great characters. The book was very enjoyable. Can't wait for the next book.

I love the books that Fiona Davenport writes and this series is one of my favorite ones of them.
The story follows Finley and Rhodes and I liked how their relationship progressed and how they acted together.

There must be something in the water at this football team because Rhodes is like the rest of his team mates in that as soon as he lays eyes on Finlay he falls hard and fast and nothing will stand in his way
