This football series just makes my heart so happy. I can’t get enough of these spicy novellas and everything that Fiona Davenport creates with these characters. Each story is consuming, sweet, spicy, and delivers in every way. I cannot wait to continue on with the rest of these books, and getting all of their stories! These are the perfect quick and spicy read, and I truly can’t get enough!

My reviews always contain spoilers, I write them so I can remember the story.
Gage (SpreadOffense) and Rory (AllaboutTheStats) meet while online gaming. The Nighthawks are putting out a new multi player online football video game and Rory is a beta tester. Gage is the running back for the team and is playing the game too, the players were told to keep their identity secret so Rory does not know who SpreadOffense really is but she has started having feelings for him. The have been playing a while and have become online friends and have even flirted a little. They have cute nicknames for each other, he calls her Nerd, she calls him Geek. Gage who has not been interested in dating or a woman for a long time starts to have feelings for Rory, which causes conflict in him when she sees a beautiful woman at the stadium.
Rory is a college student who is brilliant with statistics. She has written a data visualization program for the her class project for the college’s baseball team. The Nighthawks ask her to modify it for football and offer her an internship on their stats team. While touring her new work place she is spotted by some rookie players on the field, Gage hears them commenting on her and takes a look, he is immediately attracted to her and feels guilty because of his feeling for his little gamer. When he meets her face to face he finds her even more stunning and he finds himself physically becoming aroused by her presence. When they are introduced they hears each others voices and realize they know each other. Gage does not waste any time and they have dinner at her place. Things get a little heated but Gage slows it down telling her it’s not only about sex, he’s in it for the long haul with her.
Rory gets to accompany the team for their first away game after she is going to visit her parents before retuning the New York. Gage works it so they can travel together to her parents and then charters a plane to get them home. Meeting the parents goes well, after her brothers and dad make sure he understands that if he hurts her…he tells them he will never hurt her. The plane ride home is very steamy, he gives her oral and then they join the mile high club. She’s a virgin, he’s been celibate a long time. When they get home he moves her in with him.
Things are going great for them until Rory’s boss sees them at the stadium together, he’s worried about their relationship and calls a meeting with Rory. She tells Gage about her bosses cold behavior after he saw them and he lets his coach know and the coach lets the owner, Lennox know. They all show up at the meeting and let Rory’s boss know that there is no problem that the two are together. Gage says that’s good because he loves football but Rory is more important than the game to him. They exchange I love yous and he later proposes.
Epilogues with them married and him buying the perfect house to raise a family, years later with Gage retiring for football, they have a daughter and a son on the way.

I have read few books from this series but haven't actually reviewed them. I feel like sports romance books are hit or miss for me so I'm careful which one I read but this one didn't only have a sports romance aspect but also gaming one so I was curious.
Gage Ledger fell for Rory without ever meeting her in person. He hasn't been interested in anyone forever so he's confused when he sees a woman from afar and is instantly attracted but the moment she speaks Gage knows that they are the same person. I loved how no matter what Rory did, Gage found everything about her sexy. Her voice conjured dirty fantasies and he just loved it when she rattled off football stats.
Rory was a perfect fit for football player Gage Ledger. She wasn't just sexy but also funny and incredibly smart. They completed each other. She wasn't afraid to tease him and he wasn't afraid to talk about their future together.
All in this was a great read. I am glad I decided to request this ARC and these two characters fit so well together! I know insta love isn't for everyone but if you enjoy them and sports romance I'd suggest giving this one a try. It might be part of the series but every book in this series is a standalone.

This is book number 11 of the The New York Nighthawks series and focuses on Gage and Rory. Gage and Rory met when they were invited to be betas for the new football video game the owner of the Nighthawks was developing. They couldn't give each other their real identities and only knew each other by their gamer tags. They both felt the connection and slowly fell for each other during the beta testing phase but didn’t think they’d ever meet. Gage is a starting running back for the Nighthawks and Rory is a statistical analyst intern for the Nighthawks and when they reconnect and realize that they found the person they fell for online they jump right in and neither one of them let anything stand in their way. This was a great story and a great addition to the series!

I loved this novella and this whole series is amazing!
Rory left home to go to college and get away from her over protective brothers..she's living her best life, going to school, getting an internship with the Nighthawks and beta playing a video game...she has no idea the guy she plays the game with is none other than her crush, Gage.
Gage is a football player for the Nighthawks. He's playing the video game with a girl that he really likes but knows he can't go after because no-one knows he's playing the game.
When the game is finally done being developed, Gage has to make a decision and decide if he's willing to take a risk if he tells Rory who he really is..and how will she act? Will she be happy or mad that he kept a secret from her???
This was a great book that ties in with the series so good! Fiona (Elle and Rochelle) have done it again!!

A gamer/athlete/smart meets another smart/gamer is a out of this world. They met in a game that wasn't even out yet and they got close to each other even though they don't know each other. Gage didn't expect to see Rory in person even though he wanted to meet her personally. Under a circumstances a very once in a lifetime project has landed to Rory that she cannot refuse to use in her studies. Gage didn't expect that meeting "Nerd" after the game would actually come true 🥰. After there meeting you could see there attraction to each other is hot and I love seeing the love for each other is really lovely to see ❤️.
I can't wait to read the next book of this series. 🥰🥰

I really enjoy this series!! These insta-love stories are entertaining and addictive!
Every Nighthawk team player falls hard and fast for their chosen woman, and I really enjoyed how these two characters connected! Rory is absolutely adorable and gives as good as she gets with Gage. I appreciate his respect for her abilities and how his Alpha tendencies didn't overpower the connection. They are just so cute together.
I don't think you have to read this series in order to enjoy any or all of these, but I do think you should. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author (thank you ❤) and I happily leave my review. I recommend reading this series and any of the other offerings from this talented author duo.

Another great book in the NightHawk Series! Rory is an intern for the NightHawks because of her project in the field of stats. She was able to beta test a video game and was paired with Gage. He is a player for the NightHawks but Rory doesn't know that. Gage is shocked when she starts to develop feelings for the girl who is beta testing the video game with him. Then when he sees Rory he likes what he sees but feels disloyal to the girl he was beta testing with. As soon as Rory and Gage meet she they realize they already know each other. From there their relationship is on the fast track until their relationship comes to the attention of Rory's boss.
I loved this book, it is the fast paced, insta-love Ive come to expect from a Fiona Davenport book! Anxiously waiting for the next book!!

The insta-love queens are back at it! I’ve read the entire series and watching these guys fall one after another is so fun. Gage and Rory are so great for each other. They “met” while playing an online game and without knowing who they actually were, they formed a bond that they both looked forward to everyday. Fast forward and the game ends and Gage meets this beautiful girl and just one word and he knows this is his “nerd” that’s he’s been missing like crazy. And she knew he was her “geek”. Rory was sweet and innocent and she fit well into Gage’s life, with his friends who also fell hard and fast. The nicknames were cute and fit their gaming meet-cute. Overall, this was a cute, quick, and lovely read.

Gage & Rory are another fantastic addition to the Nighthawks series. I loved their connection over gaming and how it carried throughout the whole story. Gage is much like the rest of his teammates, when he found the one for him there was no turning back. Even though he didn’t know her beyond her gamer tag, he knew the instant he heard her voice it was her. The woman of his dreams.
He was spicy and I loved the scene on the jet!! That will live rent free in my head! I also loved that Rory was just the perfect amount of sassy and still managed to keep Gage on his toes.

I love these football players! Gage was freaking perfect. 😍🥵 I loved the premise of this. The whole gamer, not knowing the other's identity, etc. It was awesome. I loved when they finally met in person. The spark between them, gah! He was so sweet, protective and bossy. Simply the perfect MMC. Rory was great too. She was sweet and smart. Together they were like pb&j. I love this series and I'm super excited for Cole's story. He already had my attention in this one.

The spice hits and the love these over the top cavemen posses for their women is so fun to read! I’m so excited to finally get to read Lennox’s book when it comes out ! It was in an anthology and being re worked so if you’re wondering that’s why!

I seriously love this football team! When these guys fall, they fall hard and quickly! Gage and Rory kind of, sort of met each other online. Their real life meeting was absolutely life changing - for both of them. That was the beginning of them as a couple. Super steamy, super cute. Their nicknames for each other were awesome! I totally loved this happily ever after!

Rory started off as just a gamer in the beginning but she turned out to be so much more. I love that maturity when it came to their relationship. Gabe was a super nice guy and even though he was a little hesitant to reach out to his gamer partner, he lucked out and found her in his home turf

I love it when gamers are in my romance books. As a girl who does not possess the skill set to be a gamer (but always wanted to be one), it brings me so much joy when characters are gamers. I love the online banter. Gage and Rory were so stinking cute. Their story was funny (omg.. her brothers 🤣🤣), sweet 😍 and definitely filled with spice 🥵.

I loved this addition to the series. I enjoyed the dynamics of Gage and Rory. They met over a football video game. Rory had no clue she was playing against football player Gage. They were perfect together. Can't wait for Cole's book next.

The moment these two met and knew who each other were based off their voice was so cute. As always Fiona Davenport pulls through with a fast and steamy sports romance that is very easy to read. I love these crazy football guys all falling like flys!
