This is an alternate-cover edition for ASIN B008FF75QE.

Beau and Edgar have been best friends from birth, but couldn’t have had a more different start in life.

Having finished school for good they make plans for the summer of a lifetime but a tragic accident cuts their dreams short and lands them in Heaven facing a stark choice.
Do they want to stay in Heaven and train as spirit guides or reincarnate into a new life?

For Edgar the choice is clear: having had a miserable existence once before he is in no hurry to try again, for Beau the magic of Heaven is no match for real life. But his heart overrides his head and Beau agrees to stay with Edgar. They begin their training at Heaven High and await their assignment.

When they are offered a secret undercover assignment to protect Emma Havering the boys snatch the opportunity to live as humans once again. With their colleague Gabe, Emma’s Guardian Angel, they attend East Lake High but soon become suspicious about the nature of their assignment and who Emma really is. Their curiosity leads to repercussions that test the limits of friendship, loyalty and the very existence of East Lake.

For Beau and Edgar, keeping Emma safe might very well rip them apart.

i stumbled upon this book while looking thru a new books site and decided to give this series a try. i was taken back by this book and instantly fell in love with all the boys in this book.

this book is about 2 boys who are best friends. Beau and edgar. they just finished high school and were both planning a trip to europe. both came from totally different family, but there mothers were best friends. ed came from nothing. no father and mother had to work 2 jobs to support them and he still went to bed hungry. Beau and the perfect rich family and could have anything they wanted. well, one day after school they decided to go for a road trip as far that they could get away. little did they know it would be there last trip

being awakend in a white room and greated by a man in a white robe they were both confused. they were told that they had died and that they are in heaven. the man told them they could have anything they wanted all they had to do was think about it. now ed was having the time of his life thinking about couches, big screen tvs, and even a theme park! beau was taking back by it and decided to join in on the fun. they were then told they had 2 choices to either go back to earth and live totally different lives or they can stay here and be a spirt guide.

ed had conviced beau that they should stay there because they can have whatever they wanted but still help people. beau didnt know what to do but decided to go along it with. the boys were greated by an angel named gabe. all three of them went to training to become spirt guides. the boys called it "heaven high" not only 3 days after there training the 3 boys called pulled out and told that they were going to start there first mission.

the 3 boys had to appear as humans and watch over a girl named emma. she was the key to heaven. now the 3 boys had to find a way to fit in whithout being noticed and befriend emma so they can keep an eye on her. gabe never been a human and had to learn fast how to fit in. now being introduced to tv and romantic movies he swooned emmas best friend and now have the key to befriend emma. emma falls for beau and thinks his job is easy.

everything bad starts happening and the boys couldn't figured out what it is was, but they can feel a bad prensence. being able to control time helped them keep emma safe. now they now someone in east high is involved but guides and angels cant see evil. now will they get emma to help them figure out who is behind the evil and can they keep emma safe and keep the key to heaven safe before all hell breaks loose?!

Ok, found this and it was free so I thought, why not :) am sooooo glad I did!! I loved getting to know Beau and Edgar, and the introductions to Heaven was surreal... Anything you want just there.. ! I loved that in their classes for being guides they witness the birth of a child, which so happens will be their charge to watch over! Loving the introduction of the angel Gabe and his confusion in being around Beau and Edgar! Must find book 2! :)

if you can overlook the occasional spelling and grammatical errors then what you get is a pretty decent read overall. I enjoyed it and could see myself reading more in this series.

Like most paranormal books, this one is your typical good vs evil trope. The only difference is it isn't just angels against the evil forces of hell, there's spirit guides too. Two of which are our main characters, Beau and Edgar, who died when they were eighteen without an actual explanation of how. The reader is told what happened, but not how it happened. Their death really irked me because there was absolutely nothing to explain how they went from being fine to being dead.
That wasn't the only rushed portion of this book. Instead of this series being written as one continuous story, it seems to be written as three separate stories featuring the same main characters. Which wouldn't be a bad thing if this book didn't seem so rushed. The ending was incredibly anticlimactic, and I won't even get into the amount of errors that are in these pages. And I'm not referring to the fact that this was written in proper English and not American English. The story is rushed so much, it's akin to watching a movie at its fastest skip second function. There are a lot of plot holes due to this, almost nothing exciting, not even pg romance, because of how quickly the flow of the story is.
The only reason I'm even going to finish this series is because I bought the other two books, the story has a lot of potential if it were reworked, slowed down, and lengthened.
I give this book 3 of 5 Paws because I see its potential to be something great, it just isn't there as it is right now.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Heaven High offers a creative twist on the afterlife with a blend of high school drama and angelic missions. The friendship between Beau and Edgar is the emotional core, and the celestial storyline adds intrigue. While some plot points feel underdeveloped, the concept is imaginative and compelling enough to appeal to fans of YA fantasy with heart.

I got this book for free on a FB page as I was intrigued by the outline of the story.
It is actually quite a decent read although designed for young adults.
Two friends are killed one night in a road accident and find themselves in heaven which seems pretty cool to them as they can conjure up anything their hearts desire [ except their families].
In Spirit Guide High school they are given an important job to do and with the help of Gabe, the guardian angel of Emma they do manage to save Heaven and the world

wanted to give it a 2.5. plot was okay. bit confusing to me. glad it was free.
NEEDS BETTER EDITING. I actually found a half completed sentence in here. ending felt really anticlimactic. idk. this book just didn't do it for me.
