Tommy Sampson was just a boy when Earth invaded Belron. The feds said it was because the Earth delegation got eaten by cannibals, but everyone knew that was just a good excuse so Bionic Power could get the mining rights to the FTL crystals. When Tommy turned eighteen he enlisted in the Army. Replacements were sent into the fight as soon as they were trained, and Tommy was no exception. As a medic Tommy's job was to save lives. As a soldier it was Tommy's job to end them. Which job he had to do depended on the day of the week. Each war has its costs. All Tommy could hope for was that The Belron War didn't cost him his life or his soul.
