There’s only one wound I can’t fix – the one in my heart. Only she can do that. Jaded bastard, King Grump, Club Doc, I go by many names in the Twisted Devils MC. This life has taught me to keep a wall around my heart. Until I meet a ray of sunshine with a battering ram.
Eden helps troubled kids at the youth center. She’s too good for a killer like me. But when I see her being attacked by a stalker, I’m the monster she needs.
But the only way to protect her is to keep her close. And the closer she gets, the more sparks fly between us. Until the only thing left between us are my bed sheets. Her tender touch heals my scarred heart. And I do what I swore I’d never do again – let someone in.
But I may have claimed her just to get her killed. Because the MC is involved in a weapons deal, And enemies are circling like wolves. They’re attacking everyone – including Eden. As club doctor, I swore to save lives. But to protect Eden, I will end them.
'Bishop' is book 19 in the Twisted Devils MC. For fans of scarred heroes and heroines learning to love again. For Grumpy/Sunshine fun. For dark protector vibes and romantic thrillers with a sense of humor. My books feature dirty talking bikers, MC action, spice, spice, more spice, strong heroines, and happily ever afters. This book can be read as a standalone, but for the best experience, it's recommended to read them in order.
I'm a romance writer, currently traveling the world, seeing all that it has to offer, and probably drinking a little too much wine.
I like striking stories. Romances, UF, PNR. Stories about men that move you, heroines with spines of steel, and villains that make your bones quake. Add in some sexual heat and a HEA, and that's what I try to provide.
To say that this book was action packed isn’t quite enough because it was so much more than that. There were so many secrets that both Bishop and Eden had that affected their lives both apart and together that it almost tore them apart. The Twisted Devils MC was hoping to pull off a big deal along with a couple of other MCs and without realizing it at the time by doing this Eden’s life was endangered once again.
I have to shout out to the storyline involving the senior center and Elroy because that was the most endearing plot I’ve read in a long time.
This was a fantastic MC romance with the big burly and grumpy alpha biker and the woman who fought for her own survival both physically and mentally. Loved it and I can’t wait for more.
Cat’s Stats MMC/FMC- Bishop and Eden POV- 1st person dual Genre- MC Romance Heat- 🌋🌋☄️ (1🌋=2☄️). Lots of romance. Series? Y Safety- N. There’s no cheating but there are very explicit threats of S.A., S. Violence, and Physical Violence, plus memories of past S.A. Other triggers include- Language, violence, explicit erotic content, sale of illegal substances by a teen. Tropes- Abused Heroine On the Run, Introverted Hero, He Falls First, Old is Gold, Former Military, Doctor Hero. Mewsings This had heavy stuff. The heroine is fleeing terrible horrors and is still living with fear. The hero is plagued with grief and guilt. The MC is on high alert. But this book was great because of the contrasts. As the hero and heroine are filled with angst, they come together to help an elderly man (who is adorable; Old is Gold) who has been poorly treated by the V.A. System in this country. They give him some joyful, although bittersweet, moments. But there is joy in this book, overwhelming the heavy moments. And the contrast between the heavy moments, the heartfelt moments, and the humor is on point. Because this book is funny. Whether it’s the adventures of Moose and his semi, or Mayhem and his discussion of the merits and hotness of Martha Stewart, there were times when I had to laugh out loud. The humor is what pushed this book from a four star read to a five star. But without the serious moments, the humor wouldn’t be as funny. The author got the balance just right.

I really liked Bishop. His self-blame seemed a little over the top though, like it was just added in for extra angst. (I'm thinking of when Eden confronted him after her snooping expedition.) I have mixed feelings about Eden. She went through a living hell, and I could definitely see her having anxiety and PTSD, but the way she treated Bishop was awful. Even after her friend Maya vouched for him, Eden still chose to see the worst in him. Maya never would have endorsed his presence in Eden's life if he was a bad person, especially as the only other person who knew Eden's history. I had a really hard time picturing them together after that. Especially after her major violation of his privacy. To be fair, he violated hers too by passing her picture around, but since she kept him in the dark, he didn't realize how bad his actions were. While I thought Bishop deserved better, there were other things that helped carry this story. I liked the interactions with the MC brothers, and there was also the weapons deal they were handling. There were some entertaining scenes with Moose and Mayhem, which Havoc and Rabid got dragged into, along with suspense, action, drama, betrayal, deceit, and a little bit of senior bingo.

Bishop is the nineteenth book in the Twisted Devils MC series. He has always been my favorite member of the MC. I was excited about Bishop's story but not happy with who he landed with, Eden (aka Alice). She spends most of the book dwelling on her victimization, becoming the one thing she did not want to be: a victim. She was also quite self-centered and very assuming, even after she got through the scary situation. Bishop deserved a different type of woman.
The storyline is awesomely written. It has the MC action, drama, suspense, betrayals, and twists that make these stories page-turners. In this one, the romance part was a letdown, not because of the actual romancing part, which was heartwarming, but because Eden seemed to irk me with her every move and thought. I wanted to see Bishop with someone who would genuinely partner with him. It took Eden too long to figure out that was what he and she needed. It took some of the realness of the story away for me. Regardless, it is a very entertaining book with believable and relatable characters.

We finally get Bishop’s story!!!!! I have been j trifled by this character for a very long time and was happy to see his story told. His heroine is Eden and she has a dark history she’s running from. I did end up liking them together but only once they stopped with the push and pull. I was hoping it wouldn’t take them so long to get to that point and I think I lost some of my enjoyment of the book because of that. One other thing that distracted me throughout the book was the heroine’s dog. This dog was introduced at the beginning as something so incredibly important to her and yet multiple times throughout the book, she just leaves the dog unattended for days at a time. Even a simple introduction of a neighborhood kid who comes by to feed and care for the dog while she’s at work would have been plausible. It annoyed me so much that I know it tainted how I feel about this story. I wish Bishop had gotten a better tale.
This is Bishop and Eden's story, and it is a very emotional one. Bishop suffered a heartbreaking loss in his past which affects how he lives his life now. Eden's past also affects her life today, she has lived through so much violence and mental beatings that she has a hard time trusting men, specifically men in an MC. Bishop and Eden must fight the ghosts of their past and learn to love and trust again to get what they both deserve. They suffer setbacks, betrayals and pain to get to their happily ever after. There were some very lighthearted moments that brought out a laugh or two-Moose was great, and you just can't help but love the guy, hoping he will get his own book. Also, Mayhem and Havoc had me laughing with their antics and fighting. This was a great addition to the Twisted Devils series and am excited to see what we will get next!
This is the 19th book in the Twisted Devils MC series featuring the very emotional romance between Bishop and Eden. Bishop has lived through a truly devastating and heartbreaking loss that controls how he lives his life today. Eden has also suffered through a lot of mental and physical violent beatings in her past so much so that she has a hard time trusting men especially if they're in an MC. Together Bishop and Eden have to overcome their demons and the ghosts that haunt them from their pasts so they can learn to be happy learn how to love and learn to trust people again. I don't want to say anymore and ruin it for anyone else with spoilers. You really need to read this really emotional story to see what happens. I would recommend reading this book.

Bishop is the newest addition to the Twisted Devil's and it's definitely a great addition. He's the grumpy club Doc and who thought he had built up high enough walls that nobody could break through. At least until Eden. I enjoyed the story, the storyline is very well written and as always I love these Twisted Devil's. In the beginning I wasn't a huge fan of Eden but somehow by the end, her and Bishop just fit. She filled something in him that he had been lacking and he ultimately completed something in her. In all honesty early on in the story I couldn't see how it would turn around and these two end up working but this author had it all figured out and by the end it was evident they belonged together. Book 19 is another winner for the Devil's!
This is the 19th book in this incredible series, and this is Bishop and Eden’s story. Bishop is faded, grumpy, and the club’s doc, while Eden helps troubled kids at the youth center. Both of these characters have heartwrenching pasts, and when Eden is attacked, Bishop is there determined to keep her safe and protected. This is a well written story which is an action packed, emotional roller coaster, with opposites attract, loyalty, humor, witty banter, heartbreak, danger, suspense, intrigue, drama, romance, and love, which leads to an entertaining, tragic, twisted, haunting, captivating, and steamy addictive page turner. Wow, Bishop and Eden! What an emotional story! Absolutely loved it! Bishop’s past is heart wrenching with all he experienced during his service. And Eden’s past was nothing short of a nightmare. The strength and determination of both is overwhelming! I wasn’t sure how these two could find their way forward but they did because they are survivors. And they are stronger together! Great story about a great couple!.

The story is good but needs editor it has inconsistencies that and editor should catch though. When Bishop first came to club they said he was a doctor but in Rooks storyvitbsaid he was a medic in the army in this one he is a doctor/surgeon in the army. Plus it made no sense that he would show someone in an outside MC Club Edens picture when he already knows she is running from someone. But still a good story to read. I also listened on audible. AI audible isn't to bad kinda awkward with the reading of intimate scenes lol.
We finally get some answers to Bishop's background story, along with a new character, Eden Mercer. Her past is a horrific story that threatens her future. The storyline is good, it just stalled for me in a couple of places. Funny and crazy characters, besides Mayhem and Havoc, and honest emotions. A recommended Twisted Devils MC Novel.

Bishop and Eden's heart felt story drew me in with the thrilling twists and turns the story takes. Both are dealing with trauma and trying to move forward in their lives. When he and Eden connect sparks ignite but her low-keyed lifestyle is put at risk when her past comes roaring back with a vengeance. Will Bishop be able to keep Eden safe from her past so that they can get their chance for a future.

Wow. It's almost like watching an romantic episode of Sons of Anarchy. It actually gets back little scary and a lot of good feels. It almost doesn't have a happy ending, like real life, a few times. But the ending is better than I expected. It is unpredictable in some areas and predictable in others. But plz remember don't set expectations. I wish this was made into a movie.
This is an exhilarating read. Bishop is ex military, the club doc and a big grump. He volunteers at the senior center during bingo. The center happens to be next to the youth center where Eden works. They are attracted to each other but have both been hurt badly. Will they be able to bring joy to the other? Read to see what happens.

As strong as she wants to be shs still hanging on to her past trauma and guarding her heart by being witchy and pushing him away. But they seem to come together with a comman goal.

This was a beautiful but also an emotional story. Eden and Bishop carry a lot of burdens, including emotional ones. Together they try to heal and get over it and that is not always easy. But because of the attraction and chemistry and the steam between them, they succeed and they get their deserved Hea.

Bishop and Eden are both still affected by their past and they work through that to get to the futures they deserve. Eden was a little annoying at times but that is because of her past. I really liked the elderly man that they came together to help. Really good book.

It was wonderful reading about Eden and Bishop! They are a couple who were brave enough to work through their pasts to go forward into a new relationship. The extra characters were wonderful as well and richly described so I was enmeshed in this world as the events unfolded.

I've read several books written by Zahra Girard; she is becoming one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of her books.
This is the nineteenth book in the Twisted Devils MC Series; it can be read as a stand-alone book but would be better if read in order. The story is about Eden & Bishop.
Dealing with your past, can make it difficult to trust someone else. That's what happens with Bishop and Eden. This is an emotional story between the two as their past and present torment them. There are times that are heavy and others that just warm the heart.

This is another great addition to the Twisted Devil's MC, Bishop is club doc for this Mc, and he is after Eden and she happens to work for the youth center they happen to be total opposites of one another, but they do share the love and need to help others. Bishop was there to help her after she was attacked by her stalker. Can this man who can kill but also help others that are hurt help her?
A fantastic read. I absolutely loved Bishop and Eden’s story ❤️❤️❤️ They healed each other. I loved and laugh at Moose’s interactions throughout the book, a definite page turner. 100% recommend this book to everyone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ you will not be disappointed 😎.
