Well worth the read. It kept me on the edge of my seat. Very well done. Nice ending.

I gave this book this rating because though a story well told there was a lot of overkill and some unbelievable aspects. Some of the wombs inflicted on these players its hard to believe they lived so long after these things happen to them. The manner of the wombs and methods of killing alone makes it hard to believe these people could still speak. However, like I said before, the book kept me on the edge of my seat, especially when the tables turned.

Good Book

Would have loved to see what the letter read. Samantha is a true solider I was hoping she killed the sheriff. But another cliffhanger like only Shameek can do!

This story began with a high tempered man reading over a letter that changed his loving heart towards his wife and son. ...so he plans a hunting trip in the cold mountains 2get even with the help of some of his old war buddies who owes him their life, thing is shyt didn't go totally 2 plan and the tables were turned which made PATRICK and his friends fell victim 2 his wife Marine training skills.....and some get back 4 death of her son Joshua. Being in the mountains has other dangers...Mountain Lions ( huge 1), so the hunt begins, truths told, loved ones and deceitful friends are revealed. ...All with a twist. I liked the smooth pace there were no holds bared, the killings were bloody, and the victims were horrified. .. but there was no suspense IMO. I'm a fan of SHAMEEK's of course but this story had nothing over my recent story 4rm him called COMMUNITY TERROR...I will mos def read the next installment of DECEPTION. ..no doubt. ..3/3.5 stars on this one.

So Samantha is not that innocent after all. So everyone in this story did have their faults but was death the deserving factor. A group of friends from a small county who served time together didn't see it in their hearts to let Patrick know the truth but when he lashed out abd wanted payback he became the wrong one. Well his tactics may not have been the right way to go about doing things but he did what he thought would have eased his pain. With Samantha still on the loose wii knows what's next. Crazy lady lol.....great read!

Deception by Shameek Speight is an urban horror and thriller.
First we had Black Ice, Hyenas , Dogs and now a mountain lion..( smh)
As scary as I am reading horror books, this author always gets my curiosity and once I start reading I am in for the ending of the book.

Samantha thought her secret would be kept forever, but in this story of deception,Samantha finds herself fighting for her life amongst the ones she loved most, but is she as innocent as she seems?

Excellent book , with great characters and a great plot.

Not his best but, it kept me entertained. Love the twist in the middle of the story. Looks like a part two is coming.

No, not great!

Seriously I could not get with this book. Overly worded, and some of characters descriptions did not match up to things they were saying. This was a horrible read!
