"The Broken Pact" by Sharon Rose Mayes is book two in the "Blood Pact" series. Things had calmed down for everyone after John, Riley's dad had come home and they got her friend back from the Vampires, but like all things it's always the calm that you have to worry about. Through their blond bond Riley and Nick are getting closer to one another, but then a sudden change occurs and Riley ends up sick in the hospital, and it's all Nick's fault. It seems he had a sudden change of heart and started dating Lucy, Riley's high school enemy. She decides to try to break the bond by seeing a witch and that puts her,Nick, her family and friends in greater danger!

What a great continuation to "Blood Pact" and I hope to read more of their stories!
