The Greek revolution against the mighty Ottoman Empire is in full swing. Thousands of volunteers have come to fight for the Hellenic cause. The Ottomans are preparing to crush the revolution and make their rebellious Christian subjects pay dearly. An army of 50,000 men is forming to march through the rebellious province of Rum (Greece) defeat the rebels and make them pay dearly for daring to rise against the Sultan. In the interval, the sultan sends an expedition to punish the island of Chios for the destruction of the Imperial arsenal by an allied Commando raid led by Commodore Meineke and General George Poulos. A similar Ottoman expedition had also occurred in the future timeline which resulted in the massacre of 20000 of the inhabitants and enslavement of thousands. Help comes from an unexpected quarter in the form of German intelligence and aid. Will the Phoenix forces prevent the slaughter of thousands on Chios stop the Ottoman invasion and save the revolution or will the revolution be put down in a river of blood? As the allies fight to save the revolution a new threat and more deadly threat will emerge from the east.
