Mail Order Brides: A Well Punished Wife

Rate this book
Historical Romance Erotica
Mail order brides were not all that uncommon, particularly in early twentieth century Montana where women were scarce. Logan Millard had two children and no wife. He already had his fair share of deceptive women when his wife had run off with a traveling salesman and he wanted nothing to do with women again until he realized he was not capable of handling his ranch and his children properly. Although Logan was ruled by dark desires that no woman could understand, let alone satisfy, he was desperate for a woman to mother his children and fulfill all the domestic duties around the house. Logan was certain a mail-order bride was the perfect choice. He could easily keep his hands off a spinster woman who was just desperate for a husband.
When Carolyn stepped off the train in Crandon, Montana, Logan found himself in a world of trouble. Not only was his mail-order bride young and beautiful, but she was igniting the dark desires that he had tried desperately to keep hidden. Carolyn finds her work on Logan’s ranch much harder than she anticipated and ends up bent over and being punished frequently by the man she married. When Logan starts to realize that Carolyn is not the woman she portrayed in her letters, Carolyn fears her new husband will figure out the truth. Can Carolyn keep her past hidden from Logan? Will Logan be able to trust his wife, knowing she is lying to him?

This book has a great plot and the author does a brilliant job of telling the story. The main characters being Carolyn and Logan, upon seeing each other they both realized there was a pull to each other. These two characters are well-rounded and very likable, both have a lot of baggage that they are bringing in to their marriage and neither one wants to let the other know about it as they think the other shall leave if they knew about it. There is domestic discipline in this book which consists of spanking. There is a HEA to the story and it’s a fairly short read, only 2-3 hours to read but well worth it. This is a quick short read filled with a dominant man trying to hide his dark thoughts. He finds a submissive partner that likes the spanking and punishments by his dominant nature and his aggressive loving. Logan and his mail order bride Carolyn are perfectly suited for each other. She is the perfect wife and mother to his two kids Jimmy and Gracie.

What a sick family Carolyn was placed with after her parents death, that Uncle and and Aunt where suppose to love her not treat her the way they did. Carolyn and Logan's story is well written and one that held my interest throughout.

Fast-paced read with a plenty of drama and lots of steam. Carolyn chooses to become a mail order bride and goes to Montana. Will she find the love she is looking for and what is she hiding? I really liked it.

Logan had two children and a household to run in addition to his own ranch. His wife had run off with a salesman. Logan advertised for a mail order bride and he did not care what she looked like. He just wanted a woman to care for his children and take care of the house. He had no intentions of sleeping with her and put her in a separate bedroom.

Carolyn was beautiful but had a past. Her running away as a mail order bride was an attempt to start over. She wanted badly to do well but really did not know much about ranch life.

Logan thought of his whipping an errant woman as a darkness in side of him that he needed to control. Carolyn found that being shipped brought out a darkness in her that she enjoyed. This book has a HEA.
