I didn't get to finish this book this advent. Of the two sessions I was able to read it was enjoyable. There isn't much "homework" like other Bible studies I have completed. Each session/day was written by a different author from Lifeway. It also gave ideas of things to do with family and children.

Hands down my favorite advent study I’ve ever done! Relatable, easy reading and shorter reflections to account for the busier holiday season. Each week centered around a stanza from Joy to the World. Made this season extra special for me!

This was not my favorite of the most recent Advent studies from Lifeway. While it has some study good, I also felt it was a bit shallow. The video teachers were good but the singer at the beginner of each session was not a style I enjoy so I would fast forward through that part of the video. I felt the studies the past few years were excellent but this one fell flat for me. I got behind with some health issues and family here so just finished the study today. I hope next years study is better.

This book is full of insight and new information. I wish that more Bible studies were like this. The singing in the beginning was a bit forced. She has a beautiful voice it was just awkward. The speakers were really good. Week 3 speaker was amazing! I highly recommend this Bible study!

A typical mainstream women’s devotional. Different authors write each devotion so it’s not necessarily cohesive. Some days were better than others. I did enjoy doing an advent devotion this season.
