Read through the Bible in a year with the CSB Jesus Daily Bible, but unlike other yearly plans it doesn't start on January 1st so you can jump in whenever you want!
The Christian Standard Bible (CSB) is a contemporary translation that strives for a balance between ease of reading as well as integrity to the original texts. The Jesus Daily edition is a great everyday Bible that is perfect for Bible in a year reading, as well as study material with charts, graphics, and articles. Each week section has an introduction and then a summary covering the passages read that week. I enjoyed reading through the charts that brought out themes pointing to Christ, filled with references in the Old and New Testament.
This Bible also includes a collection of colorful maps, bolded text, and a concordance. I think this is a great Bible for daily reading whether you follow the plan or not, a great resource with a lot of great features inside great for people who are always on the go.
Overall, a great Bible for someone who is looking for a little extra structure and guidance, but wants to study in a way that points to our Savior!
This Bible is written in the style of the Christian Standard version. It is very easy to read along with. The author, Dwayne Mililoni has been a pastor for over 25 years he has studied the scriptures. He is currently serving at Open Door Church and he is cofounded of the Pillar Network. The author begins the Bible with a special introduction describing how the Bible was written by over 40 authors over two millennia. The Bible was written to explained how Christ died for our redemption and took our place for our sins. Some of the guidance he had for readers is to listen to what you read, think about what you read, mediate, worship, seek the Holy Spirit, and find Christ. This Bible is distinctive in the fact that is geared to help you read the Bible in a full year. It is built on a 5-day reading plan so that means if you miss two days you still got plenty on time to get caught up. You could also use those two extra days to reread what you read. This is just my idea because I know some readers would prefer to read 7 days a week. But this would be a good workaround for those and would probably help you to learn even more. Each week has an introduction about what you are going to be reading about and there is a special summary at the end of the 5 days recapping what you read. He also has another introduction on the side of the pages explaining who, what, when, where, and why. There are colorful maps and a concordance.
I thought this Bible was very unique in providing readers with the days broken down on where to begin each day throughout the Bible. You didn't have to flip to a special reading chart to see how much to read. There is a checklist you can use but I believe it made it super informal to know what to read. This translation of the Bible is broken down where every day people can understand and not get confused with what the message is in the scriptures. The weekly summaries are wonderful and helped you to recap what you learned. I believe if readers will use this Bible for the entire year, they would see their relationship with Christ grow and you might even catch something new you haven't seen before by reading some of the notes from this pastor. There is even some application section to help readers apply what they learn.
The Bible itself has a golden color ribbon to make it easy to bookmark your spot. The Bible contains black color text with the exception of blue headings. It has a two-column text format and 9.5-point font. It has a presentation page if you're giving it as a gift. It comes in a beautiful blue color with gold design on the cover for the hardcover edition. But there are a few others available in leather and cloth over board.
I received a copy of the new CSB (Christian Standard Bible) Jesus Daily Bible to review. The goal of the CSB version is to provide a clear and understandable translation as well as an accurate translation of the Bible in contemporary English based on The Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia, 4th edition, for the Old Testament and the Nestle-Aland Novum Testamentum Graece, 28th edition, and the United Bible Societies' Greek New Testament, 5th corrected edition, for the New Testament.
I have a few Bibles that have a reading through in a year feature. What stood out about the CSB Jesus Daily Bible is that it has a 5-day reading schedule. This allows the reader to catch up on missed days or to spend the other days in further study and thought. There are features such as a place to check off the completed reading both at the front of the Bible as well as at the beginning the of each book. The summaries of each week of readings are tied back to the reading and how it reflects Jesus.
Some of the highlights of the CSB Jesus Daily Bible are: Read through the Bible in a year—and keep Jesus at the center of each day The NEW CSB Jesus Daily Bible includes a 52-week, Christ-focused, guided reading plan that you can join at any point during the year. The copy Holman Bibles sent to me of the CSB Jesus Daily Bible is the blue hard cover edition. It has a beautiful and appealing cover with luxurious gold embossing. The Bible text itself is the Christian Standard Bible version and is a widely accepted version. The font is smaller than I personally like but is totally readable. The paper is thick with very slight shadowing of prior page typeset peeking through. The Bible is fairly heavy but not burdensome. It lays nicely flat when opened which is very appealing for desk or lap placement and ease of handling.
Versions: While the Christian Standard Bible is widely acceptable and yes, some in my own family prefer it, I am very "old school" and still prefer the old reliable King James Version.
This is a "devotional" versus a "study" Bible. The interpretive writings interspersed throughout are focusing on Jesus as he is found throughout the scriptures. You can begin this study to get through the Bible in a year any time during the year. Divided into 52 weeks and each week has five days of readying and study. That leaves two days off (or to catch up). It doesn't skip through the Bible with random readings. You go straight through from Genesis to Revelation with the focus on finding Jesus in the Scriptures.
The daily Scripture readings will therefore be somewhat lengthy (being divided by fewer days than the standard 365-read-in-a-year plans) and add in the interpretive or explanations, you have a fairly lengthy reading.
Study aids at the back of the book include a very nice and fairly extensive Concordance and a nice selection of color maps.
I have heard sermons that were real blessings to me in the past that focused on finding Jesus throughout the entire Bible - in places a non-Biblical student wouldn't normally see Him. This devotional Bible brings Jesus into one's daily read and understanding of how God has worked throughout eternity in His plan for man's redemption through Jesus.

Have you ever wanted to read the Bible in a year, but didn't consider this goal until later in the year? Don't give up! This CSB Jesus Daily Bible has a 52-week, Christ-focused, guided reading plan you can begin any time during the year!
Why am I so excited about this Bible? It's divided into 52 weeks of reading, so you don't need a checklist to keep track. I appreciate that the suggested readings for each week are divided into five days, instead of seven. If I miss one day or fail to complete an entire day's reading, I can easily make it up in the two spare days! I also love the Summary and Application at the end of each week's plan, along with a Table of Contents, Concordance, and colored maps. My only reservation is that the words of Jesus Christ aren't denoted in RED!
This CSB Jesus Daily Bible is the perfect choice for anyone who wants to read God's Word in its entirety in ONE YEAR. It will help you achieve your goal while keeping Jesus at the center of each day!
I had the chance to review a beautiful blue hardcover Bible with an attractive bookmark. It is perfect for both personal use and gift-giving!

The 𝐂𝐒𝐁 𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐬 𝐃𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐁𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 has a pretty blue hardcover design and a unique 52-week reading plan focused on Jesus.
I read the Bible through each year and like to have a plan, but I don’t necessarily want the plan to be dated (for instance, Jan 1, Jan. 2, etc.) I really like how this one is structured (week 1 – week 52.) The layout is user-friendly, with a 5-day schedule and weekly check-off spaces, making it easy to read at my own pace or catch up on the other two days if necessary. I also appreciate how each week provides a space to check off what I’ve read.
The font is easy on my eyes, and I like the traditional two-column design. The pages are clean white with blue accents and are not cluttered with notes or references. Each book opens a summary page providing a useful overview.
This is a great choice if you want to read the Bible in a year or focus on Jesus’s role throughout the entirety of God’s Word.

The CSB Jesus Daily Bible is wonderful if you are searching for a Bible for daily reading. It's already divided into Weeks and Days if you prefer to follow a 5-Day guided plan, but it's not a distraction if you prefer to use your own schedule. By the way, you don't have to start with January 1, but use your first day as Day 1, Week1 (in case you think it's too late to begin a yearly Read Thru the Bible plan.
One of my favorite options in a Bible is wide margins. This provides room for your notes, but the print is still easy to read. Plus, this Bible is not too heavy or awkward to hold. Other things I love is an extensive concordance, maps, and the summaries, takeaways, and applications to your life. There is also book summaries for each book using a "Who, What, When, Where, and Why" format. The Christian Standard Bible also captures the original meaning of Scripture without sacrificing clarity. It's a hard cover Bible and I love the feel of the cover. Get this for yourself or as a gift!

Daily Bible Reading is an important and crucial part of my Day. I have only read through the entire Bible in One Year ONCE in my life. I feel some of the plans and Chronological Bibles don't have enough "substance" to help me with my Daily Bible reading.
I can honestly say that the CSB Jesus Daily Bible is so different then the rest. There are many features that really make this stand out for me: The first being that this Bible is undated, so if I miss a day or 2 I can pick up right where I left off. I felt guilty missing a day or so with other plans as they are dated. I really like that the plan isn't "printed" to follow, it is actually incorporated within the Bible itself. I also really LOVE the Weekly Introductions and Recaps that are incorporated within. VERY encouraging info is contained in those. The look and layout, especially the charts and infographics, are OUTSTANDING! The Bible is vibrant and colorful.
I HIGHLY recommend this Bible to anyone who is looking for a "no guilt" Bible Reading Plan and Read the Bible in a Year! WONDERFUL Bible!
I have searching for a good daily Bible that would be a perfect fit for me. The search is now over when I received a copy of CSB Jesus Daily Bible. I love how it guides me each day, while beginning the week with introductions and ending it with summaries. It is hard cover and includes articles, charts, maps, introductions for each book, and a ribbon marker. I found the version, print, and font is easier for me to read. I look forward to continuing to reading this Bible the rest of the year.
CSB Jesus Daily Bible definitely deserves a five star rating. I highly recommend it for those who are are looking for a new way in reading the Bible in a year. I think it would make a great gift, as well.
I received a copy of CSB Jesus Daily Bible from Lifeway Christian Resources, but was not required to write a positive review. This review is one hundred percent my own honest opinion.
Absolutely gorgeous! What an amazing resource to have and it is so easy to use. The days are set up and you just follow along for the day. I absolutely love how everything in the notes and summaries puts the focus on JESUS and how the WHOLE Bible is about Him.
I won this book on a blog giveaway. I was not required to write a review. All opinions are my own.
