Rate this book
Mia can hardly contain her excitement—her family is going to see the ballet! Mia picks out the perfect outfit, the perfect shoes, and the perfect hair ribbon. . . . She's all ready to go! But what Mia isn't ready for is the big snowstorm that covers her neighborhood in a winter wonderland. Oh no! Without a way to get to the ballet, Mia has to make the most of her snowy day. After all, the only thing better than going to see a ballet is dancing in one!

There's snow day fun for everyone in this book–use the full sheet of stickers to decorate a special wintery scene on the last page!

Mia has big plans to go into the city to watch a ballet, but a huge snowstorm makes it impossible to drive. Her creative parents are determined to alleviate her disappointment, though, and soon all three of them have made it a snow day to remember. Contains a sheet of stickers with directions for placing them on the last page.

The colorful illustrations and ballet-obsessed kitty will likely appeal to many girls, and it is fun to watch Mia learn to have a good day despite her thwarted plans. Some of her activities may even inspire children on their own snow days.
