The Art of Leadership

Rate this book
The Art of Leadership , 5th edition is based on two ideas. The difference between most other leadership texts and The Art of Leadership , 5th edition can be compared to the difference between a lecture and a seminar. Although both are good educational vehicles, the lecture is better for conveying large amounts of information, while the seminar is better for developing skills and attitudes. A good lecture is interesting and builds knowledge, while a good seminar is stimulating and builds competency. Without sacrificing either theoretical foundation or important content, the fifth edition of The Art of Leadership emphasizes the interactive, seminar approach to learning.

Good textbook on Leadership but extremely Americanized content (even the international version that I read).

This book provides a mileu in leadership, a walking journey through theorists with applicable activities. It Talks about organizational success, vision, ethiscs, values, the "empowered workplace," and many more deeply relevant topics to the educational professional. I found the book engaging and can't wait to make notes in my commonplace book about it.

In this book, The Art of Leadership, it gives life learned advice from the author about leadership. It goes through multiple ways of communicating with people and how to work with them. It gives very thoughtful insight on what it takes to be a leader and what it is about. It goes very deep into it to make sure that you have the full understanding on how leadership works.
