This sexy romance, 4th in the Time for Love series (but can be read as a standalone) is the story of Brock and Victoria. Brock heads up a successful painting business with his brothers whom he's cared for since the untimely death of his parents when they were teenagers. They also perform together in a rock band called Whiskey Heat at a local bar. When snobby Victoria shows up there one day, ex-fiance of his friend Scott and a woman he never expected to see in this lower class environment, he is struck by the vulnerability he glimpses in her eyes and is surprised by his visceral reaction to her. He strikes a bargain with her, asking for 15 minutes of her time to take a chance on starting something with him. When Victoria agrees, she is surprised to find that despite her initial misgivings, opposites do attract and Brock is everything she never thought she was looking for. The question is whether or not their relationship will be strong enough to stand the tests that come their way.

Though this book is a standalone and the previous interactions are well explained, it does benefit the reader to have read the previous book in the series, 42 hours, in which Victoria and Brock have significant roles as secondary characters. Victoria comes across in that story as a selfish, unhappy, and not very likeable woman. I thoroughly enjoyed how her character was redeemed in this book, showing her to be a vulnerable and reserved woman who made her mistakes but is willing to admit to them and be a better woman for Brock. She definitely shows a lot of character growth and becomes in this story the woman that she really aims to be. Brock, having been emotionally hurt in 42 hours by the fallout from the relationship in that story, deserves a sweet woman and that woman turns out to be Victoria. He sees beyond her reserved and snobbish shell to the sweetness inside and brings it out of her. His character is thoroughly likeable as a confident, caring man, willing to use his body and sex appeal to entice Victoria into a sexual relationship that goes beyond what he planned, but in a good way. The sexual attraction between them simmers from the start of the story and the love scenes between them are steamy and emotionally satisfying. The secondary characters play a key role in the plot, both the circle of friends that they are involved in and Brock's two brothers. The camaraderie between them and the humour and witty dialogue go a long way to enticing the reader to want to read all of their stories.

Overall this was a wonderful entertaining read, with a fast paced plot, engaging characters, sexy love scenes and a sweet happy ending. 5 stars!

5 Brock and Tori Stars

Hands down this was the best book in the series to date. I LOVED Brock and Victoria. They were both partners to Gaby and Scott respectively in the previous book. I was not so keen on them but these two?....Perfect! It feels like the author has really grown with the characters and I loved the writing in this novel. Brock feels more grown up somehow to the other guys. As for Victoria, it was fantastic , and really quite moving to see her let go. As she thawed and embraced the real person inside instead of some frosty persona , we got to see so many layers to her. She had so much passion and loyalty and it was heartbreaking to see how others treated her. Tori actually has a sad background. She is incredibly loyal and I think she is my favourite female in the series. Now , for all the unkindness shown to her, when Brock and her fall out, he said some incredibly harsh things that actually mad me wince. I wanted to hug her and slap him. He seriously needed a come to Jesus style conversation, that thankfully one of the other characters does....but will it be too late? Once things have been said they cannot be unsaid and life can sometimes take unexpected turns.
I really enjoyed this story and Brock and Tori are my favourite couple for sure.

I received a complimentary e-copy of 15 Minutes in exchange for an honest review.

This is book 4 in the Time For Love series, and this one focuses on 2 characters who we've already met, if you've read books 1-3.

Brock is the guy that Gaby was dating casually before she and Scott became an item and Victoria is Scott's uptight ex-fiance.

Brock and Victoria are about as different as they come. She's snooty and doesn't make much effort to make friends with anyone and part of her baggage comes from her parent's relationship. Brock is the guy that is used to taking care of things, starting with his younger brothers. He stepped up to take care of them when he was just 18, when their parents were killed in a car accident.

No one is more surprised than Brock when he convinces Victoria to give him "15 minutes" for him to show her how amazing they could be together. Well, maybe Victoria was more surprised that she actually said yes because there's just no way that they should even be in each other's world, much less go out on a date.

I really liked Brock and Victoria's story. I was surprised because I didn't think there would be anything that could make me love Victoria, but once I got to see her past and why she's the way she is and watch her get closer to Brock, I could understand where she was coming from. I especially loved how neither Brock nor Victoria saw their growing feelings coming. Of course I knew there would be some sort of misunderstanding that would jeopardize their relationship but I had faith that they'd get through things.

I'm especially excited that the series will be continuing on. Book 5 will bring us Gaby's sister Gwen and Cal's brother's story and I can't wait to see how their story plays out.

Thank you Bethany Lopez for this great series!!!

I have to admit not a massive Brock fan main reason is because from the start I've been routing for Gaby and Scott, but after 15mins and seeing more of Brock I'm am definitely a fan :)
from him eyeing up Victoria at the bar, offering the kids work, his relationship with his brothers how can you not love him.
He's so sweet aswel as domineering which is what I think Victoria needs.
it was very interesting reading Victoria's view on things I mean yes she was still stuck up at the beginning but once she gave Brock his 15 minutes you could see she was changing becoming who she wanted to be not what she thought people wanted her to be.
I loved her speech to the girls at shelly and cals baby shower, I think if I was there I would have hugged her and made amends, I was so glad to see Victoria settling into the group become apart of them especially with the girls, it's like she's now really living her life being truly happy. I'm a massive fan of this series and loved the other couples wasn't too sure how I feel about this book but I loved. I'd even say that Brock and Victoria are one of my favourite couples :) cannot wait for the next book I need to know what happened between Gwen and Craig :)

*I received an ARC of this book in return for an honest review.*

I loved this book! Love, love, loved!

This is the story of Brock and Victoria (Tori). Those of you who have read the previous books in the Time for love series will have already been introduced to them. Brock is Gaby's ex, and Tori is Scott's ex-fiancé. Scott and Gaby formed a relationship leaving these two single, and boy am I pleased about that!!

So, I think it's probably important to mention that prior to reading this fabulous book, I hadn't read any of Bethany's previous work, so I knew nothing about any of the characters. That in itself is a crime which I plan to remedy very soon, but I think it was also a good thing, because I went into their story with no preconceived ideas about who these characters were or any expectations. Basically I went in blind.

Based on the initial tension between Tori and the group and the snippets of the past I got a glimpse of, I'm not sure if reading 42 Hours (Scott and Gaby's book) first would have made this a different experience for me, but I can tell you that I absolutely LOVED this story as a standalone.

Tori comes across as very prissy and snobby. She dresses nicely, her hair and makeup is always immaculate, she's well spoken and most would consider her high maintenance. It's how she was raised; groomed to be a trophy wife, to dedicate her life to being the perfect wife -her job to help her husband succeed - at least that's how she interpreted the things she was taught by her stepford style stepmother, Felicia.

Brock is the complete opposite. He's rough around the edges, likes to get dirty, sports a beard, is fiercely protective of his brothers and is real manly man. What I loved about Brock and how the author portrayed him, was that he wasn't repeatedly described as god like in his looks, cut like a diamond and had women drooling and dropping at his feet like male MCs so often are in this genre. He was rugged and had chest hair, played in a band with his brothers and yet still came across as insanely sexy! I loved that.

Brock was aggressive in his pursuit of Tori; wanting to chisel away at the gold walls of her facade and uncover some of the silver and bronze buried beneath the perfect surface.

They were so completely opposite that it was such a perfect match. Their chemistry was amazing. He pushed her to experience things she never wanted, he opened her up to a future she hadn't ever considered and he didn't treat her like glass.

Now, at one point in the book I wanted to climb on into the pages and smack Brock upside the head. Literally! Maybe knee his junk.. Tori had come so far, opened herself up and then he goes and makes me cry - twice! I completely get where he was coming from, because he is such a man, but I still wanted to smack him around a bit. He was frustrated and scared, but it didn't make his decision any easier to read.

So glad he sorted his head out and recovered.

I loved the dynamics of all the relationships. Tori and her sister - polar opposites yet had such great bond. Brock and his brothers, all so protective of each other. Even the circle of friends which I had been very weary about were brilliant and I can't wait to go back and read their stories and get to know their backgrounds.

So, I think it's safe to say I am a huge Bethany Lopez fan, and I can't wait to read more of her work.

Awesome! This book is released NOV 4th... Preorder people!

4.75 'Are you hot for me, baby?' stars. Hell yeah I'm hot for you Brock!

4.5 stars! Review copy provided by author.

I have read this whole series and each book has been so good. This may have been my favorite. I've said this before and I'll say it again, Bethany Lopez knows how to put a smile on your face. She's not over the top with angst but always throws in a little something to keep your interest. I wasn't sure I really wanted to read about Victoria after the way she treated Scott and his friends but this book pleasantly surprised me and we got to know why she is the way she is.

Brock (H) sees Victoria (h) in the bar and something is pulling him to approach her. She gives her classic icy response and he asks for just 15 minutes to change her mind about him. Well she doesn't give it to him until he finds her again and finally gets her to agree. After 15 minutes she agrees to a fun no strings attached relationship. Brock gets to see a side of Victoria no one else has and as she slowly opens up he really starts to like the person she is. They are complete opposites but very compatible. Brock opens her eyes to things she would never have done. He gets her to realize what she should be doing with her life and he gets his friends and Victoria to all give each other a chance.

I love the girls in this book! They all are unique but not one of them is over the top bitchy or cruel. I find that this is so common in novels to have a bitchy villain or the girls in general are so mean to each other. When I find a novel that doesn't have that it's really refreshing. Now don't get me wrong the bitchy villain always makes it interesting but it is so nice for the change of pace. I was like YEY all the girls get along! No one is sabotaging the other. Okay so back to Brock and Victoria...they have this relationship where they are so completely different but it just works. They bring out the best in each other and I felt like Brock brought out the inner beauty Victoria had been hiding and when it finally came out it was like she was a different person...the ice princess melted.

After spending quite a bit of time together Brock and Victoria realize they have more than just a fun, no strings attached relationship but right when they admit there feelings for each other something happens. Will they be able to move on? And will it be together or apart?

Like I said this book took me by surprise not because I didn't think I'd like it but because of how much I did. It's usually hard for me to like someone I didn't in previous books but we just didn't know her. I also love the connection Brock has with his brothers and what he's done for them, I'm keeping my fingers crossed we get books about them too. I'm looking forward to the next book which is about Gaby's sister Gwen and Cal's brother Craig. You get to know them a little in 42 Hours (Gaby and Scott's story). And maybe just maybe a book about the rich hot boss (Carson Brandt) of Scott's? hint hint ;)

This is book is told from both H and h POV.

I recommend

*I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review*

I liked this book. I was curious to see how the author would get Brock and Victoria together. After all, she's the spoiled ice queen and he's the hard working family guy. I guess opposites do attract!

We see a softer side of Victoria in this book. A side I was hoping she possessed. I had my doubts about these two getting together at first, but when she went out with Brock, the sparks flew. She needed someone to nudge her inner Tori out and encourage her to do what she loved. Brock being the big teddy bear, family guy type, did that for her.

I love this series! We see glimpses of all the characters in each other's books, but we really get to know them in their own book. That's what Victoria needed in order for all of us to accept her into the group. And now, like the rest, we'll continue to watch her grow with Brock by her side in future books.

OMG. I've read this whole series so far and I've disliked Victoria. After this book I have a whole new respect for her! Talk about sexy romance. 1. I love seeing more about the other characters. 2. I like Victoria now. I feel through the whole series she has been misunderstood. I'm in love with this series. It really makes me fall for the characters. Each book is stand alone. You don't have to read the whole series to know what is going on, but it makes it better! This is a fantastic series. I fully recommend it to everyone!

Audible Review:

I have been enjoying reading and/or listening to the Time For Love series by Bethany Lopez. I love this group of friends, their camaraderie and loyalty to each other. I feel like they are my friends as well, but I have to say 15 Minutes has been my favorite so far. Which is really surprises, as it features Victoria. Yes, that Victoria.

We have known Victoria from the three previous books as Scott’s fiancé. She has always seemed cold and distant and never truly welcomed his friends into her life. What we did not know is she was raised to be a “perfect wife” and all it entitled. She never understood what his friends meant to him. But now Scott and his friends are out of her life for good, right? Then a chance encounter with Brock, yes, that Brock, that has sparks flying everywhere for these two!

We have always seen Victoria as a strong and beautiful woman, but now we also see Victoria’s vulnerability and sense of loss. My heart actually broke her for a bit, which yeah, surprised me as well. And Brock? Well I have loved him since we first met him. He is an easy-going and very likable guy. His brothers are everything and he is extremely loyal. No one is more surprised by their chemistry then Brock. But why not explore what they feel for each other and have some fun, right? But life is never quite that simple!

Narrated by Olivia Patterson, I absolutely loved 15 Minutes by Bethany Lopez. Brock and Victoria could not be more different and yet they seemed to fit. Their journey was not always an easy one, but I loved seeing Brock getting her to open up to new things and encourage her. She truly blossomed in this story and we all need a man like that!

4.5-stars. Happy listening!

First of all, this book blew me away. I was a little hesitant to start since Victoria didn’t have a good history with the gang. But once she let herself me more open and open herself more I really enjoyed knowing more of her. Brock brought out a side to her no one saw coming and they made perfect sense. When they opposite attract they sure did with these two. It was great to see Victoria finally welcome into the fold and see how all these relationships and friendships still thriving. Brock and Victoria story was absolutely incredible and I couldn’t of asked for a better pairing.

My heart has been stolen by this exquisitely mesmerizing and incredibly beautiful story of self-discovery and unexpected surprises. Sometimes life presents us with exactly what we need whether or not we have the ability or desire to see it. At those times, we can choose to grab hold of the precious opportunity and dare to see what possibilities could come from it, or we can back away and run from the sometimes uncomfortable change staring us in the face. Those with enough courage to take a leap of faith are rewarded with a gift that fills a part of their life they never knew was empty. Those lucky few understand that they have been blessed beyond their wildest dreams, and they will do whatever necessary to ensure that they never lose it again.

Brock knows what it’s like to have to step up and take on responsibility in the face of disaster. He is no stranger to working hard, and he enjoys the fruits of his labor. His brothers depend on him to be their rock in the midst of life’s insanity and uncertainty. A simple life filled with family, fun, and friends is what he loves and yet when he sees Victoria, he can’t help but wonder if he is missing something. Deep down, he knows there is more to her then her pristine and pompous exterior, and he fully intends to find out all there is to know. Victoria is intrigued by Brock’s sudden interest in her. She’s not interested in his type, and yet she can’t stop thinking about him. With nothing to lose, Victoria agrees to get to know Brock, and in the process they find something that neither was looking for.

I have to admit that I even fell in love with Brock. He had such a huge heart for taking care of his brothers, and he never felt that it was a hardship. Nothing mattered more to him then making sure that his family was taken care of provided for. A simple uncomplicated life was everything he wanted, and yet he couldn’t help but feel that Victoria was a mystery and pulled him in like no other woman had. This was one mystery that he couldn’t wait to investigate, and he poured all of this enthusiasm into it. Victoria didn’t know how to respond to his gentle yet sincere interest in getting to know who she was deep down. She found that her stone walls didn’t stand a chance when Brock wielded his honesty, persistence, and heart into pursuing her. Throughout their time together, Brock was able to help Victoria see just how amazing, strong, and talented she truly was. Through his eyes, she saw herself as the woman that she always dreamed she could be, and she filled the missing piece of his heart that he never knew was empty.

This is the first book that I had read Bethany Lopez, and it will not be my last. I am completely and utterly impressed by the magnitude of heart and soul that breathes through the pages of this story. The ability to create these stunning characters and watch their struggle unfold before my eyes left me breathless and in awe of her astounding talent. It was the love and friendship that enfolded and surrounded Brock, his family, and friends that pulled at my heart and left a huge hole when their story ended. I can’t wait to read more about this group of remarkable characters that feel so real and down to earth.

When I realized Brock was getting his own book, it became the most highly anticipated of the Time For Love series for me. He has been my favorite from the moment he first appears. But then my world was totally rocked when I discovered the bitch <--- my own personal term…as I’m sure it is others, Victoria was his other half in 15 Minutes! I’m not even going to lie, when 15 Minutes popped up on my kindle I had great warring debates with myself about starting. I put it off for longer than I normally would if I had a Bethany Lopez book in this series pop up. I even bitched to my friends I was putting it off because Bethany had put my Brock with her. How could she?! What was she thinking?! How in the holy hell was she going to make that work and make me a believer?! Simple…she’s Bethany FREAKING Lopez. Nuff said. I’m amazed she pulled it off. Not that she’s not capable but mostly because I was so insanely stubborn about this connection - no way my Brock could be with her - that I just was unwilling to accept it was working, that it made sense, that it was possible, that IT.WAS.HAPPENING. And it was wonderful! And I loved it! And I wound up loving Victoria for Brock.

The ONLY reason I docked half a star, and I’m still feeling a little guilty over it, is because I actually wanted a little more here and there of the story as a whole, especially with Victoria’s background. I also wanted a little more on the casual side of the beginning of their relationship. Brock challenges Victoria to give him just 15 minutes of her time to convince her to see where things can go with them in a casual capacity but then it very quickly turns to something more. The casual side almost is non-existent even though it’s the initial basis for them giving each other a chance. Also, and this could just be my very strong dislike of Victoria from the past books, but learning her background didn’t really soften her to me that much. Her life has been all choice rather than circumstance and I had a hard time feeling bad for her. She had two side of a coin to pick from and then could have chosen her own path regardless of either side. BUT seeing where she came from and how she COULD open herself up to a different lifestyle then she was accustomed and let her guard down for Brock, to trust him and lean on him, THAT softened me to her, that opened me up to like her and accept her. Her and Brock gradually made sense. I think they may even be my favorite couple now. (Insert Bethany taking a bow).

As always it’s great to see all the other amazing characters, to catch up with them and learn some exciting news. I can’t wait for Craig and Gwen’s book. I’m hoping Brock’s brothers and Scott’s boss all will be getting books too. I love watching how all these characters blend together, which include their siblings and families. This is such a wonderfully written series. I’m so glad that I’ve kept with it. Bethany has a lightness and ease to which she writes, even in the sexiest of scenes, everything just flows seamlessly. If you haven’t read this series you should give it a go. And most definitely start at the beginning.

I honestly began reading 15 Minutes thinking I wouldn't like the story as much as I loved the first three titles in this series. Victoria is such a snob, who would find her attractive? After that first chapter when Brock walks up to Victoria at the bar quickly changed my mind. Holy hotness! Wow, I never knew Brock had it in him to be so sexy and downright assertive. And I think he surprised himself. All I need to say is I was easily hooked and read the book in one sitting.

In 15 Minutes we get to meet the real Victoria, not the cold, stiff-faced mannequin of the other books. Her fake veneer shows some cracks as she grapples with the apparent attraction she has for Brock. So things didn't work out with her fiance Scott. They weren't meant to be, but maybe, just maybe could the rugged looking, motorcycle driving, family first, smart businessman Brock turn out to be the only one she needs? Is 15 minutes enough time to find out?

Author Bethany Lopez delves into the conflict between the classes, showing how one woman was groomed by a step parent to become someone she wasn't in order to attract the "right" spouse. Watching Victoria shed her past--including her misguided beliefs and hang-ups--to fully embrace who she truly is--an incredible woman named Tori--and go after what she wants became a huge part of the book's appeal. From someone I despised to someone I really liked, Victoria actually became one of my favorite 'girls' in the Time For Love series. Let me mention the heartbreak she endures! That one scene so touched me while displaying how Tori was changing.

As for Brock.... Again, he came across as guarded but cool in the other books. When his relationship with Gaby soured, I felt for him since he really liked her. In this book, Brock came into his own (did he ever) and the painter by day/rocker in the band Whiskey heat by night changed my opinion of him rather quickly. His love for his younger brothers and his need to protect them is admirable as is his work ethic. I loved how he shoved aside the notion that he wasn't 'good enough' for the rich girl and pursued Victoria with a strength of character I didn't know was there. And when he leashes his seductive moves on her, no female can resist that!

I am truly loving the Time For Love series and only wish Bethany Lopez could write faster. Her characters and conflicts are so real, the time I spend with them now is cherished. 15 Minutes genuinely surprised me, made me fall in love with characters I once didn't think much of, while cementing my fangirl-dom for a certain author. I loved it! (Posted on Reader Girls: http://www.readergirlsblog.com/2014/1...).

I have to say after meeting Victoria in 42 Hours, I really didn't think I could ever like her. The author did a great job changing my mind.
I felt bad for Brook, as Gaby didn't treat him all that nice in 42 Hours, so I am happy to see him get his own love story. I certainly didn't see him with Victoria, but somehow they really work.
I think this is now my favorite in this Series. Rating 4.25.

15 Minutes
Bethany Lopez

5 stars

This is by far my favorite of the series. It usually doesn't happen that way. I always like the books about the main circle of friends, ya know. But when I started this one about Victoria - the cold, heartless, ex fiancée of Scott's - it pulled me in. This, the story of the outsiders looking in, it won me over!

Victoria was always okay with being arm candy, a trophy wife. That's what she thought she wanted out of life. Sure she went to college and got her MBA but nothing was better than doing charity events and being pretty. Or so she thought.

Brock, good ole boy Brock, who had his heart broken when he found Gaby and Scott together that morning at the lake. He's such a good guy. A guitarist in his brothers band, took over his dad's company and is making a name for himself. He took one shot at Victoria and was hooked. He wanted her. He knew that and asked her for 15 minutes that she didn't give him. At first.

He talked her into coffee, a ride on his motorcycle, then a job. What??? He brought out a side of her that we haven't seen in the series. He brought out her human side. Her compassionate side. Her funny smart assy side. He brought out her sexy side, too! I loved it. I love her. This was one hot book, as well!!

But after a terrible accident that Brock isn't sure he'll recover from, he sends her on her way. Tells her he doesn't need her. He makes her believe he doesn't want her. But doesn't he? After a while he realizes his mistakes but is it too late? Has he brought her so far out of her shell that she's moved on. She knows she worth more than being a pretty trophy now. She's got a job, a portfolio for her work. Will she forgive him? Take him back after the hurtful words he said? She's come so far but how much farther can she go?? You'll have to read to find out!

WARNING - I actually shed tears in this book!!! Get the tissues! It was like watching butterfly emerge from a cocoon. I absolutely loved this book!!!

I was hesitant to read a story entailing Victoria after getting to know how unliked and snobbish she can be as portrayed in the prior books in the series. There was more to the exterior attitude and was glad that I gave this book a go.

After an officially ended engagement with her ex-fiance, Scott and him moving on with someone else; it has left Victoria bitter and alone. Still keeping face of being made up and proper and continuing to mingle with the upper class peers, she continues to still be the uptight woman that people who know and see her to be. She figured the life with her ex-fiance and his circle of friends was long gone until it wasn’t thanks her sister’s plan to meet at bar to hang out one night.

Hello….Brock. A surrogate father and to now all grown brothers that he holds near and dear to his heart and would do anything for them. He had to change his ways and grow up fast. Starting his own painting business and being in a rock band with Brady and Brendan are just some of the things that make his connection with them even tighter. After one night of catching site of Victoria in the bar they were playing a gig at something about her sparked inside and between them and wanted to see what it means and where it goes.

“Relationships are made up of more than what people like to eat and drink,” I replied haughtily.

The saying holds true that “opposites attract” when it comes to Victoria and Brock’s story. Two people who have lives and personalities that are totally different in all ways possibly can be perfect for one another. I surprisingly really enjoyed reading and getting to know more to these characters than meets the eye. There were many walls built up around Victoria that the determination in Brock to break them down made their story one that was full of heartwarming moments. A 4.5 stars read that will get you looking deeper than the physical appearance and demeanor.

I was gifted a copy of this book by the author in exchange for review,

So firstly, I went into this book not having read any of the others in the series, which was great for me, because I had no idea who any of the other characters were, or their dynamics as a group before I sat down to read this,
And I plan on changing that Very Soon!

Opposites attract? You can bet your ass they do!!

Victoria is, well I hate to say it, but she's an upperclass snooty bitch, impeccably dressed, make up perfect, a little stuck up her own ass.. (You get the picture)
While Brock is a guitar playing, beer swilling, cocksure hunk of a man, who finds himself drawn to Victoria with no thought as to why asks her to grant him his '15 minutes' too see what, if anything could happen between the two..

I was surprised at the way these two actually got their act together pretty seamlessly, despite all their obvious differences, and there is definitely something about Victoria that while I initially didn't really like her, I was drawn to her and actually found myself routing for her and their relationship to work out...

I enjoyed the way Brock and Victoria interacted with each other while around their families, especially with Brocks brothers, and that they both did things that were out of their comfort zones in order to spend time together and learn more about each other.

But there was at least one big moment that I wanted to reach into the pages and slap the shit out of them both, him for being an asshole, and her for the way she just let him..
And yes, I did get a bit teary...

I enjoyed the way that the story just flowed, and the authors writing style, none of it seemed forced or just added for effect, and look forward to reading more of her work..

4 well deserved stars

15 Minutes was a brilliant novel! I totally enjoyed Bethany Lopez's writing style and how intense this was without being over the top. This was an interesting look into Victoria's life after her dealings with Scott. I was shocked with how much I enjoyed it and love her personality. I also love how Brock and Victoria are somewhat "connected" through their relationships with their ex's Gaby and Scott.

Victoria & Brock are the epitome of opposites attract. As different as they are they are perfect together. They balance each other out. Victoria is a prissy snob, she doesn't care much for others and focuses on herself. Brock is the kind of guy to show love and support and is always their for the people who need him. I was surprised to see how their romance played out.

The romance between the two of them was perfect! I liked how they were raised differently because in the real world that's how couples are. Brock was a very persistent man when it came to pursuing Victoria and she finally gave in to him. Brock wanted to "change" her in essence and get her to really enjoy life…he opened her up to new things she never experienced.

The other relationships family wise with Victoria and her sister and Brock and his brothers were a great asset to this novel. It allowed insight into each of their lives without overdoing it.

This is such an awesome book that I definitely need to read the next book as soon as it comes out!

***ARC provided in exchange for honest review***

Most people believe that opposites attract and after reading this sizzling page turner I totally understand the why of it. Brock is a loyal friend, hard worker and great big brother/father who stepped up to the plate once his parents passed. Victoria comes off as a uptight snob who thinks she's better than everyone else but is truly just a misunderstood woman who wishes not to turn into a bitter shell like her mother after her parents divorced. Together these two click he brings out a fun loving woman while she makes him realize that 15 minutes is never enough and that she see's him for the fantastic guy that he is. The chemistry explodes off the page whenever their in a room together even if its from a touch of their fingers. I enjoyed catching up with previous characters and seeing how they are and how they interact with Victoria who they thought wasn't good enough for another of their friends. This series has awesome characters who leaving you wishing that you was there right along with them as they watch Brock and his brothers play in their band while hanging out at the bar. I so loved this book and can't wait to catch and visit this awesome cast of characters once again.

15 Minutes is book 4 in the Time for Love series and focuses on Victoria and Brock. If you a have read books 1-3 then you will know all about who they are.
Victoria is a snooty stuck up cow to say the least and she has been jilted by Scott in book 3 for his best friend Gaby. And Brock suffered a similar fate as he was dating Gaby!

Brock and Victoria come together in an unlikely alliance, Brock sets his sights on he one night and gives her the opportunity for 15 mins of fun and no strings attached. She declines in her usual manor but gives in when he offers her the same again.

Up until now we have seen Victoria being nothing more than an utter bitch, but now we get to see side to her we haven't before. I loved reading about and I am going to be honest I wasn't sure how this book was going to play out considering the encounters we have had with her in previous books.

A great wee addition to series and once again Bethany Lopez has delivered a great story.

5 stars for this one

Who knew the heart of an ice princess could be thawed? Certainly not me! Who knew she even had a heart?? Victoria was a character that I loved to hate when she was first introduced. What she needed was sexy Brock in her life…and in her bed. I wanted to throat punch her numerous times when she was first introduced. But, by the end of this book, I liked her – a lot! I never thought I would be saying that about Victoria. I chalk this up to the talent of the author - great writing!!

And let’s talk about Brock… I knew he was a good-lookin’, good-hearted man, but now that this book has all the attention on him, I am thoroughly convinced he is awesome! Thank you for another amazing BBF, Bethany. <3

This was another fabulous story in the Time for Love series. Can’t wait for the next one – 10 Years!

P.S. I would love to go muddin’ with Brock.

Raised to be the "perfect" wife, Victoria has spent her days maintaining her impeccable outward appearance and her nights mingling with the rich and entitled. When her engagement to Scott ended, Victoria thought she'd be rid of him and his circle of friends forever, but a chance encounter with Brock will change not only the way she sees him, but the way she sees herself.

Brock is a man who's happy and content with his life. A surrogate parent to his now-adult brothers, he spends his days running the company he built himself and his nights playing in his brothers' local band. When he runs into Victoria in the bar after a show, sparks unexpectedly fly, and he's interested in seeing where it goes.

But can the man who's happy with his life, convince the woman who always wants more, to give him a shot with only 15 Minutes on the clock?

SNSBAH Rating: 5.0

~~~~~~~~~~Dee's ★★★★★ Review~~~~~~~~~~
This is a very interesting and entertaining read about two totally different people, Victoria and Brock. He is a burly, take charge, protective type, no stranger to hard work. She is a shallow, rich girl , more of a bitch flitting about shopping and living a life with no purpose or meaning. But something about her intrigues him and since he enjoys a challenge, he talks her into giving him fifteen minutes to see what could happen. What follows is an eye opener as each influences the other to become better versions of themselves. I like the interplay of emotions and the evolution of their relationship. It is worth reading again and again.
Victoria is not a very likeable character but we never really got to know her very well in the previous books. Her engagement to Scott is over and she meets Brock and sparks fly but he is one of Scott's friends. The rest of the group is sceptical of their relationshiop because they are so different, I was ucomfortable with the way they treated her in the beginning even though I could understand their reasons. We see a completely new side to Victoria and I grew to love her and Brock as a couple and couldn't wait to see where their relationshio would go and how she would fit in with his group of friends.
15 Minutes is Brock and Victorias story and I loved this book! it's my favorite book from this series. I have to say the author does such an amazing job at story telling. I just can't seem to get enough of this great group of friends.
I was intrigued to see how the author was going to make Victoria likable or how this relationship with Brock was going to work. We where able to see a different side of Victoria and yes I even started to like her. As for Brock we get more insight on his past. Although these two are so different it so works, and the chemistry between them is very hot. I don't read many series but this author has me so hooked, can't wait to read more.
Victoria and Brock are the not the likely couple. Victoria comes from money and wants to be the charity loving supporting wife to that special someone. After loosing her meal ticket she stays to herself. Brock the hard worker owner of his own company has always made sure to take care of his brothers after his parents died. Brock runs into Victoria one night and decides to ask her for 15 minutes. She doesn't even think about giving him the time of day. Victoria comes along way in this one and the girl we hated does a full circle and surprises us all. Will she change for good, or is this just an act until Victoria finds someone that can make her what she wants!?
I really enjoyed this book. I hadn't read the previous book but you did a great job of catching us up on everything. I wasn't sure how to feel about Victiria at first but she grew on me and by the end of the book I was routing for her HEA.
I really enjoyed the back and forth with Brick and Tory and how different they were. I Fell for Brock from the beginning. He was a sweetheart with a heartwarming story. Though he did frustrate me there at the end but what good H doesn't lol.
I will definitely be checking out more of this authors work.
