Dead Silence
You think you know the people around you, but we don't. Not even loved ones.From early on I was obsessed with true crime, one case in particular stood out and that's why I signed up for a traveling college course. A couple of the places we were visiting were from this case.I just didn't think I would be a part of it.And now that man, the serial killer, is stalking me. Death surrounds me and it's my fault.But I wasn't ready for the biggest shocker of my life when I decided to lure him out.

Fast paced and twisted, with a nice little plot twist at the end.

I'm seeing three to four stars for this one and I feel like the oddball out. :/
When I went into this, I wasn't expecting a literary masterpiece, so I wasn't holding it to a high standard of any kind. It was just too much and not enough at the same time. I personally struggled getting into this one as well as finishing it. It's only 91 pages! I cannot DNF a story that's THIS short, so I continued on. Is it a good plot for Dark Romance? Yes! I just feel as if it wasn't executed well.
The start was promising. But there is this collapse somewhere in the storyline where it felt like the author ran out of ideas or had too many ideas and didn't know how to properly insert them in the story.
(Personal rant): Also, I have this personal hate for MMCs who are supposed to be badass but have this cocky narrator tone. Like cool, you are badass. Do you have to remind us every second or is this you trying to convince yourself you're the badass you say you are?

Short story, great concept but felt a bit rushed towards the end and lots of ideas squished together. Like it could be another story
I really enjoyed the POV from the guy more. The twist with the dad was surprising.
Reading other reviews I didn't find it as spicy as some have said.
Overall a good read and I love the cover.

Scare me anyday
Kaia and talon are goals a killer and a witness. This book was absolutely fantastic the plot was fast the spice was fantastic. My only complaint is that it needs to be longer. Read this book right now. Bravo Mrs rose bravo

Quick read, I love scarecrow dark romance.
With it being a short book, I wish it went deeper and gave more. Made me crave more details.

For a short book, this was actually a lot better than I thought it would be. I enjoyed this.
