Can he still have his privacy if he stays involved with Rebecca Finlay. Can Becca juggle her career & be a good mom to the 16 yr old twins.
Thank goodness for Becca's assistant, Cass & her agent Merlyn & PA Mona to keep her on track to have some type of normalcy in her life. Rebecca doesn't enjoy the lime life but its the price to pay for being loved by her fans. Though it makes it a lonely life. Until the younger hot chef became interested in the intelligent beauty. Interlude by Isabella White is a He Falls First/Hollywood vs Smalltown/Age Gap romance. With a twist having the FMC being older, famous and shy and the MMC is confident, but careful, sexy but not wanting the spotlight fame brings. This romance has sad pasts, strong characters, love, laughs and enough spice that will have your imagination working overtime.

FMC Rebecca don't like the lime light, but is use to it being a world renown author. Trying to balance her celebrity and being a single mother isn't easy, but her writing helps ensure her children want for nothing. Her assistant is always trying to push her to get back out there, but Rebecca's life is already busy she wonders if there really is room for more and are her kids ready for that. When Rebecca heads to a business dinner and is cornered by an executive from the film studio she's working with, the chef and owner becomes her knight in shining armor not even knowing who she is. MMC Jack is a great chef and runs not only his families steak house restrung, but also the Boathouse which is a yacht turned restaurant on the water for special clients. When his worse nightmare Paul from the film studio calls for a 'special dinner', Jack's stomach churns and he wants to turn him down but needs the money if he wants to open a second Boathouse. He agrees, but everything changes when Paul's date turns out to be the woman he saw at his families restaurant a month ago that he can't stop thinking about. Jack steps in and saves the day for Rebecca, but now that he finally found her, he's not letting her get away. Jack doesn't want the spot light and engulfs every part of Rebecca's life, can he get past that to be with her? Rebecca hasn't been with anyone since her husband past and Jack is tempting, but she also doesn't know if this can work long terms due to distance and the spot light her life is constantly surrounded by. Will Jack and Rebecca find a way to get a HEA or will the spot light prove to be too much and let outside forces drive them apart?

I did not finish the book. I couldn’t get into the story within the first few chapters. I’m not sure if it was the plot or the writing, but I was disappointed.
