De la saga debo de decir que es la misma historia una y otra y otra y otra vez. todos los personajes también son iguales pero lo que más me dejó pensando fueron algunos comentarios misóginos que hacen los MMC's y como todas las FMC's parecía que aspiraban (verdaderamente) a se madres y más de casa, que no está mal, para nada, pero que todas piensen igual cuando como la mitad ya era profesional si me dejó con un mal sabor de boca. y sumado a esto, como también renunciaron o dejaban su vida en pausa porque los MMC las embarazaban. Ellas estaban pausando su vida para que ellos tuvieran la vida perfecta: una esposa, una madre, unos hijos, una ama de casa y una personas que los ama y los apoya, mientras continúan sus carreras sin ningún retraso o altibajo.

I have always loved Cole, but from the moment that man started speaking Gaelic, I was hooked 🫠. There's clearly something still in the water in the New York Nighthawks locker room, and it doesn't just affect the players. While Cole and Lorna are adorable, what i loved most is how Cole supports her dreams and goals, even though you know his posessive self just wants to steal her away.

It is Lorna Dunigan’s twenty-first birthday. And her best friend and roommate, Ivy scored bottle service at the new club, the End Zone. Naomi and her husband are friends with the quarterback for, the New York Nighthawks. She felt bad for not getting, Ivy anything for her birthday a couple of weeks ago. She wanted to give her something fun. She is gifting her an open tab and a table just for them. When Ivy’s friends heard, they invited themselves. Lorna didn't know Jen, Stephanie, or, Darla very well. However, she just thought the more the merrier.
The Nighthawks will have played their last preseason game on the same night at home. Naomi, their client, had warned them that the place would be packed. The owner was a friend of the quarterback, and the team liked to celebrate their wins, at the club. Ivy liked to go out a lot, and, Lorna was more of a homebody. So, they tended to balance each other out. Lorna got Ivy to stay home, more often than not, and when she knew her bestie had an early client at the salon, she would go out with her. To ensure, Ivy got home early enough and didn't overdue the libations.
When the two of them arrived at the club, the three others were there already. Jen and Stephanie were dressed similarly to Lorna and Ivy. However, Darla dressed to impress. Her skirt was so short that her panties were even worried if they were going to be covered. She paired that up with a halter bustier and five-inch stilettoes. Her makeup was on point, but Lorna being the professional stylist that she is, would’ve done something different with her blond hair. If they’d come to their apartment to get ready before going out. Right away, Darla latched on to Ivy and complained that it was about time they were there. Darla told her they needed to get to their booth before the players arrived, and, the women piled in trying to get their attention.
Imagine Darla’s surprise when the players did arrive, and the quarterback of the team, Micah, headed toward their table and didn't ask her out but instead asked Lorna out. The girls go out on the floor, too. When the two guys from the team, are so surprised he asks the mystery girl to dance coach, Cole O’Hara turns around and falls into the abyss called Lorna. When he took in her fully he was bold over and walked toward the couple before he realized it. Lorna noticed him when he was closer. He knew by the way she looked at him she wasn’t a jersey chaser.
Micah glimpsed over his shoulder. When he saw his coach, he started to smile until he noticed his agitated expression and his brow dipped. “Coach?” Telling Micah to walk away. “Walk away, or you are finished with the Nighthawks. Do I make myself clear?” Perplexed, Micah made his excuses to Lorna and left. But Micah did not understand what was going on with his coach. This was for sure an OTT, but it was a good storyline, so it didn't feel all in your face like some. The characters were endearing, and the way Cole spoke to Lorna in Gaelic was also romantic.

Lorna is a hairdresser who has dreams of opening up her own salon one day. On her 21st birthday her best friend, Ivy takes her to a club to celebrate. One of her clients is the wife of a Nighthawks player and knows the owner of the club, she tells her she will reserve them a table and bottle service for the night. Ivy invites a few other friends and they make a night of it. The team is at the club to celebrating their recent win. One of the players ask Lorna to dance and she reluctantly agrees.
Cole is the offensive coordinator for the Nighthawks and has joined the players at the club, while at the bar he spots a beautiful woman and he is instantly attracted to her and feels like he has found his one. When he sees one of this player dancing with her he cuts in. He very forcefully warns the player off and tells him he is fired if he doesn’t leave. Never seeing Cole like this the rookie player makes an excuse and leaves. Lorna is ok with that because she is very attracted to Cole. They head up to the VIP section where it is quieter so they can talk. Ivy and the other girls join them. There is one girl in the group who is after snagging herself a football player and is kind of nasty to the other girls and jealous that Lorna is getting attention from not one but two men.
Both of them feel the intense connection and are ready to explore it. He gives Lorna and Ivy a ride home and asks Lorna on a date. The date goes well and they end it at his house having their first time together. She’s a virgin, no mention of his last time but he does have condoms in his nightstand, he thinks about getting one for a split second but decides no because he wants her knocked up and tied to him.
Everything is going well for them until the jealous friend leaks a story to the press about how Cole threatened the rookie player at the club. The media spin it into some kind of love triangle and it paints Cole in a bad light. He doesn't care but it does need to be addressed, lucky for him the team owner, Lennox is all about love and backs him.
Cole wants Lorna to move in with him and she hesitates because she does not want to leave Ivy alone. He convinces her and buys a building for her to open her own salon. She’s not sure and doesn’t want Cole for his money but agrees and Cole offers Ivy a great job at the salon too.
I love yous and a proposal. Epilogue with Lorna pregnant at a post game party, also sets up her bestie Ivy’s book with one of the rookies. Years later with three daughters and a new born son.
Was a good story but felt like it was lacking something. Cole’s speaking Gaelic was sexy but Lorna constantly melting over it got old. And If she suspected that she was pregnant why was she pouring herself a glass of wine?

So, just as every Nighthawk in this series, Cole sees Lorna, and is instantly smitten.
As one of the coaches, he should be older and wiser ... but all good sense leaves him when she's on the dance floor with one of his players. This writing team makes this age gap, insta-love story very entertaining and engaging. I enjoyed how effortlessly he moved her into his life.
This went the way I expected, and their HEA was fun. I appreciate the complimentary copy of this book I received from the author (thank you) and I happily leave my review. Their chemistry and steamy attraction had me flipping pages, and finished in record time, much to my dismay. This can be enjoyed as a stand-alone, but I do recommend reading this series in order for the best experience.

This is book number 12 of the The New York Nighthawks series and focuses on Cole and Lorna. Cole is the offensive coordinator for the Nighthawks and decides to go to The End Zone with the team after one of their wins. Lorna is newly 21 and celebrating her birthday with some friends at the same place. When Cole sees Lorna, he immediately knows that he has found his forever and does whatever he has to do to get her, including warning off one of his players. They both fall hard and fast for each other while working towards their forever. This was a great story and a great addition to the series!

This was a fun quick read… and who knew that Coach O’Hara was full of all that dirty talking and possessiveness? Lorna was sweet and innocent and Cole knew she was his as soon as he laid eyes on her.

This was a short yet steamy age gap romance that will have to rooting for more! I really enjoyed Cole and Lorna. These two are sweet, steamy, insta-love, funny and perfect for each other. Cole and Lorna fall hard and fast with each and while there is some drama, it just brings them closer together. I really enjoyed this book and I can’t wait for the next book.

I never thought that Cole could be like this.
Cole knew right away that Lorna was his. Lorna also knows from the start that Cole is hers. There short but steamy age gap story is really hot. It was a short insta-love 🥰 story but it's full of funny and alpha male moments. Especially that sexy hot irish accent I literally cannot blame Lorna for falling for that sexy accent.

It’s no surprise but this series just keeps getting better!! Everything written by Fiona Davenport is GOLD!! I love Cole & Lorna together. Cole is the epitome of a doting alpha & Lorna is the sweet “lass” who steals his heart with just a look. I always love the fast paced connection Fiona puts in their writing; perfect for giving me all the feels & leaves me always wanting more!!

This whole series is beautiful, these men who are possessive, willing to do anything to have at their side the woman of his life. Cole without looking for him found Lorna, and from the first moment knew that she was the woman of his life. The plot is good, with the touches for a good reading with a happy ending.

Great story
This is a great story with amazing characters. Cole and Lorna fell in love at first sight. Their beautiful love story evolved perfectly with Cole being a possessive alpha male and treating with so much love it is swoon worthy. I know everyone will love their story as much I did.

I enjoyed Cole in this book. The offensive coach knew right away that Lorna was his. I love how much a dirty talker he was with Lorna. Great addition to the New York Nighthawks series. I'm hoping there will be more books in the series.

Loved it! Lorna just turned 21 and is going to out to the club with her roommate to celebrate. They end up at the club the The Nighthawks are as to celebrate a win. As soon as Cole sees Lorna dancing with one his players he knows she is meant to be his so he steps in to claim what is his.

I really enjoyed Cole and Lorna.The offensive coach knew right away that Lorna is meant to be his. As soon as Cole sees Lorna dancing with one his players he steps in. He dont share. I love the sassy banter and the sweet talks between these two.
