My relationships with some of the nuns intensified while the head of the library, Sister Ignatia, taught me about the history of the convent, it’s rules and the exorcist rituals that were held inside it. Besides becoming more knowledgeable about the monastery I realized that I gradually was leaving my old life behind me, that the monastery became my new home.
