I loved this so much! I won a copy of this book and immediately wanted to read it! It’s such a cute love story. 2 people reluctant on love decide to take a chance on each other. The attraction was instant. I wouldn’t call it a slow burn but it wasn’t super fast either. It was just right! The spice was perfect. The family aspect was genuine and wholesome. Their interactions and banter just had me smiling thru this whole book. I cannot wait to read what’s next. Highly recommend this for anyone wanting to read a quick and cute love story!
Online blunder to Offline Love connection..Heartfelt, funny, warm and absolutely perfect!
Where can I start? I love, love, LOVE this adorable, heartfelt, perfect novella from start to finish!! In fact, I was left wanting more and more!! Work, family, social media, sassy, intuitive grandmothers, protective brothers and cousins abound in this fun and swooningly romantic story. A lovely treat for a cosy day, a rainy day, something to make you smile from head to toe, and make your day perfect with laughter and warmth.
Daisy is a smart, kind, motivated woman who is great at her job, knows her skills, and loves her family-- but she doesn't see her career confidence translating into her love life... luckily she is about to meet someone who is just as unsure about the whole thing.
Michael was my favorite character (and his sweet, hilarious brother!!). Michael grew up feeling as though love was a complicated word that ended up justifying poor treatment, and carries that with him. He concentrates on filling his world with experiences and things, but a mishap with his beloved brother makes him realise that love is more than things, and can't be replaced. He and Daisy are a perfect foil for each other, growing within and growing to love each other in the process! Plus, they just seem like a totally gorgeous couple!?
Highly recommend for anyone who enjoys a story that is full and rich with warmth, experience and forgiveness, the kind that comes from knowing yourself and knowing what is important in life.
Love is never an island, it's a place where all our worlds meet and we find belonging, harmony, loyalty and comfort. Daisy and Michael had a wonderful time learning about each other and each other's worlds, and hopefully lots of readers do too! We need more stories like this, and writers like Ms.Ocampo. I can't WAIT to see what she writes next. She has a couple stories I've been absolutely loving on Kindle Vella, so this was an auto-buy for me!
This was a cute novella book. I loved the interaction between the two main characters, Michael and Daisy. The descriptions of the city were one of my favorite things. They really made me feel like I had been to that place before. Of course, I wish it had been longer, but that's just a personal preference.
This was a fun, quick read! I really enjoyed watching Michael and Daisy’s relationship grow. Daisy is so relatable (social media really can feel like shouting into a void😅). I think one of my favorite parts was Michael’s past and how he learned to grow from it and start something real with Daisy😊

This was the cutest Novella! It was just the quick read I was looking for. It just gave all the cozy, sweet, familial vibes. Daisy who is so smart, and sweet and funny but is also struggling a little in her career. The thing that blew me away is she didn’t seem to see herself as artistic but the visions that she was working to bring to life to me is incredibly artistic. Just because it’s not something you can’t execute by yourself doesn’t mean you don’t have that artistic talent in you. That vision is just as important too. Michael, man do I love when we start off with an MMC that’s just being a straight up asshole 😂 It’s always a joy for me to watch them come down from that. His brother is the sweetest, I love a meddling family member in my books. Daisy’s abeula is the real MVP. Love that grandmother intuition.😏 Also the fact there’s a family group chat that has best going on family members lives is everything to me. 😂 I loved that! Honestly this novella reminded me of In the Heights. That might be a terrible comparison but it’s the vibes I got, I loved it and I’m sticking to it! I am so excited to get into Now and Then.

Daisy Lopez is the social media queen for a mid-sized hospital, keeping up the perfect online facade. But IRL? Daisy’s struggling to align her posts with her reality, fearing she might just be... boring.
Michael Coppens, The guy with the curated life, all smiles, trips, and six-pack selfies. Behind the filters? He’s grappling with family issues, heartbreak, and a boatload of insecurities. When Michael’s online rant about Daisy’s hospital goes viral, their worlds collide in a way neither expected. Sparks fly, lines blur, and suddenly, Daisy’s life is anything but boring. Can these two navigate the uncharted waters of authenticity and love, or will their filtered realities keep them apart?
What to Expect: * Younger Brothers: Because family always adds a sprinkle of chaos. * Emotional Support Water Bottles: Hydration is key, people! * Morning Routines & Misunderstandings: Real-life moments that are all too relatable. * Happily Ever Afters: Because who doesn’t love a good HEA?
Ocampo’s writing is fresh, fun, and full of heart. I love this author and her stories. She creates a world that is so simple to follow but it’s so much fun. I am always rooting for the main characters and the angst and drama, chef’s kiss!
If you love a story where digital lives meet real life love, this novella is a must-read. Daisy and Michael’s journey is a rollercoaster of emotions, guaranteed to leave you smiling and maybe a little teary-eyed. If you like your telenovelas, then you will love this novella.
I was so intrigued by the premise of this book. Mainly because I love romances set in Chicago, and this book was set in the Pilsen neighborhood. I couldn't not give it a go!
But I'm sad this just didn't work for me. Follow Me to Forever tried to do too much and in my opinion focused too much on the social media and video content parts that tied the FMC and MMC together. There's just not enough character development for each of these MC's individually, and certainly not enough for them together as a couple. I get that the author wanted to emphasize the value of short form content to inform and really meet people where they are in terms of information gathering...but it comes across as "dumbing down" content for the masses because we're all addicted to our phones and social media than what the author may have intended. The heavy focus on the minutiae of the FMC Daisy's work and professional life distracted from the romance. This resulted in a lackluster emotional development between MCs. And even in a novella, you need to establish emotional intimacy to help substantiate physical intimacy - especially in a book that you are marketing as a "steamy romantic comedy." I also want to note that this book is written in an alternating third person POV. But again, the perspectives and thoughts for the MMC's POV sections shifted between him (the MMC) and other male characters present in the scene. It made reading his POV really confusing! For a MMC who had a lot of hang ups and some key past relationship issues (FYI - he cheated on his ex-girlfriend), not to mention him being a finance bro and "lifestyle influencer" (ick), there's just not enough to redeem him.
This author has promise, so I will try other books by them to see if their writing has grown.
Michael is a social media influencer with a good sized following, and currently haunted by his own wrong doings in a recent breakup. When Michael's little brother has an unfortunate mix up at a hospital, Michael turns to his followers for justice.
"I've always had trouble denying myself things that I want"
Daisy is an uninspired work-a-holic. No time for real love. Too afraid she will be found boring. Michael's post ends up on Daisy's radar and as the hospital's social media rep, she MUST fix it.
"I don't want to share"
The two come together with INSTANT attraction. Can Michael let go of his past, and let someone new in? Can Daisy put aside her insecurities and risk it all?
"Daisy, I'm attracted to you, and I want to keep seeing you. What do I need to do to make that happen?"
Follow Me to Forever is a short Novella that offers a realistic fairy tale. If there is one thing I can count on from this author is: stories that could actually happen in real life. It's got spice, truth, insecurities, honesty, leaps of faith, ups and downs. All in about 11 Chapters.
Do you need a quick pick me up from that reading lull? This is your book!
WARNING! Read the books in order... Okay, you can blame me for reading these out of order and causing this rating... The only reason this is a four is because I know Michael's Character from 'Now and Then', which I read a couple months ago... But I still find myself wishing Daisy and Michael all the best in their new found love! "Stay feral, Daisy"
This novella is a sweet one Michael and Daisy who meet at the hospital Daisy works at as a social media marketer and Michael's brother, Anthony, is a patient. Though it was a little unbelievable that a social media person would work directly with a patient's family on a complaint lodged against the hospital for a mistake made, I did find Anthony to be genuinely a very funny and likable, younger sibling trying to lessen the severity of mistake that Michael was up in arms about. I like the angle of the project that Daisy enlists Michael's help on and even more so, I loved Daisy's crazy large family. Their family bets were a hoot and super realistic. The only other tiny thing that I found odd was that Michael had a slight freak out at Daisy's first family party after he kissed her and then helped the grandmother, yet then didn't hang out with her at all afterwards. Just a bit odd.
This was such a light, funny, and sweet read! I love that the characters seemed like normal people you can relate to in real life. Michael and Daisy came together in such a sweet and natural way. I also love, love, love the fact that the book was also informative when it comes to Diabetes. Having Type 2 Diabetes myself I could definitely relate. I also love the song selections in correlation to the chapters. This was very different. I didn't have to create a playlist one was already provided. Great read!
Everalda Ocampo is a prolific romance novella writer!
This spicy story follows Daisy Lopez, a hospital social media manager from Pilsen in the heart of Chicago. Michael Coppens is an influencer and videographer who meets Daisy when his brother, Anthony, is in the hospital for a diabetes complication.
They are quick to fall but slow to commit. Together, they make their own relationship rules.
I enjoyed these characters and wish I had more time to follow them through there forever!
Also, I love the playlist Everalda created for readers to listen to before each chapter. It really helps set the mood throughout the piece!
Thank you to the author Everalda Ocampo for gifting me a copy 🤍
I absolutely devoured this Novella and would recommend! The characters were easy to relate to and had such a cute love story. I honestly adored so much about this book. I’m Excited to read her next one!

What a cute/read!! I was blocked from page one! This love story was so cute and had plenty of swoon worthy moments. I loved how well Daisy and Michael’s characters worked together. It had just the right amount of spice and their banter was great. I devoured this book in one sitting. Lol Can’t wait to see more from this author!
This was such a fun work place romance. Michael and Daisy meet due to a mistake and instantly fall for one another! They both have past dating trauma, but can they work through it???
My favorite part was the family dynamics from both Daisy & Michael; family is everything! 💕
This book was such a cute, fun and enjoyable well written read! The characters were realistic and relatable. I really liked the the fmc family dynamic and the mmc love for his younger brother. Short and sweet with a HEA. I can’t wait for Everalda’s next book!
I love this book, the narrative description of our city makes me feel like I'm there myself! The characters are super cute together, and can I say, the music playlist recommendation based on the chapters? Sooo cute! I can't wait to read the second one!
I have read this twice now. I love this series and the diversity of both male and female characters strengthens and weaknesses are exposed.
